Higher Expectations for Price

The unit exterior is nice, pool was great, grounds well kept, & on a marina, but not the marina at the heart of town. Marina offers a serene backdrop and Mac's is a good place for drinks/apps.Not being familiar with the Keys, we looked at things to do. Old Town was mentioned often. "Old Town Rentals" felt misleading, it's not in that area. The convenience to dining, etc. was disappointing. Parking is a challenge and the "bikes available" were rentals (14/day). We walked 6 miles when we went to town. Distance kept us from going as often as initially planned.VRBOs typically are more service-oriented. We sent two messages, one that we'd be arriving late and the other about an issue with the trash, we had no reply to our messages. All correspondence came as automated replies. Hosts often have a binder with restaurants, suggestions, etc. Here, we found a note to ask Alexa; wasn't helpful. The units are newer, but the interior quality felt low-budget. Floors are separating, there's no insulation in the walls, you hear EVERYTHING. The beds made a ton of noise, making it hard to sleep. Towel bar was pulled from the wall, there are no closets, only a small pole with 3 hangars, toilet seat was falling off, ran out of TP, dead bugs on bedroom floors, very limited kitchen supplies, no blinds in living area. Overall, felt we overpaid for what we got. We didn't get what was expected in quality or location. I think there are better values in this price range.

Highly Recommend

The marina view was beautiful. The amenities offered are everything you could need to enjoy your stay. Management was prompt and informative with any questions I had. The pool is heated and located right in front of the marina. The unit was very clean and the property was not too far but far enough away from the major tourist attractions.

Week in Key West

Our stay was wonderful. The communication and helpfulness from the staff was top notch and very appreciated. The space was clean, quiet and had the amenities needed/as described online. Would recommend it for families or others traveling to Key West.

Perfect location

We stayed a week and enjoyed every minute! The condo is clean and recently updated with new appliances. However, there is only 1 tiny broom closet and the area rug in the living room is stained and should be replaced. It is conveniently located close to the downtown section, beaches, entertainment and restaurants. It is quiet and the pool was warm and clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location

This was our fourth trip to KW and this was by far the best location. Close enough to all the fun on Duval, but far enough away from the noise and traffic of Duval! Nice to be able to sit by the water and enjoy the view. The check in and out process was seamless. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We enjoyed this place. Away from the heart, yet close and easy to get there. Water way Right behind the property and pool right there as well. Very clean, every dish needed, everything worked, beds slept good, easy check in and check out. They get a thumbs up from me. Absolutely perfect and the best place of our three years and running, coming down for FF.

Clean, but not what was expected

Property was clean, but was lacking. Elevator didn’t work the entire time, there were holes in the pillows on the couch, a hole in the wall with wires hanging out, no curtains in the entire place with outside lights beaming in, no closets in either bedroom and the water view is 1/2 blocked by trees upstairs. It was a great location for a mile walk into town though.

Great couples get away!

Beautiful property. Only two suggestions that would be helpful and nice to have in the future . Drapes or blinds for the porch windows to add more privacy and mirrors in the bedrooms would be great to have for 2 couples to get ready when at the condo when sharing a bathroom. The condo was spectacular!

Fabulous

Location was perfect Rented scooters from Sunshine rentals “lots of props to them”. Let us store our luggage for free at their site because 10 am check was too early for our flight which I should’ve scheduled a later check out so not the owners fault. Sunshine rentals also let us keep our scooters for extra 4 hours with no charge. They also gave us a free ride to the airport. Smokey’s BBQ right down the street “Excellent” Duval street close. Seven Fishes delicious (a little expensive.” All the food was great, drinks awesome, time here “Priceless” Condo was clean with all the amenities you need. Right on the Marina and enjoyed late night drink outside on the lounge chairs looking at the bridge. Quiet and Safe neighborhood. 5-Star rating for sure and the owner allowed us an early check in which was really nice Bc we came from the snow and it was hot. Our son and his girlfriend had a fabulous time as well. Would definitely Steph rent this condo again! The Dutra’s

An opportunity to be a little gem

This place had potential to be wonderful for 2 people. It needed improvement with functionality: no closets, dresser, or mirror in the second bedroom of this one bathroom unit. No closet, but one dresser in the one bedroom, also with no mirror. No blinds in the kitchen/tv area so at 4:00 the sun is too bright to sit in there. The mattress was comfortable but on a squeaky frame. There was one mirror in the bathroom but with none in the bedrooms it was difficult for two people to get ready at the same time. More hooks would have been helpful for hanging things up. Generally speaking the place is too small for 4 people regardless (see square footage and don’t be fooled by the pictures) but with furniture placement/redesign, it would have been more comfortable/less squished with sofa too close to the wall it faces. The place was beautiful, very clean (including the floors!) and in a quiet, nice and easily accessible area to Key West. Bikes were great for getting around. The waterfront and pool were very nice, but this unit faces parking lot (no water view). Staff was very responsive. We expected a small unit to be designed to be more functional for 2 people for the price. We would go back again if things were made more comfortable/convenient. These touches were all shared directly with staff. All the other units are much larger than this particular unit, but this unit could be made really nice for two people without too much effort and expense on the part of the owners.

Great Stay in the Keys

We found this place on Vrbo. The property manager was extremely helpful and answer all questions right away. Place was very clean and good for families. Just enough distance from downtown if your not looking for the crowds. We would stay again.

Cleanest place we’ve ever stayed

This place was extremely clean and well appointed. The location is close to DT but far enough away to escape the busyness. The pool is small but was never busy. The rooftop deck is really nice with a great view of the marina. Nice having a front patio. Adding a few little things would make this place perfect, such as adding full length mirror in the hallway, adding hooks in the bathroom, hall, and bedrooms to hang clothing and towels, providing Kleenex and more toilet paper. Had to buy more toilet paper. I thought we should get a towel change. We had to get quarters to wash towels at the laundry and the dryer did not work well. Four people in one bathroom gets tight and there is no where to hang towels. Otherwise, highly recommend.

Good value but a hike to Duval

Clean, new property. No dressers or closets but otherwise well accommodated. More than a mile to Duval, but we enjoyed the trek. Great pool area. Wonderful deck - we spent the majority of our waking hours there. Only complaint was the required clean up (stripping beds, etc.) was a bit excessive, but everyone’s short on cleaning staff. Overall a very good value.

Beautiful condo

Really nice condo with a great porch. So clean. Adding another mirror in the hallway or bedrooms and towel hooks on the doors would make it better. It is about a mile from Duval but a very nice walk through lovely neighborhoods.

Nice condo, fairly clean. I think it's a bit much to ask renters to take out the garbage, strip the beds, clean out the fridge, collect towels for we did pay a $$ cleaning fee. P.S. We would have cleaned out the fridge and gathered dirty towels anyhow because we are nice people.

Great spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the property was very clean and in a good location. The ONLY items we though were missing were hooks on the back of doors, in the bathroom, in the bedrooms ect. It was hard to get clothing dry without hooks. We also could have used more clothing storage. More of an upgrade to the apartment that would be great than a complaint!
