Location and activities were great! Only complaint was with the fire alarms which were so sensitive that even simple cooking was difficult. They would go off even with steam from the microwave.

The condo was very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our family of 5 with a short walk to the River Run Gondola. Loved being right there in the middle of everything at River run. Lots of restaurants, shops, etc. It was convenient to have a locker for skis but do know that you have to keep the rest of your gear in the room. Only our skis and polls fit in the locker. We would definitely stay here again!

Great apartment with easy/quick access to the lifts. Overall, very happy with this listing, the apartment was very clean and well equipped. If I had to improve anything, i'd prefer to not have to drive to a secondary location (5min down the road) to pick up the key and parking decal. .. otherwise, highly recommended.

Wonderful Location and Property

Condo was the perfect size for our family of 4. We loved the pool tables and hot tubs just down stairs. The little Keystone Village area that is attached had everything you needed right out your back door. The view of the balcony of the mountains can't be beat! The recently added air conditioner kept us comfortable the whole stay.

Buffalo Lodge- Keystone resort

It was an exceptional property surrounded by a village that offered many amenities. There was shopping, hiking, biking, fishing, white water, rafting, and so much more. The weather was perfect and we were just between seasons so we had the place to ourselves. This was a beautiful park with responsive property management. Checking was easy check out was beautiful. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a comfortable stay.

Perfect little lodge for our family

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! After snowboarding during the day we enjoyed the pool tables, hot tubs, and the short walk to the shops and skating rink. Everything was clean and well kept.

Wonderful location for visiting the Rocky Mountains!

Buffalo Lodge was a wonderful place to stay. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We loved staying in River Run, even though we were there off season and many things were not open. It was nice and quiet. We visited Rocky Mountain National Park and Breckenridge during our stay. (Still snow on the mountains in June!)

Hair dryer in 2nd bath needs removal, smoked upon use. closet door off track, dishwasher door spring not functioning, thermostat does not seem to work-room was warm at night. Convenient location, but found only 1 rest. with menu variety.

Great location for River Run

We stayed with our 3 kids (14, 11, 8). The location is excellent for access to River Run and the gondola. We ended up using the sofa bed and it was very comfortable. That being said, the trundles are smaller/narrower than twin size (two fit under a queen bed)- one worked for my 8 year old but they were quite small for older kids. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook. Coin/credit laundry is easy to access one floor above. Views of the mountains are great from the condo and you can’t beat the location. It was very nice to have covered (heated) parking.

Nice unit, poor property management

Summit County Mountain Retreats (SCMR) advertises 'Quality First,' an untrue assessment for their property management of Buffalo Lodge #8398 at Keystone River Run. While check-in was on-time, SCMR delivered the property with multiple problems (which even surprised the maintenance staff when they came to fix a couple of the items): clogged tub drain in the Master bathroom, broken shower head found in the other bathroom tub bottom, chips/cheerios/etc in & about living room furniture, missing linens & blankets for the trundle beds, electrocution hazard for a broken lamp caught before the kids tried to turn it on, damaged wall print frame, non-functional TV port/cable connection in living room, broken Master bathroom sink stopper, multiple chipped cups & two pots with food residue, stained range surface, broken/warped oven storage compartment door, and several other smaller items. Overall, SCMR failed miserably to deliver "value" for Buffalo Lodge #8398. HOWEVER, their greed to collect fees as a short-sighted property manager was reflected in our interaction with them...it also reflects poorly on Keystone Resort and the parent Vail Corp as a result of our Customer "experience." To be clear, this was not a vacation for us due to the outsize impacts of SCMR failure for their "Quality First" lie. This was family time we will never recover but will remember with other family as well as friends & colleagues...BEWARE.

Glorious Getaway!

Great price for the location next to the ski lift, the plaza with shops/eateries on the property, and to Dillon. The property staff was there every step of the way to guide us in, with a quick easy check-in process, and to help troubleshoot once in our rental. The rental was very clean, well stocked, and with great showers! Beds were very comfortable, really appreciated the extra pillows and blankets! We would definitely come here again! My social media friends were jealous of all the pictures, so are now excited to have an affordable beautiful property to stay at on their next vacay to Colorado!

Building showing it’s age. Need for some upgrades.

Elevator issues for about 4 hours the first day. Power outage for about 4 hours later the same day. No lights in the elevator for 2 straight days. Garage door not working for several hours. They finally opened it and kept it open all night. Not very security conscious.

Wonderful Memories

Very nice property. Only problem was making the TV work. Could not figure out the three remotes. No instructions. Beds and bedding were great. Would like to know the brand of sheets. Call to find out the brand did not get answer to the sheet brand.

Beautiful, but disclose AC in summer!

We absolutely loved this property. The condo was clean and well stocked— comfortable furniture and nice bathrooms. It would have been helpful if we had known that there is no A/C on the property. I understand it doesn’t typically get very hot in the area, but had we known, we would have brought some extra things ourselves. Many of the surrounding attractions, stores, and restaurants were also not open yet for the summer (We were there June 14-16) so we do wish we had booked our trip a week later when everything was opened up. Nonetheless, we still had plenty to do (mostly hiking) and had a wonderful vacation.
