Wonderful property. Lot's of amenities, especially in the common room. Condiments, beach chairs, games, kayaks, even fishing pools. But must go through bedroom for bathroom and bathroom walls do not go up to ceiling, plus open high window in kitchen area to bedroom, so not much privacy if someone is sleeping on living room sofa. But other than that wonderful

Hono Suite

Beautiful slice of paradise. We stayed in the Hono Suite and had everything available to us that we could imagine. Yes, everything! Sandy beach access right out the covered patio doors with a front seat sunset view. The whales breaching, slapping their tails, and their blow spouts could be seen across the water as well as. Centrally located to get to either side of the island easily. Nearby shopping and restaurants. Easy access with gate and door codes, after I re-read the instructions for the gates. Make sure you read all the way through your instructions as I only scanned them. Thank you for supplying a wonderful place to rent. Mahalo

Paradise

Love this property’s location right on the beach and small condo set up! My only recommendation that would improve our sty more would be to limit it to no guests under 13 (right now it requires management approval I think). Towards the end of our stay one of the other four units had a child in who could be heard at times especially since the plunge pools, common kitchen area, and room walls are not the most soundproof. We had a lovely stay and would definitely come back.

Miss it already!

A+ location, staff, property! First time staying in Kihei for us, and it feels like a world away from the craziness of Ka’anapali. Such a treat to enter the gates of this beautiful estate and drive up to a beautiful home. The Times market is a 5 minute walk. The unit was clean, large, and very well equipped. We spent many hours on the lanai listening to the waves, the birds, and the breeze, and it was a great hub for exploring the central and south side of the island. The beach literally in the backyard is so convenient (unfortunately conditions were not good for swimming due to an offshore storm for half of our trip) and we went for walks most mornings. Everyone we met on the property was very friendly and helpful. We only had one minor issue that was resolved quickly. The bed and sofa (for sitting, didn’t try the pull-out) were very comfortable and the ac worked well. Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic property

It was my first time to Maui, and knew we wanted to stay in Kihei from talking to people that travel there frequently. We couldn’t have picked a better property! Right on the beach, private, and just overall a great location. The property owners were very easy to work with. Jose, which I believe was the grounds keeper, was very nice and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful Place

My husband and I really enjoyed the condo and property! It was unusual not to meet the owners and have actually no contact with them. But, everything was ready for us and we received a lovely bottle of wine, card, and treats from Charlene and Gary for our anniversary. It was a very nice gesture and we really appreciated it! Thank you so much! We chose this place because of the tranquility and quietness it mentions. Also, no children policy. We love kids but, being a teacher, some quietness was desired and was one of the choices we wanted when reserving a place. Unfortunately there were some early am screeching from a young child and bangs above us a couple days. But, that is very minor to the picturesque and charming place. We will reccomend your charming retreat to all our friends!

Magnificent Maui Vacation

Awesome private vacation home! Everything from booking to leaving was seamlessly and stress free. By far the most amazing part is the property itself, your own personal oasis. The condo is spacious & beautiful feeling like a true home away from home! If you are looking for a place to renew, retreat and rest...this is perfect and equally if you want immerse yourself into local activities, you are central to everything! We’ll definitely be booking our future trips here.

I came here for a week with my mom and we couldn’t have dreamed of a better place to stay. The view and the beach are amazing! The property, suites and common areas are immaculately maintained. The staff and owners are very welcoming and helpful. The suites are stocked with anything you could ever need. We appreciated that it offered equipment for anything you could possibly want to do at the beach....from beach chairs, to towels, life jackets, paddle boards, snorkels, frisbees, boogy boards, kayaks and more! There was a wide selection of books and DVDs to use in the library for those relaxing times. The beach in front of the property was incredible and quiet. We spotted turtles near the shore every day that we were there! If you are looking for a busier beach, they are just a short drive away. Coffee shops, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance as well. I can not say enough great things about our stay at the Aloha Aku!

The property and amenities were extraordinary

Our smoke alarm woke us at 2 am saying that there was smoke in the kitchen but there was nothing wrong. The rate we paid was higher than our original quote. It would have been great if the whirlpool had hot water. Other than that everything was beautiful, and we truly enjoyed the property.

Perfect location!

This was our first visit to Hawaii and we couldn't have had a better place to spend it. Within walking distance to everything you might need (Supermarket, restaurants, wine & beer store) and the hosts have thought of everything to make your stay the best it can possibly be. The beach was about 50 steps away across lush, soft grass. Plus you can't beat the view! We spent 10 amazing days & nights here and are already trying to figure out when we can go back. Mahalo nui, Charlene & Gary!

Amazing Maui Oasis

Aloha Aku, Char, Gary and Linda are all amazing. The location is beautiful and feels like your own private beachfront oasis. They were wonderful hosts, the rooms are very nice, and everything you need is right there. If your looking for a private Maui getaway thats still close to everything this is the perfect place!

Aloha Aku is a tranquil piece of paradise! Away from the crowds of other visitors, steps to the beach, well stocked with supplies for the beach! Generous rooms and patio... You do have to share the outdoors with ducks, frogs and turtles! We are looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful spot on the beach

The location couldn’t be better, facing into the sunset on the beach. The accommodations are very nice but showing their age. Even with a full time maintenance man for the 5 unit the place is showing its age. The breakfast consists of pre-frozen muffins and buns or cereal and refrigerated fruit. There are plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas and tons of used beach toys. The staff, like almost everyone in Maui is friendly and helpful, especially Linda. It is not a party venue which is good for an older clientele like us. Overall, for the price it is a very good place to stay.
