Best Ever

We enjoyed our stay in Kiawah for the 4th year in a row. However, this home was the very best so far! Clean! Cozy! Well loved by the owners! Convenient to beach and to Freshfields. We especially loved our bike rides all over the island. A place for everyone in the house to settle in and relax, read, play games! We hope to rent this place every year!

The perfect family friendly beach house

This house was perfect for our family! We have from 2 years old to 55 and the house fit all of our needs! We rented bikes from Alligator bikes and the beach was a quick 3 minute ride! The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend at the beach.

Terrific Rental

Family Beach trip 2024

I love this house! We have stayed here before. Unfortunately one of the A/C units stopped working the last night. They could not fix it. The oven was very difficult to read. Other than that the house was perfect..

Perfect Family Beach Vacation

My wife and I stayed with our three sons, their wives and our two young grand children. There was plenty of space in the large open kitchen and living room/dining area. Plus the bonus of the porch and deck area provided a quiet outdoor space. The large kitchen was well equipped for us to cook large family meals. It was a short walk to the beautiful Kiawah beach along a quiet bike path - a little far for the two-year-old but we rented a wagon to carry her which worked well. Sweetgrass Properties who manage this house were extremely responsive to our email questions and when we requested a broom to sweep the deck a man showed up with a broom and offered to use a leaf blower on the deck within 30 minutes - excellent service!

The Perfect House

We have been coming to Kiawah for over twenty years. When our family got too big for a condo, we began to rent houses and this one is by far the nicest ever. It was clean and welcoming, and it was perfectly configured for our family which is composed of two grandparents, four parents, and four children ages 14, 11, 5, and 1. The 11 and 14-year-olds loved having the upper floor to themselves and the baby's Pack-n-Play fit perfectly in the large walk-in closet, with parents and 5-year-old in the adjoining two bedrooms with the shared bath. The other two bedrooms were perfect for the other adults. The dining table was big enough for the whole family, and the screened-in-porch was wonderful for our community jigsaw puzzles. We cook our dinners in, so we really appreciated the well-appointed kitchen. It was nice to be so close to The Nest for breakfasts out, and the walk or bike to the beach was so close. We hope that we can keep renting this lovely home for our early summer weeks for many years.

Great getaway for multigenerational family of seven!

This house was excellent for our family of seven. The open floorplan and wide hallways were perfect for my three toddlers to run around. The only stairs in the house are a half flight to one bedroom which meant neither my little ones nor my elderly parents had to traverse stairs until we were ready to leave. Only drawback was the walk to the beach which, while easy for many was a bit much for my parents and my toddlers, but we made it work. We hope to be back next spring!

Great place and location of house

It was a great family trip and a great place to stay, even though fridge didn’t cool at all for two days we managed to cool our food and drinks with ice in coolers, 10 min walk to beach and friendly neighbors, we enjoyed our little trip.

Wedding weekend

Stayed at this property for a wedding weekend. It was a great house for our group. We had four couples, it was a rainy weekend and we had plenty of room to spread out, everyone had their own space and the open living area was good size for gathering, games, tv etc The location was convenient for our weekend events.

Beautiful home

Everything was great about this property except a few things. The shower in one of the queen bedrooms spit out at odd angles and was not really usable. There were no trash bins outside to put our trash in. Most disappointing, there were no games with the Xbox, and in fact the entire TV didn’t show regular tv. This was a huge disappointment for our kids. The listing should make clear that guests should bring their own Xbox games. However, the living area was exactly what we had hoped, the walk to the beach lovely and short, and the beds comfortable.

Great house, good location.

The house has a great layout and it worked well for our extended family. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the porch and deck too. We love the west beach area and it was a 6 minute walk to the beach.

Extremely clean home. Excellent layout for multi family groups. Lovely, clean screened in porch. Large, well-equipped kitchen. About 3-4 block walk to the beach. No beach equipment provided so be sure to bring your own or arrange rental.

We loved our stay on Green Winged Teal! The property was as described and was great for our family of 8. About 800 steps from the front door until your toes hit the sand… or a one minute bike ride.
