    Nestled in the heart of Kings Beach, California, this cozy cabin offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. With 1 queen bed and 2 twins, it`s ideal for families or small groups seeking a relaxing getaway.

    Step inside and be greeted by a warm and inviting living space, complete with a fireplace and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing delicious meals, and the dining area is perfect for enjoying them together.

    But the real magic lies in the fenced backyard. Surrounded by lush greenery, it`s a private oasis where you can unwind and reconnect with nature. Imagine sipping your morning coffee on the patio, listening to the birdsong, or gathering around the fire pit for an evening of storytelling and stargazing.

    When you`re ready to explore, you`ll find yourself just moments away from the pristine shores of Lake Tahoe. Spend your days swimming, kayaking, or simply soaking up the sun on the sandy beach. In the winter, hit the slopes at one of the nearby ski resorts.

    *** Please review the House Rules & Policies before confirming your reservation. Guests are hereby instructed to mitigate their financial responsibility by purchasing `Cancel for Any Reason` trip insurance. Our cancellation policy is STRICT: maximum refund of 50% when cancellation is made 60 or fewer days in advance. Depending on the platform, an additional 4% cancellation fee may be deducted from your refund for credit card fees charged by the platform.
    Hello and welcome! We want all of our guests to enjoy their stay in Tahoe. Before confirming your reservation, please review the House Rules & Policies to ensure this property is a good fit for all guests.

    *** IMPORTANT NOTICE ***
    By proceeding with the reservation and entering the property, Guest(s) and all other persons material to the reservation acknowledge and accept the following Rules & Policies, without exception.

    01. Check-In / Check-Out Policy
    Whenever possible, we will be happy to accommodate early check-in and late check-out requests, within reason. In June, July, August, and during Holidays, this may not always be possible, but please do ask. Unauthorized late check-outs will result in a Schedule Interruption Fee of $150 per hour. The cleaning services cleaning team may not enter the property following check-out, with or without your permission, until all guests and all belongings have vacated the property.

    02. Maximum Occupancy
    The total number of Guests MAY NOT EXCEED A MAXIMUM TOTAL OF FOUR (4) PERSONS AT ANY TIME. Occupancy limitations are governed by City and County ordinances, as well as Fire Department regulations. Violations of this policy place the Property Owner’s Short Term Rental Permit at risk. Should the maximum occupancy exceed the limitations at any time during your stay, an immediate $1,500 per additional person County Ordinance Penalty Fee will be assessed, your reservation will be immediately terminated, and you will forfeit all fees paid.

    03. Pet Policy
    THIS PROPERTY IS EXEMPT FROM PERMITTING ANY ANIMAL OTHER THAN NO MORE THAN ONE (1) DOG. No cats, birds, etc., irrespective of their class as a service or support animal, due to property owner allergies. The appropriate exemption documentation is on file with the applicable booking platform.

    *** Your dog must be crated if left in the house alone for more than 10 minutes. Guests are responsible for providing the dog crate for this purpose.

    *** Barking, howling, crying, and/or other prolonged noise is prohibited at all times, and specifically while the dog is left in the house alone.

    This neighborhood and the Tahoe Community in general, are VERY sensitive to pet owners who do not pick up their pets’ waste or “leave the baggie to be picked up on the way back”. It is against the ordinances of Placer, Nevada, El Dorado, and Washoe County to leave pet waste anywhere (even in the forest). Due to the sanitary nature of our cleaning service’s responsibilities, an additional $125 pet waste removal fee will be charged if a pet waste complaint is received regarding your stay or if pet waste is found anywhere on the property.

    04. Maximum Parking
    This home allows parking for a maximum of TWO (2) vehicles at any time. Street parking is not available in this neighborhood and additionally may not be permitted by local laws. Guest(s) accept full responsibility for vehicle damage, theft, fines, or loss while on or off the property.

    05. No Smoking
    Smoking (including vaping) is not allowed anywhere on the property—inside or out. Should a violation of this policy occur, an immediate $500 remediation fee will be assessed, your reservation will be immediately terminated, and you will forfeit all fees paid.

    06. Quiet Hours
    Quiet hours are between 9 PM and 8 AM. Quiet is defined as the absence of voices, music, and other noises anywhere outside of the residence. The County Ordinance Enforcement Officers and the neighboring community are extremely sensitive to the strict enforcement of this policy. Response to a noise violation report may result in a $1,500 County Ordinance Violation Fee. In addition, should a violation of this policy occur, your reservation will be immediately terminated, and you will forfeit all fees paid.

