I’m absolutely blown away by the hospitality and communication received from our hosts. The property was magnificent for our stay. Everything was better than advertised. I was blessed to have such an amazing home away from home. We traveled 16 hours and needed to have a good meal and full nights rest before a challenging Spartan race. On our arrival we were greeted with a very pleasant welcome surprise. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. The bedding was amazing and the bed was ever so comfortable. This was a great hub to explore the area too. I don’t leave reviews often but this was beyond a great experience. It was amazing. I travel a lot for both business and personal reasons. Over the years I’ve found that VRBO’s are NOT all the same. This was the best overall property and experience we have ever enjoyed! Bar none. Looking forward to returning and staying again next year for the next race.

Gorgeous Property/Exceptional Communication

We absolutely loved FirBear!!! The property was meticulously cared for with tastefully updated design, fun kids rooms and a luxurious master bedroom. Our hosts Holly and Dan were incredible with communication. There was never a moment when we didn’t feel welcomed. From our very clear specific instructions for check in to the check in with us after we’d arrived to make sure everything was in order…everything was handled professionally!!! The welcome goodies from Vermont were so incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. We highly recommend FirBear and are looking forward to our next stay!!!! Thank you, Holly and Dan!!!!

Perfect accommodations and location!!

Fantastic weekend stay with 2 teenage boys and family pup. Responsive owners and easy check in/out. Condo was comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. TV and internet worked well, great layout and beds were comfortable. Ideal proximity to Killington Bike Park and restaurants and the neighborhood was great for walking our dog. The ability to use The Spa was an added bonus…pool/hot tub was wonderful, friendly staff and gym was big. Would definitely return!

As Expected!

The pictures looked great online and I couldn’t wait to rent! Ms. PAC-MAN was so much fun to play!! When I arrived it was as expected, not perfect but close to it. The host left goodies and a note on the table to welcome us and would always get back to us with a speedy response anytime we had a question via the app! I would highly recommend this place, even though the ac units need to be fixed so bugs don’t get in. I am looking forward to renting this space on my next visit out there! Thank you!! Kelly

Nice property in a great location

We enjoyed a weekend stay at the condo over Presidents’ Day Weekend. The property was well-kept and had all the basic household items we needed. We got to enjoy the nearby Spa at the Woods, which was a short walk from the property. We also loved being within a few minutes of Killington ski resort and all the restaurants nearby.

Ski Trip to Killington

This was a comfortable place to stay with a secluded feel and a great location for a week of skiing. Checking in and out and communicating with the property manager was the most seamless and smooth that we’ve experienced. Excellent place to stay!

Classy Condo

Spotless and lovely little condo, very welcoming and well run by responsive owners. Out front, a quiet (in summer) circular neighborhood with tennis courts and indoor pool nearby. Forest out back of the little balcony, no grill but there is a wood burning fireplace. Big TV all set up for guests to sign in to streaming services, and the (almost) full-sized Pac-Man was a hit with the kids. Great shower, big tub. Would definitely return to FirBear!

Great family friendly place with everything you need!

Communication and check-in was seamless. Property delivered on all that was listed. No need to bring anything as all is supplied. Good location just minutes from Killington resort and centrally located for day trips anywhere in the state. Kids (5-11yr) were over the moon with the very family oriented accommodations. Awesome Spring Break!

My family of 6 (two adults, kids aged 5, 7, 9, and 11) had a BLAST! This property is ideally located not only in Killington (about 5 minutes to a lift) but right across from the pool/spa. The unit is a great location; upper unit with a nice view of the trees and it is also an end unit with nice light. The upstairs was a HUGE hit with my kids and all of the beds were really comfortable with nice linens and towels. It was very clean and it is clear that the owners put a lot of thoughtful touches into the property. It was a very relaxing, quiet place; I had looked at several other properties and I’m very glad that I picked Fir Bear. The owners were very communicative in advance of the trip and for checkout; an EXTREMELY easy process. We intend to come back and plan to stay again! Thanks for a great visit!

Terrific location being across the road from the Spa. Nothing better after a day on the slopes having free access to the pool, hot tub and sauna/steam room. Large TV screen next to a natural fireplace will cap the evening. The hosts/owners instructions were excellent and their suggestions for activities and restaurants in the area were top notch. Would not hesitate to return.

Perfect Spot in Killington

Owners were super friendly and professional. Great communication regarding the stay and tips to enjoy our trip. Property was spotless, updated beautifully and a great place to hang after a long day skiing/hiking. Enjoyed cooking a great meal, family games at the table and stretching out in front of the fire watching the huge TV. Could not recommend more! Enjoy.
