The staff at this place are amazing and they really made my trip. They were friendly and accommodating and even ensured that my time spent outside of the hotel was enjoyable and safe.

The decoration of the hotel very artistic, unique and it captured the African spirit. Breatfast buffet was amazing. The workers are kind and welcoming. The location is great because it it close to several restaurants, gifts shops etc... This place is excellent

Very good place to stay before and after arriving at the airport. The front desk staff, Keith and Liliana, were more than helpful. The breakfast is good and plentiful. Rooms and public areas were kept clean. No internet issues. Easy to walk to restaurants and as a single woman, I felt quite safe.

Overall a good stay at the OMX. A few drawbacks; one the walls are thin and we can hear everything. It was difficult for us to fall asleep at night because there was always someone talking on the phone outside, and we could hear the alarm clock from the room next door in the morning. Also, you need to ask for the water heater to be turned on. If you don’t, there will be hardly any hot water.

My girlfriend and me stayed in the Nest Kimi from the 6th until the 9th of August. We loved viewing the skyline of the city centre from our relaxing balcony. We had a spacious room and i can now say you also had the best mosquito net. Especially the net is very important to people coming from overseas to protect themselves against deadly mosquitoes. We’re glad to have chosen this hotel. Our spacious bedroom and bathroom made us arriving and staying in peace while in Kigali. Your welcoming and warm hearted friendly staff made us even more like the place. More particularly we get along really well with Janvier Masisi. His open and kind-hearted attitude impressed us and we could ask him whatever we want, he took great care of us and we even did a trip to the Eastern Province together we will never forget. We also reached Lake Muhazi that day and had a beautiful sunset dinner there together. The healthy and delicious breakfast made us even more satisfied and was among the best we had so far here on our East Africa trip. Offering laundry service for free is part of a good customer care and shows again that your interested in providing your guests a good stay. All in all your calm and peaceful atmosphere made me recommend your hotel to other friends as well. We also enjoyed our walk from the Nest to the city centre and the area you're located in has good lunch and dinner places to check out too.

The hotel is in a fantastic location close to KCC where I need to be. The hotel is clean and the staff are very helpful. I enjoyed my stay as they went above board to make my stay comfortable

The Nest Kimi is a good place if you are a backpacker or other independent traveler looking for a place in central Kigali. Kimihurura is a lovely neighborhood - mostly residential with some fun and nice restaurants and smaller shops close by. The Nest is much more of a guest house than a business hotel so I wound up doing more of my work stuff off site. Definitely felt safe.

Great hotel for anyone visiting Rwanda

I had an amazing time at the hotel. From the time we were picked up at the airport to the last day of our stay, I really enjoyed myself. The staff members were absolutely friendly and helpful and always helped in case I needed something or had a question regarding multiple things. I highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting Rwanda.

Lovely little place in a nice neighborhood

Only stayed for the 24 hours Covid period so limited insights into the hotel. The place is nice, rooms was big, service excellent, and Kimihurura is a lovely area with lots of green, plenty of restaurants etc.

Very good

The hotel was clean and spacious, and had what I needed for the most part. As a Westerner, I don't drink the local water anywhere in Africa. I arrived after a long flight, and they had a pitcher of local water, but I had to go out and look for my own water in shops around the hotel after traveling for 30 hours. This was the only really negative. Breakfast is outstanding!

Good place

The guesthouse is found in a very nice area and quiet area of Kigali. It is walking distance to Kigali Heights and there are plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood. Second time at the Nest. Second time I opted for the King room which I experienced as very good. I had pick-up arranged via the guest house and it has worked without problems. Staff is very helpful. Internet is somewhat erratic, as is the case in many other places, used my phone to connect.

The Nest

The nest is located in a safe neighborhood of Kigali. The room was complete with a fan and the guest house has filtered drinking water available 24/7. Breakfast was included and was quite good. They also allowed for luggage storage after checkout. Free WiFi included.
