Good value, but one key amenity not as described

Very nice condo for a family of five. Five minute walk to the gondola, two minutes to the village square. Clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Only complaint is that the property is advertised as coming with a ski locker. The keys provided did not work in the locker. We contacted the property manager, and he blamed the HOA. No resolution ever happened, resulting in us having to haul five pairs of skis up the stairs every day and store them in the condo, which was a hassle and took up valuable space. We asked for a discount due to the hassle, and the manager denied our request, saying it was the HOA’s problem. Left a bad taste in our mouth for an otherwise nice stay.

Long Weekend Stay

Amazing property for our weekend getaway! It’s close to the slopes for skiing and close to all the shops and restaurants. The property is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely recommend staying at this property and hope it’s available for our future getaways.

Our new home away from home

Loved this property. Check-in process was seamless even when I missed the whole description and Matt was very understanding. Plenty of space for a family of 5. You cannot beat this location. 100% I would stay again (and I've already looked).

Very satisfied

The unit worked well for our family of 8. There was a lot to do within a short distance. The kids loved the warm pool. Parking was easy. The unit was accurately advertised. Some maintenance needs made us a little nervous: shower splashguards were loose, master bathroom lower cabinet door hinges need tightened, and the toilet handle was cracked. However, the unit was great and we'd stay again.

Great location

Nice and close to everything. Spent a fair amount of time in the hot tub and pool after snowboarding. Property could use a deep clean. Some linens were new and some were really worn. Bathroom shower needs a new handle. Property manager is aware. Property manager was very prompt with getting a working coffee pot.

Great location! Easy Check in!

The location was awesome! But we immediately noticed that the fireplace didn’t work. Emailed the host. Fast response, but they weren’t sure what was wrong with it or how to fix it. Watching it snow without a fireplace should be illegal! lol :/ Day 5, we woke up to no running water. Later that afternoon we returned from 6 hours of snowboarding to find the water was working, but the hot water heater wasn’t. So…. You could either be smelly and warm, or take a 33 degree icy shower and become a human popcicle! :D

Overall good stay with a few issues

The condo was ideally located in River Run Village and was as advertised. The beds were fairly comfortable (even the pull out sofa). You really could not beat the location. The unit provided many fans which really helped since it was quite warm. It was nice that there were 3 full bathrooms. The unit is not very large, but was fine for our family. The hallway bathroom has a VERY stained toilet that really needs to be replaced. The kitchen sink faucet was very loose and almost coming off the sink. I also had to call around to find an additional parking spot for my daughter who was arriving a day after we checked in. After calling Keystone transportation, I found that I could stop at the Keystone rental office and get a parking pass for the River Run Gondola lot, but the management company was no help to me at all. I had also called the Keystone Lodge and they advised that we could also park in the lot across the street at the convention center and just provide them with our license plate number. This all could have been easily communicated to me rather than spending time calling around to figure this out myself. Aside from the items listed above, we enjoyed the condo and our trip.

Great location

Location is great. The condo is roomy and well stocked. Keypad for entry is terrific. Note that there is no free overnight parking available if your group has more than one vehicle so plan accordingly. You will need the HonkMobile app in order to pay for parking ($25 per night). This would have been helpful for us to know ahead of time. Deck is nice but we were unable to enjoy it bc it was covered in snow and ice and there was no shovel to clear it. We contacted Matt daily the first 3 days requesting the shovel but it never came. We gave up after that.

Location location location

Perfect location to mountain!! The gondola was about 100yards away but they have wagons at the resort to cart your kids skis etc if you need it & it’s not that far if you don’t happen to get a wagon. My 9 & 11yr old were able to carry their gear to the gondola one day. There’s also a ski rental shop right next door which is SUPER convenient!

Ski weekend

The location was great at Keystone River Run for a three day ski weekend. Walk to the Gondolas was easy. The Condo has new appliances however is dated including the beds and linens.

Mat, was super about responding always to any questions or concerns. We didn't get to stay at original booking since some reno was being done that wasn't expected to still be going on, but Mat put us up in another area close to River Run and appreciated his help with that!

Not all what's it's cracked up to be

I thought it was going to be nice. Doors don't lock (locks falling off). Bathtub doesn't drain (dirty). No updated amenities (ie., iPhone plug ins). For the price, not worth it!
