Overall it was a good stay in Keystone.
Unfortunately I’m going to discuss areas that could have been improved.
For starters, I never received check in details and had to reach out to the property manager, Local VR, as I was boarding my plane for Denver. By the time I landed, I finally had check in details but that was after I initiated the contact.
The property was listed as ski in/ski out when in fact it is a 10 minute walk to the River Run Gondola and due to construction, you can barely see the mountain.
The closet in the bedroom was packed with stuff that made it unusable so one suitcase was unpacked in bedroom and the other in the living space.
My wife was disappointed there was no Keurig machine but did use the standard coffee maker which also had some difficulties functioning.
Lastly, the gas fire place wouldn’t light on our first night. A positive was the management company sent someone to address this the next morning and it worked for the remainder of our stay.
Positives, once we made contact with property management company, they were responsive to requests. The complex was cozy and the jacuzzi was well received after a full day of skiing. If you are looking for a true ski in property, this might not be it. If you are looking for a simple place to rest after a busy day on the slopes, you’ve got a place here.
