Keystone Anniversary

We brought the kids to Keystone for two days skiing. We had a lot of fun and the skiing was great. Accommodations were great, and the location was even better

Decent condo

Overall the lodge was nice, spacious and cozy. Check in was fairly easy but you do have to drive off property to pickup the key cards. The condo itself was a little dated and has a very musky and unpleasant odor. Beds and bedding were pretty uncomfortable but rooms were spacious. More towels would have been great but we made it work. Snow plows were going at 545am which was very loud right outside the window. That was really unfortunate! Loved the pool tables on the first floor and the close proximity to everything! We were excited to enjoy the hot tub but once we went down it was packed and the water was super foamy ever since, needless to say we had to pass that up. Overall, it was okay for the price.

The condo itself is very spacious and clean. Dishwasher needs some care. The building elevators are giving problems. At one time, both elevators stopped working. The one going to the garage is especially bad, in our one week stay, this elevator was down for three days.

All talk. No action

When we reported to management that the fireplace wasn't working, they were quick to respond and said that a maintenance person would be over within the next day. The maintenance person never showed up. We contacted them again about a day later and they said they would send someone but no one showed up again. I asked a final time and they said they weren't going to be able to fix it for me.

Great location could use a little maintenance

It was great staying in the Village for the wine and jazz Festival. The condo was clean. The primary bathroom could use updating. We were missing a screen in one window in the primary and the blinds were missing a slat. The bedding could also use some updating.

No ac. Miserable sleeping conditions for someone who prefers it cool when they sleep. Other guests were complaining about the lack of ac also. If you happen to hang out in the hallway you will be comfortable though since it has ac.

Great Morning and Evening Views

We stayed as a family of 5 and had a great time as usual. Walk to gondola and to all lunch/dinners...and each morning, the views of the mountains were spectacular as well as evening sunsets. Overlooks Dercum's ice rink and all amenities were on-site.

Keystone CO 2022 Thanksgiving Week

The property is a lovely spacious condo in a great location with nice views through all windows and good amenities including ski lockers and easy access to the River Run gondola. A huge con was the horrible property management response to equally horrible housekeeping. We found that none of the bed linen was changed for our stay. I went through my usual checks of pulling back the quilt etc. to examine the White linen and found the telltale strands of hair from different body parts on the fitted sheet, the flat sheet and the pillow covers. I took pictures and videos of what I was observing and called the number provided for property management only to be rudely hung up on after being curtly told that regular housekeeping was performed and inspected and that they will "try" to send out fresh linen. Naturally furious, I managed to find their office upstairs from the key pickup lobby a mile or so from the property and after an unpleasant exchange with the same lady who had hung up on me earlier came away with a sack of 2 linen sets she took about 10 suspicious minutes to put together somewhere in the building. Upon returning to the apartment we discovered she had given us 4 fitted sheets (no flat sheet) of which only 1 actually fit one of the beds. To top it soon became apparent that some of them were not fresh either with sighs of usage going by the multiple strands of hair on them. In contrast, to the credit of the emergency number responders they were polite and sent yet another set of linen but by then we had lost trust and decided to launder the sheets clean. Exhausted, with a 68 year old and a 9 year old in tow, we ended up purchasing a $18 bottle of Tide and using the basement laundry to wash the sheets (the coin operated detergent dispensers were also broken and swallowed a bunch of quarters without dispensing a detergent packet) I changed my mind from 3 stars to 2 stars because the evening of our arrival turned into a hellish experience between the rudeness and the errands between the office and the local store to make basic clean linen available. It did not end there however, when picking up the linen a kinder gentleman at the office informed me that 1 of 3 boilers supplying water to the property was broken and heating could be an issue and went on to provide 2 space heaters that I carried back to the apartment, not to mention that I had to adjust them more than once each night as they did not always respond to the pre-set temperature

A fun, first time to Keystone!

Our family of 7 had a great time at Buffalo Lodge in River Run Village. The only issues we had were the sofa bed (had broken) and the TV in the living room (didn’t work). I emailed management and maintenance took care of the problems within a couple of hours. It was perfect for us and so close to the shops, restaurants and gondola. We would stay again.

Location was perfect! Walk outside the condo building, all the restaurants and amenities are right there. The layout of the condo was great. Some of the furnishings are outdated and could use a little refreshing. But, overall very nice and would stay there again.

Great spring getaway

This was the perfect property for my husband, daughter and my quick qetaway. It is well-equipped and had very comfortable beds. It would be perfect location for ski in/ski out access. The covered parking was a bonus!

Buffalo Lodge at Keystone

Overall a good location at Keystone (but, can be a bit noisy on Sat nights, when people are leaving bars/restaurants, depending upon crowds - close to exit/parking lot). Still a little bit of a walk to the lifts/gondola (in ski boots...!), but OK. Furniture/fixtures/utensils getting a little worn (but normal for a rental property); spacious condo ; good facilities in building (elevators, hot tubs, parking garage, ski locker room, etc.)

Stay was great with exception of toilet

The condo was in a great location, the accommodations were as described and expected. The only problem was the master bathroom toilet was broken. The handle was broken so we had to remove the ceramic cover and manually pull the stopper up and replace it back to replace the water in the bowl. The water still ran most of the night which could be heard by us trying to sleep. We were only there for two days so it wasn't dire enough to have maintenence fix the issue, so it was just a little frustrating.
