"The rooms are clean, plenty of towels. There are four bedrooms upstairs with their own en suite bathroom. There are two other rooms upstairs with a shared bathroom all very comfortable. there is another bedroom on the main floor that looks like it was once a large dining room. "This was the perfect place for my family to use as a home base while we were staying in Port Elgin. The home was spotless, and had absolutely everything we needed - lots of towels and the kitchen had everything you could think of. Beds were comfortable! The amenities on the property were great! Mel & Rob were very helpful, accommodating and pleasant to chat with! Would love to come back again! "

"Excellent stay. Great house and location. Close to the beach, but far enough away that you are sheltered from all the beach noise. Exactly as advertised. Host super response and helpful. When we come back to Southampton again, we will definitely try to stay here."

"The property is in a brilliant location, close to the beach with lots of opportunity for walking and checking out the town. The rooms are good sized. Everything is well stocked. And Parm is a very responsive host!"

"We stayed here last year, and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the surrounding property so much, we came back again this year. The wrap around deck was fantastic for enjoying the day. Lots of movies and books to entertain you on a rainy day, and the cottage is rustic, but has everything you need. Mark is a fantastic host, keeping you updated on the area before your stay, and check in with you once you arrive to make sure you have everything you need. We will be back again next year for sure!"

"The place is really nice, great for large family gatherings, great location and nice layout. The communication with the property manager was challenging. From check-in that was clunky and after checkout they waited two weeks to return my deposit saying there was damage but not communicating what was damaged. Ultimately my the deposit was return, because there was no damage. I would encourage folks to take pictures upon leaving to ensure no damage is reported that was not your responsibility."

"This home ticked all our boxes!! Room to sleep 12, main floor bedroom and ensuite for handicapped person, easily accessible for handicapped! Everything we needed was there - lovely deck with propane fireplace. Easy ride for teens to the beach! The TV was difficult to use but we didn’t watch much TV anyhow. Hopefully we are as fortunate next year to rent such a lovely home!"
