We found the April’s place really cozy, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We walked to the beach and to the nearby shops. Will be staying again for sure!

The entry code that we were given was incorrect. It took over an hour to get into the unit. We called VBRO, who called the owner, who called her husband....giving us several different code combinations.. None worked! We finally asked if there was a key on site, so we could get it...yes, It was hanging off of a nail, from the ceiling, in a shed, also with a combination. We used a patio chair to climb on. One of us was holding the chair steady while the other climbed up to and get the key down. Once inside, there was no hot water. We referred to the "welcome booklet" and there were instructions as to how to turn on the the water heater. Again, that took hours. What a joke !! Would NOT recommend this place.

Husband and I had our yearly getaway and let me start off by saying we had a blast. The location was perfect. The house is beautiful and so comfy. We really would love to see what it looks like in winter. The owner was sweet, and answered all all of our questions. Easy check in N check out instructions, they provided alot of extra information for activities and prices.

Cabin was clean and neat as a pin. A perfect rental for our group of 2 couples with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Everything on one floor with a great floor plan. Communication with the owner was good. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

Great location and house for family with children

We lucked out finding this house over the winter holidays. Easy to get to from Bay Area. Close to skiing and lake. House had all the amenities we needed: great open floor plan for the kitchen and living areas, a nice gas fireplace that really heated things up quickly, comfy bedrooms, separate bathrooms for kids and adults, and all the appliances we needed (dishwasher and washer/dryer were great to have). The host was easy to contact and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy comfortable house in the woods, very close to Lake Tahoe. Good proximity to the house where the rest of our family was staying for Christmas. Loved the keyless entry and updated bright bathrooms. Owners were very accessible to answer questions, and patiently walked us through using the TV!

Great location in King’s Beach

On top of being very clean and spacious, the unit is coveniently located close to all the action in King’s Beach. Everything you could need or want to see is only a short walk away. April was a great host, providing easy check in and very communicative and flexible. Highly recommend this spot anyone wanting to see the best of Tahoe.

5-star and a bear

Clean, attractive, and thoughtfully equipped place, everything we needed. Our 40-year old son encountered a bear a few hundred feet south of the house (21 Jun 2024). This happened about 1230 am and he was in the car at the time, arriving late the first night. The bear walked away from the car and posed no threat... a highlight of the visit.

What a great stay!

It was our second time for our small family, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The property manager is very responsive and helpful. The house is clean, well stocked, and cozy with its great fireplace. When it was snowing, staying inside and watching it with fireplace going created great memories for us. Thank you! Wonderful home

Perfect location and very nicely appointed

This home is beautifully updated with everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. It was a warmer weekend for us but every room was equipped with a fan. Toiletries were provided as were some pods for the Keurig. The location was perfect. We stayed for a softball tournament and the home was centrally located for every venue. ~20 minutes to Incline village, ~20 minutes to Tahoe City (with traffic), ~ 25 minutes to Truckee passing Northstar on the way. The team had fun at Tahoe Treetop Adventures in Tahoe Vista - ~12 minutes away. And, of course, Kings beach was a short walk down the street. April was very easy to communicate with and answered all our questions in a timely fashion.
