Beautiful home very close to the beach

This home was a great find! It’s immaculate, comfortable, roomy, with great beachy decor. We loved how close it was to the beach- only took a couple of minutes to walk there. That beach access point was never crowded the whole week we were there.

Fabulous house near the beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Kiawah for spring break and our stay in this house. Everything was perfect: the location next to the beach and just off Eugenia Ave, the house itself was large and clean with everything a vacationing family might need, and the property managers were communicative and responsive. Recommended.

3 Generation Trip

We had 6 people in our group. Mother, daughter, daughter trip. it was a perfect location, a very short walk to the beach that was beautiful. and house was well stocked, there is a grocery store right up the road, very convenient. We saw a few alligators right out the back yard, was fun to see them. very quite neighborhood. would stay there again.

Perfect place for Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful stay in this home for a long weekend over the Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen had everything we needed for a full Thanksgiving meal with plenty of serving pieces! We’ve been to Kiawah several times and were pleasantly surprised how close the house was to the beach. Would definitely come back!

Beachy Home

We so enjoyed our stay at this lovely home on a lagoon and within easy walking distance to a beautiful beach. Beds were comfy. Lots of space to spread out .Kitchen was fully stocked. The management staff was quick to answer any questions. The weather was great even with the blustery winds. Enjoyed exploring the island. Tea Plantation on Wadmalaw was quite interesting. Enjoyed lunch at Heron Night Park and dinner at Tomasso's. Beautiful place to relax and unwind!

Surfscouter Kiawah Island

The place was absolutely stunning the hosts were amazing. Distance to the ocean was like a minute's walk! It has everything you could possibly need for a big family of six. Will definitely book again 🤗

Splendous Stay at Surfscoter

Wonderful home with a great location! Great space, clean, well cared for, with all the accessories needed. We hope to be back to Kiawah next year and Surfscoter will be our first pick. We have come every summer for years, and this is our favorite place we have stayed.

4th July Trip

The location of this rental is fantastic. It is so close to the beach!! However a couple of things were really difficult about the rental. The second bathroom ONLY has a hand held held shower. There was NO hook to keep the shower head up and if you didn’t hold it, it would collapse. Thus showering in this bathroom was NOT enjoyable. The half bathroom has a toilet which is located directly next to the door. This made it very awkward to use. Moreover the beds were very uncomfortable ( mattress) and you may want to bring your own pillows. The kitchen appliances need updating. The freezer even leaked when you opened the door. There was even a note to watch for leaking when the door was open. Also the tv in the sunroom has spots on it when you watched it. The washer and dryer worked but were especially loud!! Lastly the master bath has a very, very high tub. It’s quite unusual and it was difficult to use at times because of the height of it. Overall I think this property needs some TLC…check the vents, they even are chipping. P.S. The property needs more bath towels. I think we were given 5.

Excellent House

This property’s location cannot be beat, you really can’t get closer to the beach entrance unless you rent an oceanfront property. The house was clean and as described. Neighborhood was beautiful. Beds were comfortable, hosts responded immediately with any questions. There were some biting gnats while we sat on the back deck, but that is to be expected with location on lagoon. We saw many birds and two different gators. We loved it and will be coming back!

Lovely, Comfortable Home

Nicely decorated, exceptionally comfortable home. Loved the views of the lagoon, hanging Spanish moss. Ducks and Egrets. Exceptionally well furnished kitchen. We hope to return.

Great location!

This house was a very short walk away from the beach, and was quite comfortable. It backs onto a lagoon with alligators, and my one suggestion would be that a gate be installed at the bottom of the stairs off the deck to reduce the chance of a gator wandering on to the deck.

Perfection!

Surfscoter had everything we could ever want! The home was cheerful and comfortable and beautifully decorated. Cabinets and light switches are labeled and the kitchen was well stocked w pots pans, dishes, appliances etc. Board games, beach towels and toys were included. The walk to the beach takes 5 min at most. We rode bikes (rented) on the beach, in the neighborhood, and to the Heron Park restaurant, The Nest. Sarah and Steven clearly understand hospitality! They provided welcome treats as well. We spotted a gator in the lagoon as well (exciting!). We would definitely come back. Thank you!
