My family and I really enjoyed our stay. It’s a lovely home in a great location. The house was clean upon arrival and check in was very easy. And Angela was quick to respond to any questions which was great. But there were a few issues we discovered the first day. First, there was no WiFi in the guest house, which we weren’t told beforehand. This was very important to us because my sister with a baby who needs quiet to sleep (why we put them in the guest house) has a WiFi enabled baby monitor. They were able to set up a hotspot with her husbands phone but then he wasn’t able to have his phone for hours during the day while baby was sleeping. The WiFi in the main house was also very spotty. We weren’t able to receive phone calls or send texts unless we walked out on the front porch. Several other issues we had were ceiling fans not working, the jets in the master bath tub didn’t work, missing light bulbs from lamps, and not enough towels for the amount of guests upon arrival. By no means did any of this ruin the trip for us, but when you pay >7k for a week in a house, these things should be taken care of before guest arrival. I will say that Angela was quick to address any issues she was able to fix though. She sent someone out to try to fix the fan but they weren’t able to. She also sent someone to fix issues we were having with the TV and had the property manager drop off more towels. But like I said before, problems like this really shouldn’t be a problem in the first place. On the other hand, some of the things we loved about this house were the amazing bed porch swings, the abundance of board games, a fully stocked kitchen, and the ping pong table in the garage. Overall, we were happy with our stay and had a great family vacation.
