Fabulous Accommodation walking distance to town

We had such a wonderful stay, the whole family loved utilising the walking/running track directly out the front, and the near by tidal pool! Would recommended!

Aptly named Camelot!

We loved staying at this property - so close to everything - and comfortable. A real home away from home. The only thing I would recommend is to provide extra towels. There were only one set for the week for us. I know we could have washed them - but we were on holiday! Who wants to do laundry?! Other than that, loved it!!

Kangaroo island

Camelot is a lovely home in an excellent location for exploring kangaroo island; Comfy Beds, clean linen and kitchen well appointed. Unfortunately the home had been let down by poor cleaning. The en-suite didn’t look like it had been cleaned. We cleaned the basin, shower, floor and mirror before we felt comfortable using it. The second Toilet and bathrooms floors hadn’t been washed. Very dirty. We would totally recommend this home if cleaning improved.

Wonderful stay

Home is more than comfortable, Prema is a very hospitable host & was going to accommodate us for another night if our boat home was cancelled. Communication was very good. House is in a great location, walking to everything. View from house is amazing. Thank you for a great stay.

Very spacious home.Location excellent. Loved the fire and upstairs lounge room and had the weather been better we would have loved to eat out on the deck. Only comment we felt an update of linen/towels was needed. Definitely recommend it as would be ideal for families or group of friends.

Perfect for families

This property was great for views and convenience to Kingscote shops and foreshore. Would recommend owners add quality photos to their listing as the photos currently do not do justice to the reality - I almost didn’t book this property based on the photos. Would also agree with previous reviews that an upgrade from sofa bed to actual bed in the fourth bedroom would be great, it was fine for our kids but wouldn’t be great for adults :)

KI Bowls Carnival at Camelot

We were very disappointed with the accommodation, one sofa bed was very uncomfortable, one single bed was in with a double bed pushed against the wall making it difficult. One single guest had to sleep in his swag upstairs because of the bed arrangements. Sofa beds are not appropriate for this type of accommodation and price. We were not happy about a note left in the bbq about cleaning before we had vacated the premises as we were not finished with it. The bbq utensils in the bottom draw were not clean from a previous tenant bbq! At the age of guests a bath mat in the 2nd would have been useful as the floor is slippery, no matches or fire lighters or kindling for the wood heater as the evenings were cold. I hope this is viewed as constructive criticism, not just whinging tenants . When a place is advertising 2 singles , more appropriate listings would be better.

Such a wonderful house and location

Such a beautiful location overlooking the bay around Kingscote and the house was well set up and had everything we could want. A few minutes walk into the main street of Kingscote with the cafes, pubs and restaurants. Only thing amiss for us was the lack of WIFI which just would not work and several times we had to walk to the cafe to check out opening times and book tours or meals.

The location and quality of this property made this a great place to stay for the week. It is central to all the Islands Gems and within walking distance of Kingscote shops. The fixtures and fit out are very good . Perhaps a double bed without a footboard would make it more comfortable for a taller adult.

A lovely, modern house with a wonderful view from the upstairs balcony. The property is located within an easy walk to the shops and a great location to access all that Kangaroo Island has to offer.

Great location and accommodation

Very good property and would look at staying there again if we go back over to Kangaroo Island. Only issues we had was with the front door lock and the use of the TV. There did not seem to be a remote and needed to use the switches on the TV. Quick reply from owner but did not have any follow up with the issues.

Spacious, clean, comfortable and close to amenities.

Spent 4 nights here and really enjoyed the space, comfort and convenience of this very nice house. All modern fittings throughout and a great view across the bay to enjoy with drink of choice. A short stroll into Kingscote for a meal or coffee or just a casual walk. Thanks Prema for giving us the opportunity to stay here.

Beautiful accommodation

We only had two nights on Kangaroo Island but this was a fantastic base. A beautiful well appointed house and very comfortable. Nice and close to the shops and local pubs which made the walk very easy.

Great showers, well appointed kitchen. Few things to note: if needing to stay connected there is no wifi at house, walk down street to connect to SA tourist network. Shame that no hand towel in second bathroom and bring own towels if wanting to take advantage of excellent rock swimming pool.