    07. Trash & Recycling
    This is bear country. We love and respect them, and everyone must accept responsibility for keeping them alive and the property damage-free. The Lake Tahoe Community is highly sensitive about the responsible disposal of trash and any type of wildlife attractant(s). Local residents routinely report violators to the local Sheriff’s Department, without warning. Bears that enter a residence, garage, or vehicle are subject to euthanasia by the Department of Fish & Game. Please know that it is against State Law to leave any type of trash or wildlife attractant unattended. Therefore, all trash and recycling must always be securely placed inside the locked metal bear box at the end of the driveway. Overflow garbage and recycling must be taken off-site by the Guests and never left in a garage, vehicle, near a door or window, or any other unsecured outdoor location. Guests assume financial responsibility for all violations of the law. Local and State fines for improper storage and/or disposal range between $1,500 and $5,000 per occurrence. In addition, should a violation of this policy occur, your reservation will be immediately terminated, you will forfeit all fees paid, and the Property Owners will be entitled to reimbursement by the Guests for loss of revenue due to revocation of their Short Term Rental Permit.

    08. Housekeeping and Check Out Practices
    Your cleaning fees cover a standard level of service, including floors and surfaces, linen changes, and laundry processing. Unlike a hotel, this is a personal residence, and as such, the cleaning fee does not accommodate excessive or unanticipated services not typically required for a residential stay. Thank you for caring for this property as if it were your own.

    After you check out of the property, there may be a period of time before the cleaning service arrives. Our bears are very motivated by homes with accessible food and trash smells (even when the doors and windows are closed), so we kindly ask that Guests please:
    (1) Return all indoor and outdoor furniture to their original locations/positions.
    (2) Leave used beds unmade (no bedding on the floor, please).
    (3) We appreciate you collecting all dirty towels and placing them near the washing machine - we always love it when guests start the first load when they leave.
    (4) Secure all remaining trash in the bear box at the end of the driveway, ensuring the door is firmly closed and locked.
    (5) Wash all remaining dirty dishes to prevent attracting bears.

    We don’t want to put any undue pressure on Guests to do our job. We hope you understand, because when a bear breaks into a home, they are not eligible for a “second chance” or relocation option (not to mention the damage to the property).

    09. No Guarantee of Services
    Our WiFi and electricity are reliable. Although rare, unpredictable conditions may cause occasional outages (this is the Sierra Mountains). Likewise, indoor and outdoor amenities that are listed in this posting and depicted in the photos are subject to seasonal, operational, and/or functional availability. Interruptions or lack of availability of any of these services and/or amenities do not alter the terms of the Rental Agreement.

    10. Security Cameras
    There are highly visible motion-activated cameras INSIDE the residence that are pointed to the outdoors only. The cameras are indoors to protect the technology from the ice and cold temperatures that occur in this area. The cameras are a function of our bear awareness security. No personal indoor activities are recorded. If you are uncomfortable with this arrangement, please message us that you will be unplugging them so that we can turn off the alarm and set a reminder to plug them in after your check-out.

    11. Property & Property Use
    This property is for residential vacation use only. Events, commercial activities, subletting, or transferring your reservation to another party are not permitted. In the unlikely event of eviction or other actions required to enforce the Rental Agreement Rules & Policies, an hourly administrative fee of $35 per hour will be charged to the Guests.

    12. Reservations
    For weekend stays, all Friday night reservations must include the following Saturday night. Reservations that exceed twenty-nine (29) days cannot be approved prior to (1) submission of a State Applicable Residential Lease Application, to include but not be limited to written proof of income and performance of a credit check to confirm a credit score of 720 or higher, and (2) execution of a State Applicable Residential Lease Agreement.

Perfect location

Comfy 2-bedroom within walking distance of everything you want for a quick affordable stay at Tahoe.

We enjoyed our stay. The place is well equipped but might not be the place for someone who wants doors on bedrooms and a dishwasher. However, the place is cozy and was great for our Samoyed who loved the snow and enjoyed chasing squirrels in the back yard. We also had a wild visitor (a black bear on our front porch)!

Super cute cozy cabin

Cute, well equipped cabin in a great location. Really easy to take TART to Northstar and in walking distance to Kings Beach restaurants and lakeside. Just note that the bedrooms don’t have doors

We’ve stayed in King’s Beach many times over the years and the location of this property is ideal. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space which is huge compared to typical properties in the area - the backyard is fully fenced in and our dog loved the ability to scamper around freely. Between the back yard and the chairs on the porch and the upstairs balcony we were able to sit in the sunshine any time of day. The beds and linens are *amazingly* comfortable and provide a restful night’s sleep. The kitchen is small but well equipped with everything needed to prepare meals in.

Quaint cabin for holiday weekend stay

This quaint cabin was perfect for our long weekend stay with two teens. It is very close to everything in Kings Beach. Neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. The kitchen had everything I needed for meal prep and cooking. Everything in the cabin was laid out perfectly to maximize the space. Management was very responsivemaximize the space

Our stay at this sweet little cabin in King's Beach was just fine! The best part of the property is the deck and the back yard. It was perfect for our dog as well as us. The cabin was very clean and had everything you needed to enjoy a long weekend. As noted, there is no dishwasher but for three of us that did not pose a problem.Please be aware that the stairs are very narrow and steep. If anyone in your party has mobility issues this could be a problem. Also, the bathroom is on the first floor and the bedrooms are upstairs. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to anyone wanting a convenient place to stay in Kings Beach within walking distance of the Lake.
