Review on Keystone Unit Mar 2-7

I originally submitted a review with 5 stars noted in each category. I did not wish to add comments, but since VRBO has returned my review and requested a re-write, I will say that the condo elevator to the parking garage was broken (and had apparently been broken for 3 weeks or more). We hauled our suitcases and food supplies 6 flights to our unit. The unit was in a great location and very clean although it showed wear and tear. The kitchen was adequately supplied except for no pitcher and the crock pot lid was missing the handle. None of this would prevent us from renting the unit again. The property management communication was satisfactory and they responded to the one question I had prior to our stay in a timely fashion.

Overall Great location

One of the elevators was broken the entire time. The unit itself was in good condition. Some of the window blinds were broken but overall, we were happy.

Beautiful off-season resort

Beautiful drive over Loveland pass into Keystone. Easy check in, even though they require you to pick up keys in separate location. The apartment was beautiful and clean.

Great weekend getaway

Perfect location! Steps away from the village and all the restaurants and shops. We visited during octoberfest and how great to have a place so close. The place was clean and comfortable, but could use a refresh. The furniture was well-worn and the walls could use a paint job.

Great stay in a beautiful location

This was our first time to Keystone. The condo was great- location, comfort, etc. The rental property company communication was comprehensive. We did go in the summer when it was warm. There is no A/C, so we had to leave the windows open and use a fan. Location of the unit is close to shops and dining. Overall, great experience!

Amazing spring break ski vacation with the family

Plenty of space, love the bunk bed. Kids loved it more. Kitchen well appointed. Perfect location within walking distance to gondola. Made our spring ski vacation a wonderful experience.

Location and value.

An affordable ski in / out location with parking included. Good spot even if not skiing Keystone. Pictures were representative but the unit needs a furniture and kitchen equipment upgrade. Management was non-responsive when we arrived to find our dishwasher out of service. No adjustment offered. Nice space for a group up to six.

Great For Family

We were super pleased with the location and size of the condo. Within walking distance were tons of shops, a playground, mini golf, restaurants, and a pool. It worked out great for us and we really enjoyed the weekend away!

Great location

Our stay overall at this rental was great. Spacious for everyone. Great location, the rental was sufficient for our needs. My only complaint was the unit wasn’t clean, there was dust all over fixtures and stuff on the floors at our arrival. This unit could use some TLC on sink faucets in bathroom

Spring Break

Great location for a family right in River Run area. Gondola, Restaurant’s, and Entertainment all within walking distance. Property was clean and well taken care of. While the pool access is not on the property it is a very short walk to the neighboring property. We would stay at this location again.

Great Home but Elevator was out of service!

Great home and location in Keystone. Unfortunately the elevator was out of service our whole week of staying in the rental. We arrived at almost 1am, tired of travel, to find that we had to carry heavy and oversized luggage up flights of stairs. The elevator being out of service wasn't communicated by the VRBO app nor the management company. If this was fixed I feel the experience would have been better.

Everything was fine other than the 2 elevators on site didn’t work when we arrived Thursday and still not working on Monday. Not fun when we have luggage and skis. They should have had repair people on site right away.

Location was awesome. We really enjoyed the lobby with the pool table and hot tubs. The elevator was broken from the parking garage to the floors the entire time we were there so there was quite a bit of waiting in the lobby or taking the stairs because there was only one working elevator for the entire lodge. Our unit was very spacious, but it had a funky smell to it, I’m not sure if that’s because it was over the ski locker and trash area or what, but it was definitely noticeable. Overall it was a perfect unit for us during our ski trip.

Great location. Some updates are needed. Murphy bed did not operate. Mattress in the master bedroom, king size bed is in need of a new one, hard as a rock. Kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of towels and toiletries. Living room needs updates. Dining are is excellent. Great to have a double seized bunkbed.

Family vacation and a great location for base camp.

We love River Run. The only negative thing I have to say is in regards to parents letting their 3 and 4 year olds play/destroy on the pool tables.

Summer Vacation

This was a great location. A lot of things were closed due to it being summer. I knew it didn’t have air conditioning but I under estimated how hot it would get in the condo. Box fans were provided but it was still very hot. Master bedroom mattress topper needs to be thrown out. The condo had everything we needed in the kitchen. I wouldn’t mind staying again but in the winter.
