The views from the cottage are spectacular. Along the coast, straight out the front door (heading south) is a really lovely set of cliffs that we enjoyed visiting to watch the sunrise. To the north is the bay, also picturesque. The cottage is remote, so come prepared with some provisions (we stopped in Kilrush along the way), but the kitchen is well appointed with range, oven, and coffee bar. We cooked our breakfasts at the cottage before foraging out to the Loop Head Lighthouse, the Bridges of Ross, and several other geological wonders. It’s also a pretty good place to launch for excursions that are a little further out, such as the Dingle Peninsula and the Cliffs of Moher. In all, it was a great stay and we enjoyed the secluded feel of the place! Highly recommended for really getting away!
