this was a rare family gathering with sons and wives and Mama. lots of items in the kitchen, hot tub great, fireplace lovely, peace and quiet, NO skiing at this time, lots of other things available that we didn't use, close to anything that we wanted to do, beds comfortable, the new bbq was great. We would do it again! M

Wonderful home!

Beautiful Tahoe home for my family and myself! This was a special trip as we were there for my son's wedding. The kitchen and living area is huge, bright and open. We enjoyed your home very much. I would highly recommend it!

Issues with the property

The home is very nice but we had some issues. 1. The code to get into the home didn’t work so it took over 30 minutes just to open the door. 2. The tv remote did not work and we could not watch the upstairs tv. 3. The house was cold but the space heater provided did not work. 4. The coffee grinder provided did not work. 5. One of the garage door openers did not work. 6. The floor was filthy. 7. Worst of all we found a prescription kidney medication on the floor. We had babies there and they easily could have swallowed it. This drug did not belong to any of us. I have a picture of it if you would like to see it.

Outstanding place to stay!

We booked this home for my 2 sons, daughter, and son-in-law for a ski week during Christmas - could not have been better. One master upstairs with large kitchen, family room, and dining area. Downstairs has its own TV room and 3 more bedrooms - Neighborhood is great - 10 minutes from the ski lift and 5 minutes to the grocery store down the mountain. Will definitely stay again.

Needs a DEEP CLEANING

My family stayed at this property and the location was great, 6 min drive to kings beach, grocery store, restaurants etc. The house had a very nice layout and spacious for our group. The hot tub was very clean and located on the bottom floor patio overlooking the nature backyard, very peaceful. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean but the rest of the house needs a serious deep cleaning! There is pet hair on all the furniture from past guests with pets. The stairs and downstairs carpet has so many pet pee/pooh stains and doesn’t look like anyone has tried to clean it. The outdoor furniture has white fabric cushions which also has stains all over it, most likely from all the outdoor elements, again has probably never been cleaned. For what the charge is per night for this house I would expect it to be a lot cleaner. Communication with the host was ok, I had several questions prior to booking and checking in and they did respond but would take a day or two to respond.

Amazing stay, thank you!

We’re familiar with the Truckee area and we’re looking for something close to Northstar that would house our extended family with grandparents and small children. This fit the bill perfectly. The place was exactly as advertised and perhaps looks nicer in person than in the pictures. Hosts were extremely communicative and helpful, would stay here again in the future!

Great place, location

Love the layout, stove, beds, hot tub, square footage! We stayed here last year for a week as well and we love it! Being a little bit picky but it drove us all a little crazy all week and became a running joke that the upstairs living room rug was just bad quality and would roll fuzz balls all over that would cling to your clothes, socks, our kids toys etc. The downstairs bedroom across from the bunk room has a turquoise dresser that needs to be replaced. I remember the same thing last year as well and was surprised the dresser was still there but i like to unpack and not live out of a suitcase for a week. When we would open the drawer, all the drawers would open and the whole thing would fall forward.

Enjoyed our stay very much, beds were comfy and space was great for myltiple families. Bathrooms were clean and lots of towels! Could have used a few additional minutes of vacuuming prior to our arrival but we were able to make a quick pass with the vacuum in the closet. Hot tub was a huge plus.

Great Layout and Location

Great location and layout for family. Owner could upgrade on the bed linens/pillows as the primary bedroom was very basic and not very comfortable. Grill worked but missing the handle that opens the grill. Overall nice property just needs a few things upgraded and/or fixed.

Beautiful house but needed better cleaning

The property was beautiful, but it was not very clean. there was a lot of dirt on the floors. We took off our shoes in the house, as we always do, and kept stepping on soil and dirt. We had to sweep the entire floor our first night there. I would like to see if we can get some of our cleaning money back please. Otherwise everything else was fine.

Fun and spacious tahoe vibe

There are not many places that can host a large group in the comfort and style that we found here. The proximity to skiing, casinos, and other activities was wonderful, while at the same time the house had a perfect secluded cabin feeling. If you're lucky enough to stay here, you'll be happy you did.

Perfect Location

This house was great and had plenty of room and perfect for a large family! Awesome big kitchen with great dinning table. Plenty of beds and separate space for the kids to hang-out downstairs. No cell service in this area so we had to rely on facetime calling and wifi!

Incredible property, well situated!

We were lucky enough to spend two weeks in this amazing property. The house itself was quite lovely and very comfortable. In fact, my wife wanted to steal the couches when we left (but we didn't!!!!). The location is darn near perfect if you like to hike or bike - there are literally trails that start both immediately in front of and behind the cabin that can go for miles; my children and I enjoyed multiple hikes per day. The only caution I would have regarding the property is that the Verizon cellular service is very poor at this location. AT&T is fine, but VZW is not available. This wasn't a big problem at the house as it does have satellite internet but can make phone calls difficult if you are relying on a VZW phone. However, the property is well worth the disconnect! Also, we found the property managers to be responsive and extremely helpful. Would love returning in the future.
