Fine stay
We were looking for a space where we would be able to trade off skiing and watching our infant son and this place met the objective. It’s an 8 min walk to the base of keystone, which is nice. This space could use an update - everything seems like it’s 10 years old. Rugs were not the cleanest and not laying flat, coffee machine leaked, blinds broken, outlet plug non-functioning. While we turned the heat to 58, it was still very warm in the unit. Very loud hallways but thankfully folks were quiet after 10pm. Price seemed reasonable given amenities.

Great property..... as represented in VRBO. Love the underground parking garage with ski/boot storage as well. Convenient to all retail shopping and food establishments that you will need.

Clean, and easy parking, but the neighbors are another story.... one of the local residents who lives in the building tried to pick a fight with me and my husband. It was raining outside and i followed him into the garage, he was pulling in right in front of me. I didn't think it was a big deal, so i didn't roll down my Winfield and use my key code and get all wet. The guy stops right in front of me to try to make the automatic garage door come down on my new truck... and he turns around and rolls his Winfield down and starts yelling at me and I'm like "go, go... it's going to hit my truck..." and my wipers are going and i can't hear what he's saying. So just in time, he pulls forward and i get through the door and it opens again for me before it smashed my hood. So i go in and park. He gets out of his truck and walks towards us like he wants to fight me. I'm a female by the way. My husband gets out of the passenger seat and interferes and he starts yelling at him, asking if we are staying here and telling us we have to use the code and telling us he's going to call the police. We were very calm and just said sorry we didn't realize, and we will do that next time. And he walked away and went up the stairs and we used the elevator. That was problem #1. Problem#2 was people making noise upstairs like running or stomping for two nights in a row, past 11:40 on Thursday night and past 12:45 AM on Friday night. We were there for a conference and needed sleep

Keystone Gateway
Summit County Mountain Retreat took over the VRBO booking immediately after we booked. Their cancellation policy is more restrictive than VRBO and they agreed to the VRBO policies when we addressed it with them, so read the contract carefully. Summit County Mountain Retreat had great communication, check-in and check-out clearly stated, property in great condition.

Comfy and quiet
Just needed a quiet space to store our stuff and sleep and this was perfect. Fun amenities with the pool/hot tub and they have a little liquor/general store on the bottom level. Will definitely stay again.

Stellar Customer Service
Everything about this property was perfect. Breakfast downstairs at the Haywood Cafe and a quick trip to anything else we wanted. The best part was the service offered by Summit County Mountain Retreats. Between the check in packet with restaurant recommendations and the check in and check out texts with check ins in between, it was a great experience. Would come back again and again and highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights, and it worked out great. Everything worked well, and the photos & description accurately captured what the unit offered. There were ample restaurant options within walking distance, and the covered parking was a great plus. We'd stay here again.

Lacking basic maintenance
Door would not latch and lock 90% of the time. When we arrived at the property our unit was wide open door not locked I’m assuming due to the fact the door does not latch to lock 90% of the time. Needs a new can opener couldn’t open any of our can goods. Would of liked to use the fire place no switch or remote to start it anywhere in sight. Looked thru the whole unit. Reported to property and was told that was strange we heard nothing from previous renters. Unit was to warm. Thermostat was locked in at 72 degrees.

Very nice stay
This was located in a perfect spot m. So close to a lift. We went during summer time and the lift was still taking people up for hiking. Food and shopping was within walking distance.

Perfect Thanksgiving trip
This place is beautiful, clean and very well maintained…Just spent 4 nights here at this amazing location. This condo has everything you could need. The bed is beyond comfortable, the fireplace makes it extra cozy after a long day on the slopes. The hot tub and pool in the building are excellent as well! The Indoor heated garage parking is fantastic, and even has ski storage just steps from your parking spot. Our garage code didn’t work when we arrived but with a quick phone call (Sally) resolved it in minutes. I’ve had some bad experiences with management companies, in my extensive travels, but every time I’ve used Summit Cove their customer service has always been impeccable!! Can’t wait to stay here again!

Property was very nice and clean. The neighborhood was great. Ate breakfast at the cafe and had dinner at the Snake River Saloon. I recommend it highly!

NO Air Conditioning.
When we arrived for our 7-day stay we immediately noticed that the air conditioning was not working. We called that day and the management sent out a tech that told us that the condenser was shot, and management would get back to us with a fix time. That never happened. This rental came equipped with two box fans (strange for a place that was supposed to have air conditioning), so we had to make the best of it and pull in some of that cool night mountain air. BUT if you open the window the constant highway noise is deafening! Because you are right on the highway!!! So 7-days with no air conditioning in 90 degree days! Really not the best way to celebrate our son's wedding!

Great Location
We couldn’t be happier with this rental. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything we could need for our stay. The location was perfect to get to Breckinridge and other neighboring cities. We would book again in a heartbeat!

Good stay
Good location, stayed off season so not alot open but definitely still some options. Lots of trails around to hike. Easy, quick drive to Dillon, Frisco, Silverthorne, and even Breckinridge if you need to hit an oxygen bar. We didn't think about altitude sickness or nowhere having A/C units. It got pretty hot most nights but after setting up the provided fan and 2 humidifiers, it helped. Comfy bed, bathtub for soaking was great, 2 different restaurants within walking distance, coffee pot, hot plate, and toaster oven provided were super helpful.

Had everything I needed. Shuttle ride to slopes took only 3 minutes. Picks you up right in front of the building. Jacuzzi was great. Underground garage was very convenient. I’ll stay there again.

Excellent location! Older complex so the walls are paper thin, could hear everything - that would be my one complaint. The blinds didn’t have the thing to open and close them so that was kind of a bummer. Other than that, close to everything!

Awesome location, has necessities
There was a lot of mold on bottom of shower curtain. With the amount charged for cleaning, this was completely unacceptable. Not a working fireplace. Has hot plate in kitchenette. Parking garage looks super sketchy with holes in the ceiling, but easy enough to operate. Elevator didn’t work. Location is awesome! Right down the road from River Run.

Clean apartment in center of ski resort
Very nice apartment. Clean and has everything needed to enjoy a stay in the mountains. Gas fire place, little kitchenette and parking in the garage. I got good instructions on how to check-in (number code) and some follow up texts. It's close to skiing and the little resort center with shops. For a fall trip it's ok, but you have to drive to any interesting hiking trails - not far though. Kitchenette is really small. There was one hot plate that I used to cook pasta and with that all the counter space was taken. Microwave did the sauce. So don't count on really cooking, but you can prep some things for yourself.

Good for the price
Overall this condo was good for the cost. The only downside was that the air conditioner didn’t work so we opened the windows and with 6 right outside the window it was a tad noisy. You can’t hear the cars with the windows closed though. Good proximity to hikes and restaurants.

Nice room
Very thorough communication from property manager. Great convenient location with good restaurant downstairs. Concise design with frig and sink area. Parking garage downstairs makes it a great ski property. Large simply designed building gives it a Hotel-Motel feel, but overall, a good property and value.

My friend and I had a great time cozying up after a day of skiing and riding in keystone. 5 minute walk to the keystone village area for dinner. Hot tub and indoor pool was a bonus!
