Enjoy Relaxing Stay in Quiet Kill Devil Hills Neighborhood

  • This beach house provides a nice getaway in a quiet area of Kill Devil Hills. It is a 2 minute walk to the Bay Drive sound side walking and biking trail. There is a 5 minute walk to the Hayman Boulevard sound pier where the best sunsets imaginable can be seen. The sound can be seen from the front porch of the house. It is a very short drive to one of many public beach accesses for enjoy a swim in the ocean.
    The home contains new upgrades from a recent remodel including countertops, plumbing, painting and all new furnishings. There is a queen size bed, full size bed and 2 separate twin size bunk beds for children.
    This home is great for a joint family vacation to enjoy the wonderful Outer Banks.

The check-in process was smooth, and everything was exactly as described. It was well stocked and had a close location to restaurants and shopping while being on a quiet street. We had a fantastic time!

My family and I had a wonderful stay here! The house was extremely clean and featured some great amenities that made the stay comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful and we enjoyed being so close to the beach. We are a family of 5 and brought our dog which was so nice! The house was spacious and the furniture was comfortable. Would absolutely recommend!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Cute, cozy beach cottage. Located on a quiet street, close to Bay Drive for the XC runners :) Straight shot to the beach, close to restaurants and shopping. The girls had a great time! Thank you.

Perfect OBX House for a Family Vacation

My family had a great time at this property. The location was ideal as we could walk to the sound side for fishing , and a short drive to the beach. We had plenty of options for eating and shopping. The house was clean and well stocked. Next time we come visit the Outer Banks we'll look for this house again.

Excellent Location

We had a great week staying at this home. The location near the sound was near a bike path and a quick walk to some beautiful sunsets. The home was clean and just as described. The communication with the host was excellent. We would definitely stay again.

Won’t let a little drizzle rain on our parade

Lovely little beach house! Very clean and actually very spacious in the common area. It rained 4/6 days we were there, so we stayed inside more than anticipated, but none the less we had a very relaxing vacation. Also, the owner was very friendly and answered any questions we had!

Beach vacation

Great little house for a quick stay at the beach. The sound was really beautiful. Too far to walk to ocean side, but if you left early enough in the morning you could find public parking for beach access. It was nice having a grill for dinner!

NICE CLASSIC OBX PROPERTY.

Stayed for 4 days for father's day. Very comfortable for 6. It would sleep more. The beds were comfortable. We had a very peaceful stay. We will be back.

Great location and quiet neighborhood

The property was wonderful for a family. There was plenty of room to spread out or spend time together. We were able to walk to the beach on the 4th of July and avoid getting caught up in traffic. The outside shower was great after the beach. The property owner checked on us after check in to make sure that everything was as expected.

First time using Vrbo

Great first time using Vrbo. Excellent communication with Daniel before, during and after our visit! The house made us feel like home away from home. The kids (4 teenagers) loved having space to relax and chill after the beach. We loved walking the short distance to the bay to watch the sunset. It's close to the beach, shopping, lighthouses and great places to eat local cuisine! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends that plan an Obx vacation!

Quick getaway

This property was so nice and just what we needed for our short getaway. Daniel was so nice and very helpful when it came to the check in and check out process. He reached out before our stay and it made the whole experience more personal. It being a pet friendly home made it even better! The couches are super comfy and was a very nice way to relax after coming back from the beach. It is also a short walk from the sound side and the sunsets are beautiful!

Nice house for family vacation

We stayed 4 nights at this OBX home. Spoke with owner Daniel on the phone before check in and he was very easy going and helpful. The house is a simple 3 bed 2 bath home that is furnished with the necessities. It fit our needs for our family of six. Only drawback is crossing over the highway to get to the beach. I would recommend this place to a friend.

Great location, friendly owner.

The property location is excellent, very short walk to the sound. Neighbors are friendly. The owner was easy to work with and very responsive. The home was tidy and all items needed and more were provided. The carpet did have an odor associated with being a pet friendly property but the home was otherwise very clean. The size and price range of the property is appealing to a single or two family group which can be a hard find!

Great beach house in a great location

We stayed in Daniel’s beach house for a long weekend. We originally had it booked the week before but due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to change dates and Daniel was very flexible with it. The house was clean, well-stocked and well-organized. Loved the location. It was walking distance to the sound and just a quarter mile drive to the public beach access. It was close to stores and restaurants. I went out for a run and the multi path trail has a great view of the sound. Would love to come back next summer!
