Great area and location

We had a great time at your cottage! The check in process was so easy and you provided clear instructions/ directions for anything we would need while staying there. The cottage was as described and a nice easy walk to the beach along the bike trail. The beach was awesome- very family friendly and not crowded. Had a wonderful week and would definitely stay again! Thank you for sharing your cottage with us- and our maltipoo!

Nice Cottage Neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay on Kiawah Island. Cottage community was within a nice walk to the beautiful beach. We enjoyed being close to front gate to bike to Village area. Enjoyed eating at several yummy restaurants and played some pickleball! Thanks for letting us stay in your cottage. Communication was super easy wuth property manager before stay and we had no issues!

Perfect Place to Relax & Unwind

This was our first time staying in this lovely home. It was perfect for our family! So easy to relax and unwind. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach. We can't wait to return for another visit.

Great spot for family get together.

Only the second time we've stayed in the Sparrow Pond neighborhood. While close to the entry gate, it is a quiet neighborhood with short walk or bike to pool and beach. We enjoyed our stay with family and will come back to Kiawah again.

Relaxing vacation

Had a relaxing wonderful trip to the beach, we rented bikes and ride all over the island. Our host was very helpful and responsive about any questions we had.

Comfortable beach house

My family had a great time at this beautiful beach home in a wonderful Kiawah Island neighborhood. Everything at the home was exactly as it was described in the listing. I highly recommend this home for any family!

Perfect Thanksgiving Week

This was our second time staying here, and I loved it twice as much. It's so easy to relax & focus on family. We found everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. I look forward to booking again the next time we are able to vacation as a family.

Kiawahhhh Wonder

Our stay was spectacular. The cottage was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The entire area was so peaceful and relaxing and the people we met there were all so friendly. The entire vacation was wonderful. The area is very dog friendly. We would absolutely return!!!

Wonderful place to stay

My husband and I were extremely happy with this rental. It’s in a wonderful location, close to the beach, nice and quiet. Exceedingly clean and spacious with comfortable furniture. My husband loved the proximity to Cougar Point Golf Course, he walked over every day to practice his putting and chipping. A small issue with a slow bathroom drain was resolved immediately. Susie was wonderful to work with and is on top of everything. Always appreciate dog friendly rentals. Great three weeks all around!

Great place for a family vacation!

We were very pleased with this property! The cottage was as clean as any that we have stayed in, which is always a concern when properties allow dogs. The TV room served as a very comfortable 4th bedroom for us. The outdoor set up made it easy to comply with the "bikes out of sight" rule. We will definitely try to book this cottage again when we return to Kiawah.

Communication with the property manager was great. There was a terrible odor coming from the garbage disposal when I first arrived. She sent somebody out. Problem resolved! Evidently the renters before me had prepared seafood. Everything else was extremely clean. The only other big worry I had was underneath the house where you must park. It was very dark and in order to get any lights turned on you have to walk well into the dark carport to find a wall switch. This was a great concern to me and I hope that this matter is quickly resolved as well. Thank you!

Nice Cottage, Plenty of Space

My wife, dog and I stayed in this cottage for 2 weeks as a “work-cation.” It ticked all the boxes for us: good bed, hot shower, fast/stable internet (Xfinity), and ~7 minute walk to the beach. Some of the appliances seemed newer: fridge w/ ice and water on the door, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer. We cooked most meals in and found it had all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed. If stairs are an issue for you, there’s a lift. The cottage had way more room than we needed, but it was nice to be able to spread out. You can’t see the beach or any of Kiawah’s ponds, but the forest/shrub thicket (complete with deer) is nice and gives a secluded feel. Overall, the furnishings were beach comfortable: not brand new or the latest fashion, but comfortable and well maintained. For larger groups, furnishings are arranged so there a couple of different areas where subsets of folks could sit and chat. There’s also an outdoor deck & table on one side. The host (Susie) provided a lot of information prior to arrival and touched base with us via email after we arrived. We had no other need to contact her. We would recommend this cottage to others and would stay again. Kiawah is great, but there is construction noise on the beach (new condos), teams trimming the overgrowth, and they love their leaf blowers!

Another excellent stay at Kiawah!

This was my first time staying at Sparrow Pond, other than the use of the dock at Inlet Cove, the location is perfect for both the beach and the pool, great outdoor seating area and nice grill. Would highly recommend this to anyone!
