Eat at the Golspie Inn. Delish! And so friendly there. Golspie golf was great!Side note, DO NOT use the local ATM for exchange rate. Fee was extremely high. Ripoff! Just use your credit card. "Fisherman's Rest was exactly what we were hoping for. We needed somewhere to stay in Helmsdale while we waited to get the keys to our new property, and needed it to have internet speed fast enough that my husband (a programmer) could work. This comfortable cottage had everything we needed! The kitchen was well-equipped, and meant we didn't have to eat out 3 meals a day. (Which gets old, really quickly for me.) The bed was comfortable, as is the furniture in the living room. "

"Review for Seaview Cabins, Dunbeath We stayed at the charming Seaview Cabins, perched on the hillside overlooking the stunning Dunbeath coastline, and absolutely loved it. The cabin was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need – all within a compact and cosy space. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed. Ordering dinner was as simple as sending a text to the on-site restaurant, and before long, delicious hot pizzas, refreshing drinks, and...

"The property was nice and clean. Parking was easy, right on the property. Located right on the beach and footpath, so the ocean view was nice. The owner supplied all of the usual conveniences in the kitchen and bath. I was concerned about the Alexa device that seemed to be always listening, so we unplugged it. The radiator beside the tele was emitting an electronic signal, but I could not find the actual source. We were unable to operate the heating, so it was a little chillier than we expected....

"We had a great time at Sluice Keepers Cottage however the road can be noisy during the day but the cottage is blissfully quiet at night and that is the main thing. Lovely views over Loch Fleet with a great variety of birds to watch. The cottage is really well equipped and very comfortable. Lots of places to visit in the area and a great Sunday roast can be had at The Stags Head in Golspie with very friendly staff. The Milk and Honey cafe in Dornoch is another must for lovely food and great...
