Great location, very nice house. The walk to the sound is true but couldn’t get there because it was all privately owned frontage. Had to walk further down the street to get to the sound. The only other problem we had was the WiFi wasn’t working properly at the beginning of the week, so we had a few days with no tv. I was told that the outerbanks had this problem from time to time. Overall very comfortable house, will stay again. Side note the rug in living room needs to be changed, potentially a tripping hazard.

Relax and Rewind Everyday

Lovely, well-kept property. Enjoyed having the living space on 2 floors with kitchen amenities on both floors. Gave privacy and opportunity to relax and rewind.Check-in went perfectly with correspondence giving explicity instructions and information if we needed help. . I was a little concerned about this since we have not done it before.The only suggestion I have is for handlebars in the showers. The shower floor in master bathroom was slick and a handlebar would have helped.Location was perfect for us as we traveled to other locations on the Outer Banks each day and returned here for evenings of rest.Thank you for sharing this great vacation property.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, and check-in was super easy. This was our first vacation as a whole family, and it meant so much to us to have such a cozy and welcoming space to come back to every day. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and would absolutely stay here again.

Birthday Getaway

Came down for a night for my wife’s birthday! Host was very easy to communicate with and very pleasant and friendly. The house was incredible! Beautiful inside and out with plenty of amenities. Would definitely recommend and will be staying here again!

Perfect location in Kill Devil Hills! Traveled w/husband, mother-in-law, and two kids, 11 and 16. The house was beautifully decorated and well-stocked with kitchen supplies and beach gear. Made our first trip to the Outer Banks a memorable one!

Beautiful property

Wonderful communication, good line of communication that started before I walked out the door till the moment I locked the doors to head back home. A quite location that is just far enough from the chaos of tourism that your family can bike or take a walk. Property is beautiful and having three showers makes taming the wildness of beach going manageable. If we ever decide to go back to OBX I will definitely be using this property again. Accommodation like beach necessities (cooler, chairs, umbrellas, etc) and a washer and dryer were invaluable. Highly recommend!

Great choice!

Beautiful newly constructed property with all the amenities you could need. Centrally located, 3 minute drive to the beach. Owners provide everything; bikes, chairs, towels, sheets, paper products, soap, shampoo, etc. Owners were responsive and available for questions. They were also clear about all of the processes. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great vacation

This is a great rental property. Everything you need to enjoy your time away from home. Star was very responsive to my messages. Everything brand new, super clean. We like the sound side. Best for sunset views in the evening and bike rides. Is not easy for walking to beach, but we are okay with that. Its a 3 minute car ride and beach parking is almost always available.

Beautiful house and great experience.

Lovely, brand new home. Very clean and pristine condition. Owners were great and responsive to questions. The only downside is that the house is on the Sound side, and walking to the beach really wasn’t possible (at least not with young kids) across a very busy 5-lane highway. But it was easy enough to just drive a couple minutes and park. Overall this is a great house.

Perfect home base for our beach vacation

We had a wonderful week at this house! It was incredibly clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals at home, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. The location, while off the beach, made for an easy home base for our activities. We enjoyed walking the path along the sound and were a quick bike ride to the ocean beach. We also appreciated the quiet of the neighborhood. We will return! Thanks for a great week.

We had a great stay! Hosts are wonderful and incredibly responsive. The place itself appears to be brand new, and is extremely well looked after, cleaned/sanitized, and less than a block from the sound. The bike ride to the beach is just 8 min. Highly recommend!

Sound Side Besuty

We wanted to be on the sound side and this house was perfect for us. The home was extremely clean, fresh, cozy and comfortable. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was wonderful and there were two family rooms so there was no shortage of space. The owners were great to work with and were very responsive. They included linens, towels and paper products as part of the rental. I would highly recommend this beautiful home and would love to stay here again.

Awesomeness!

This is one of those rare situations where the actual property is much better than the pictures. The house is awesome! Nicely appointed with a friendly OBX vibe, but not over the top. The location is central to all the good things to do in area, not to mention a short walk to one of the best views of a sunset over the sound! Pour a cocktail in a red cup, take a short evening walk, and enjoy the show! Very clean, and a fabulous place. We'll be back, I'm sure!

Beautiful home near the sound

We felt so fortunate to have found this property at the last minute. Quick walk to the sound for sunsets on the public gazebo. Property is beautifully decorated with lots of thoughtful touches throughout. It was so great not to have to bring anything including sheets and towels shampoos soaps or scrounge around for supplies for the coffee maker and kitchen (down to napkins paper towels dishwashing detergent etc). The downstairs could be a freestanding unit w bedroom, bath, couch w pullout sleeper ,microwave, sink, and small fridge. With supplied yoga mat and small weights, it made a great Zoom workout room. The 2nd floor open plan kitchen/LR w 65” smart TV and ample seating. Kitchen is brand new and well appointed. Each of the two bedrooms have attached bathroom. The hosts have also thoughtfully supplied cruiser bikes and a gas grill. Communication was great with hosts, and they were very understanding when we had a little mixup about our departure date. Can’t recommend them enough. Great stay.
