This place is amazing!! As soon as we walked into the house and opened the doors everyone went straight outside to look at the beautiful view. We as a family spent morning, afternoon and night lounging around the outside or inside of the house if we weren't out sight seeing. Most conversations always included how wonderful, clean and we'll supplied the house was. Bedrooms offer a reprieve from the heat when needed, but with the wind blowing all the time, the house was cool and comfortable. Pool was refreshing and though we didn't venture into the tide pool we enjoyed watching the waves splash over the rock and into it. My whole family said the house and location made their lives stress free for the whole week. There are great restaurants, food trucks and bars just within walking distance from the house. We loved our stay and hope one day to be able to come back again.

Nothing short of Spectacular!

Sunrises in the morning, sunsets at night, all from the comfort of the patio and tide pool. Sea View Play is by far my favorite villa I have ever stayed in. The view is spectacular and incredibly photogenic and the fact the living room opens up to experience that makes this a must stay villa in my opinion. Rob is a fantastic host and was incredibly quick to respond and made sure we had a great time. I can't recommend this place enough! We'll be coming back for sure.

Perfect house for 4 couples adult trip

This was our second stay at this house, and it was just as good as our first stay. Spectacular views, very clean. Nice bath towels, pool/beach towels and linens. The beds are super comfy, and the house was above and beyond clean. Lots of room for our four couples to spread out or could accommodate more than one family. There are two large kitchens, 2 large master bedrooms with baths attached. There are also 3 additional full bathrooms mid house. Each bedroom has a sliding door with a sea view. There is a nice half bath close to the living room. Communication with owner is spot on. Lots of tasty restaurants within walking distance to the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Stunning

When you enter this beautiful home you are immediately welcomed in with an outstanding view of the varied colors of the sea. The view is amazing! The home is furnished pleasantly with anything you could need to enjoy your stay! Rob was there to greet us and explained the workings of his home for our use in detail. Everyone enjoyed their stay and we would definitely stay here again!

Sea View Play

Great Location and property as listed. We had issues with electronic gates locking us out and in (twice during the week) as we were not made aware of ability to manual open (only remote gate openers).WiFi was excellent. All rooms had ocean view and doors to outside. Pool was well maintained. Deck was spacious and accomdating.Owner/manager on property more than what we have been used to with a VRBO stay which may not be an issue for others.

Great Stay

Rob communicated well and was informative and helpful. The house was amazing and had everything we needed! We enjoyed the pool and the tide pool along with the snorkel gear, chairs and beach towels! We had a magical week and hope to return!

Winter getaway

Seven friends traveling together, getting away from the winter.Seaview play was an exceptional spot to stay in. Restaurants close by undescribable views.Lots of fun activities to do on the island.Rob was an exceptional host and was at our beck and call. I would highly recommend this house and island.

Sea View Play Stupendous

Sea View Play was an instrumental part of the grand success of our holiday trip. The photographs can never reproduce the sheer beauty of this island retreat. The sunsets from the lovely deck were phenomenal and the home was stocked full with everything needed for meals on the deck.Rob was ever responsive and so accommodating. We cannot wait to return to Sea View Play for our next family vacation on the beautiful island of St Croix.

Best vacation EVER!

Our stay at Sea View Play was incredible from start to finish. We had a large family group of 15, including six boys ranging in age from 5 to 14 and this beautiful home was just perfect for everyone. Rob, the homeowner, was super helpful and warm and welcoming. He took the time to personally show us the property and gave us some great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The beaches were amazing, the bioluminescent kayak tour was a must-do and the entire week was a dream come true. We even got a stunning rainbow! Sunrise and sunset pics from this trip will be framed, for sure and the tide pool was such a great feature for our guys. Every room in this home has a gorgeous view of the sea and a separate access door to the balcony - there isn’t a bad seat in the house! 100% would recommend this host and property to friends and really anyone who will listen to me for the next six months as I’ll probably be bragging about this trip for at least that long!!! Thanks, Rob, for sharing this wonderful place! We’ll be back for sure!

Amazing property!

We absolutely loved this property! Driving through the front gate you can’t help but feel like a celebrity. The views from every room were spectacular. All of the rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. The layout of the bedrooms is perfect for large families. The owner, Rob, and property manager, Mr. Philip, were very responsive and great to work with. We loved how stocked the house was for beach items, there were plenty of towels, pool floats, water shoes, beach chairs, and beach toys. The restaurants nearby were also amazing. Highly recommend The Landing and Spratnet for lunch and AMA’s for a fancy dinner. Cane bay beach was beautiful and very close by (2 minute drive).

