    Description
    This property consists of 5 bedrooms sleeping 11 people
    Downstairs has three double bedrooms, a main bathroom and a kitchen/dining area with a patio leading to the terrace and beautiful landscaped gardens.
    Upstairs has a triple bedroom (three single bed) and a double bedroom, a main shower room which can also be used as the ensuite for the double bedroom.
    The main living area is up stairs with a wood burning stove.
    This beautiful living room leads onto a balcony over looking the spectacular views of the surrounding area and gardens.

    Facilities
    The kitchen is very modern and fully equipped with cooker, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, toaster, fridge, etc.
    This amazing kitchen is ideal for dining with friends and also leads out onto a large landscape patio area.
    Wi-Fi is available at the property.
    A BBQ is available on site.


    Outside
    Enjoy the outside areas with mature landscaped gardens and outdoor dining facilities.
    This property is just a 6 minute walk for Bridgetown Village.
    The popular fishing village of Kilmore Quay is only a 7 minute drive from Woodvilla lodge.
    Kilmore Quay has plenty of facilities and attractions including beaches, shops, hairdresser, seafood restaurants, sweet shop, a blue flag marina, chipper, playground.
    Rosslare Strand is only a 20 minute drive away with plenty of beautiful golden sandy beaches to choose from.
    Wexford Town is the nearest larger town and is 16km from this residence.

Fantastic family trip in Woodvilla Lodge

Such a beautiful house in a gorgeous setting. Austin & Julie are brilliant hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay here and definitely want to come back again. The house was the perfect size for 11 of us to stay in with a fab garden area (weather wasn’t the best so we couldn’t use it to the fullest but kids were so happy to see the play area out there). Close to the coast to go to the Saltees, nearby Johnstown estate is only 15 mins away and Hook Head is not too far either. We were sad to leave the house but looking forward to organising another visit in the summer

Woodvilla Lodge December 2024

We had the pleasure of spending the Christmas period at this wonderful property. The house is spacious and was more than adequate for our party of 7 adults. Before arrival we had been in contact with the owner, Austin, who was very accommodating and an absolute pleasure to deal with. On arrival we were met by Julie who gave us a fantastic welcome. We found the house well equipped, catering for all our needs. The area overall is lovely with much to do, especially for nature lovers. Both Austin and Julie met us again on departure and were again very accommodating; really a lovely couple. I highly recommend Woodvilla lodge and will definitely have it on my list should I visit the area again.

Wonderful family trip

It was a lovely property, great location. Beautiful house & gardens with lots for the children to play with and a nice outdoor eating area. Very well equipped house with good sized rooms. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

Family Holiday

We booked Woodvilla Lodge for my Grandmothers 80th Birthday celebrations. We had to rearrange our dates for the trip due to Covid but Julie and Austin were very accommodating and this was no problem. We had a fantastic time at the house, the pictures do no justice to the actual size. The bedrooms were private and beds were so comfortable. Everybody had a great sleep. The children loved playing in the garden too. The location is perfect just 2 minute drive to the local shop and chipper. We visited the beach at Kilmore Quay which was fabulous. I couldn't recommended the house more its perfect for a family getaway for all ages. Also Julie and Austin were so laid back and friendly, nothing was an issue for them. I want to say thank you for helping us to make some great family memories together.

A fabulous holiday accommodation for groups and/or families.

Woodvilla Lodge is fabulous accommodation, a spacious house suitable for groups of friends and families. The gardens provide secure area for children to play safely. The house was furnished to a high standard, spotlessly cleaned and the beds were super comfortable, we didn't want to go home! Outdoors was as good as inside, there is great garden furniture and a gas BBQ. It's a little out of the way so transport is necessary although a short walk takes you to Bridgetown. Mary Barry's restaurant is a must - the restaurant can make arrangements to collect and brings you back via flexi bus so your party can relax and enjoy a alcoholic beverage. Wexford is a great place with plenty to see and do. The beaches were spectacular . Overall a great holiday destination with superb hosts only too willing to meet your every request. We'll be back.

Wonderful property in excellent location

Family including 3 children and grandparent stayed at Woodvilla in June 2021 and nobody wanted to leave! This property is a haven of tranquility with a safe, spacious garden perfect for kids (plenty of toys, swings etc.), and easy to supervise from a luxurious and relaxing outdoor dining area with bbq etc., so everyone happy! A real holiday feel. The accommodation is great and very comfortable - spacious kitchen, lovely bedrooms, bathrooms etc. Very clean and well maintained throughout. The location of the house is fantastic - 5 mins from a gorgeous, quiet beach (Ballyhealey), short drive to Kilmore Quay, National Heritage Park, Johnstown Castle, Ballycross apple farm (and so much more that we didn't get to this time!) - all great days out for young and old, and in easy reach of the house. Yet, you're immersed in the beautiful sunny south east country side. Bridgetown village is also just a 2 min drive down the road with a good Centra and pharmacy, petrol station and a nice new playground. The hosts of the property, Austin, Julie and Laura, were very welcoming, friendly and so helpful with great knowledge of the local area - a lovely family. We are already planning a return visit - Woodvilla is a real gem.

Rest and relaxation

We had a wonderful stay in this lovingly furnished house. It is excellent for children and offers a lot of space but also rest. You can reach many sights in a short time and it is not far to different beaches. We had a great stay and Austin and Judie were great hosts. Thank you

Perfect family stay

We had a great time in Woodvilla lodge. The house is comfortable and spacious. Perfect for a large group. Caters really well for children. Garden is wonderful, children spent hours playing. Kitchen is well equipped. The soda bread and cakes were a lovely welcome. The owners were lovely too.

Family stay in Woodvilla Lodge

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Woodvilla Lodge for a family holiday. Both Austin and Julie were excellent and gave very good advice on where to go and eat locally. We were very lucky with the weather as well which was a bonus.

Beautiful home, would highly recommend

Owners extremely friendly and helpful. House was beautiful, warm, comfortable. Perfect for a few families. The only downside is the sitting room is upstairs between the bedrooms, did not bother me but other family members would have preferred the sitting room beside the kitchen. Would highly recommend.

Woodvilla is a fantasitc holiday home & location is great

Just back from a great week in Woodvilla. The house is lovely and has all the home comforts you need. The garden/grounds are amazing with lots of space for kids to play and explore. The local pub Mary Berry's has great food and offers a free shuttle service to and from. Lots to see and do in the area and only a short drive to Kilmore Quay. Austin the caretaker is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back!

Great place for large families

I had been looking for a place that could accommodate our extended family and this was perfect, brilliant outdoor area for the kids and the inside was really nice, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it, Austin and his daughter were extremely helpful and welcoming.
