"I was initially booked into a pet friendly accommodation however we had a last minute change which did not allow pets. I had to find somewhere for my small dog. The fire alarm battery needed replacement and I notified the company responsible for looking after the property but they didn't replace it which meant I had to remove the battery and the smoke alarm was disabled for our entire 7 night stay.