Our own private Oceanside resort

Having grown up on the island of St. Croix, I wanted to bring my mother back who had not been back in 10 years and my adult children who had never visited, along with my sister and her husband - so for us this made for a large group of 10 people, plus my sister and her kids who lived on St. Croix - we knew we needed a big place that could accommodate all of us for dinner and entertainment. We looked at places for months around the island but I kept coming back to Sea View Play. From the tidal pool to the large property, to the open air common area, the beautiful pool and deck overlooking the North shore - it appeared to have everything we needed - and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Amazing online but even more amazing in person. I felt like we had our own private resort. Room for everyone to have some privacy when necessary and lots of room to hang out, play games, cook meals and enjoy the Caribbean sun and ocean. Rob, the owner - was great to work with and quick to answer all communications. When the pool pump broke - Rob was quick to dispatch a pool repaired and had the pool back up and running in less than a day. I would HIGHLY Recommend Sea View Play for anyone looking for beautiful private Caribbean vacation for family our a group of friends.

Would definitely come back

The house and location were amazing. Would definitely come back. The house could use a few upgrades especially with the ceiling fans in the living room due to one of the fans quit working due to corrosion. Needs more transparency in the listing with the tidal pool since during this time of year it could not be used since the tides were not high enough to keep the tidal pool cleaned out.

Beautiful property

We had a great stay at SVP. The property has everything you can think of spectacular views, super comfy beds, and lots of room. Our multi-generation group enjoyed our stay very much. Rob, the owner, is very responsive and he has really thought of it all! One thing to note: while the bedrooms are air-conditioned, the central part of the house is not, and in June, it got quite warm (to be expected in the Caribbean in summer), but crosswinds are hit-and-miss, and the tidal pool is not filled this time of year. This didn't deter us from a wonderful experience, it's just something to be aware of when planning for the summer months.

A few positives to start: The area was spacious. The air conditioners in the bedrooms worked well. One of the kitchens was very clean. The other one's cabinets smelled like mildew and were not clean. Having two refrigerators was nice. Now to negatives: Imagine our surprise when I walked out onto the back deck to look at the ocean and the tide pool and our greeting property manager stated" Sorry for the smell from the tide pool, it only gets fresh water when the tide is really high. It only gets high enough during certain times of the year." We booked this property based on their statement "Enjoy the benefits of our 45' by 40' tide pool that always has fresh, changing water all thanks to the waves breaking right outside the pool." This is a quote from the listing. The tide would have had to risen at least 5-6 feet to even get close to spilling into the tide pool. Instead of being an asset to the property, it was actually a stagnant bug magnet which made it impossible to sit out on the patio at night. We went to dinner at several outdoor places and spent evening hours outside without bug problems. This listing is fraudulent and the owner knows this tide pool does not get fresh water all year around. We feel so cheated that I don't even want to discuss the other problems with the property. We should be given a refund!!!! VRBO should remove this listing immediately.

Beautiful House!!!!!

The house is gorgeous with fantastic views! We definitely used the pool every day (very hot in May). Our group went to Rainbow beach which is breathtaking. We rented jet skis, went horseback riding & snorkeling at Buck Island. Overall, a terrific family vacation.

Perfect location

Beautiful, spacious home in the heart of Cane Bay. The location was perfect for exploring both the East and West ends of the island. Plus it was walking distance to multiple restaurants as well as Cane Bay Beach.

Perfect for groups!

Our group was 2 families (4 adults, 3 children under 12). The house is set up perfect for our situation: 5 bedrooms, 5+ baths, 2 kitchen areas, laundry, wrap around deck with sliding doors from each room, large living space with huge couch and dining table. The kids made good use of the pool & toys found in the exercise room. The tide pool was an exciting place to explore and practice snorkeling for the littlest of the kids. The kitchen is fully stocked; loads and loads of pool and beach towels are available; the bedroom AC works so efficiently I found myself almost too cold! We would stay again in a second and hopefully find ourselves back on St Croix soon.

Ideal Family Vacation!

Our vacation and stay at Sea View Play was amazing!! The house is perfect for families, we had plenty of room for our party of nine ranging in age from 10-70! Location is convenient and close to activities, restaurants, beaches, market. The house itself was just perfect for fun, relaxing, and family time! Loved the pool. The tide pool certainly is an amazing bonus! We had the most wonderful time! The host, Rob, was always available for questions and recommendations. Check-in was super easy! Recommend this home without reservation!
