There was a mouse that we were unable to catch. No broom to sweep up mouse droppings. There were also flying bugs in the house and very tiny ants all over the kitchen. We were only given 3 bath towels for two people for 5 days. There is no-one to speak to - no check in location; just an email with a door code. My calls to property management went unreturned. Location was excellent. Bed was comfortable. Definitely overcharged for the pests we had to deal with.

Expedia rating was 8.5 / My rating would be a 3.5 max / Majority of outlets did not work / light in BR did not work / No hot water / There is no one available to talk with, you have to leave a message and hope for a call back / There was no parking (we paid for one), after it states 1 spot available, we were told to find a spot on the street, which is not easy in KW / Cottage advertises for $113 per night and with all the fee's, it goes up to $400 a night - A bit deceptive / The only positive is it is located a 1/2 block from Duval

Omg we loved our week here!! These accommodations location.. im not gonna lie.. are impossible to locate. So remember when you visit you will miss it maybe the first couple laps around. Keep the picture in its online bio information in your mind. I slept on pull out couch. Not bad at all. My friend wanted it warm so she took the bedroom with the ac on low. Waterflow in kitchen is minimal. Shower stall is gorgeous... great shampoo just be patient for the water to warm up. Bed was fabulous i heard. Coffee maker and I were best friends. Our location was the best! 24 hr drugstore across street and grand ole Duval street was just 1 block away. Didn't try restaurant next door. Stay here. GO!!! Romantic too btw.

After booking this property in June Expedia sent me an email one week before my reservation stating that Old Town Suites could not honor my reservation. One week before the busiest week in Key West I was left trying to find a new hotel. The property wouldn’t answer the phone or return calls, I had to dispute the charges. Do yourself a favor and book with the Almond Tree Inn across the street.

I was never able to get into the property because I never heard from the property owner. They never responded to multiple phone calls, voicemails or email. I even went to the property several times and never saw anyone. I prepaid, so at this point, I do not have my money back.

Upon our arrival to the property the smart lock did not work and the door was left wide open and unlocked for anyone to enter. I texted the number that’s listed on the itinerary and let them know that the lock was not working and that the property was open. I was ok with that until more issues came up. The air conditioner can not keep the entire space at a comfortable temperature, the toilet would barely flush and we could not use it l, there was a terrible smell coming from the bathroom, and then there was the main concern which was there was no smoke detector in the unit at all. I texted the property’s number once again and told them I’d be leaving without staying the night immediately. They did not respond until noon the next day, and would not issue me a refund. It is highly unsafe and also illegal for them to not have a working smoke detector in the unit. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT book with this property.

WARNING. Dont Stay here

We checked in at 4pm on July 16 2023, we told them by 4:44 the temperature in the apartment was 85 and sent pictures. We were told it would take 40 min to cool off the whole place. After 1.5 hours they responded saying someone was coming to look at it. At 2.5 hours still no one, and it was getting warmer now 86 degrees. No one came that night we had to go somewhere else, there was 4 of us so we had to rent 2 rooms since there were no more 2 bedroom condos we could find. The Almond Tree Inn next door was extremely accomodating and helped us. They said they get guests from there quite often since the property owners/managers never answer phone call. I texted the manager and told them we needed to know by 1030am if the air would be fixed, if not we had to reserve the Inn rooms again. (We werent going to repack again), no response after texts and phone calls. We ended up rebooking at 1100. At 1230 they said it was fixed. We asked the cleaning crew to check the temps at and they were at 82 still, when they told us it was at 77. That is not a working air conditioner. They sent a pic of the temp and said its hot outside. No sh*t, why wouldnt we want a cool place to sleep then. They told us they would fully refund us immediately but still have NOT. They condo was cute if only the air worked.

Room was clean and nice. Good size room and big shower. Bed was comfy. Only issue was the door code was not working so we had to wait for housekeeping to give us key and she was late in getting room ready. Also know that parking is very limited. Only 2 spots for 4 rooms. But location could not have been better. Great spot. Would stay there again and I am clean freak.

We were traveling in Florida for 14 days and had 12 good accommodations and one disastrous one: this room number 4. We named it "Cave". Where the room got an 8 rating is a mystery to us. The bed is squeezed into a space, leaving 25 cm on the left and right. A small window, at a height that you could not see through, but not crucial, because the window was taped. The bed linen is, contrary to the promise made of cheapest materials. The bed is lika a hammock. Towels for two people we received only after written request. The air conditioning leaves one, despite earplugshardly sleep. Furnishings old and shabby. Mattresses totally worn out. We can only warn against booking!!!

It’s always fun n in Key West

Awesome unit to stay at while in Key West. A little un nerving waiting until almost last minute to get access code info. Owner should give a little more of a heads up when that information will be given. The unit was absolutely awesome. I hope I can get a reservation back there the next time I head down to Key West.

For those that don’t like seeing anyone in person this is the check-in and vacation for you! We enjoyed staying here and people didn’t bother us and we didn’t bother others. We could stay in and have time together comfortably and make some food but also go out and dine anywhere on Duval.

We stayed in the studio and it was perfect! Small kitchen with medium size fridge, microwave and a few cooking and eating utensils. Convenient, safe and walkable area. Two onsite parking spaces available on a first come basis. No office onsite so we called to get our access code text to us once room was ready for check in.

Run away!!!

While the unit was clean, there was no check-in welcome packet with WiFi information (advertised as free - where? What?). Very small, only 6” either side of bed (watch toes and legs), raised shower is hazard exiting, teeny tiny “dining” table had no chairs (chairs were way too short for tall table - see photo); decorating was haphazard; very loud noisy neighbors above and next door all hours of the night and early morning except for Sunday our last night. Called early to see if we could check in or leave our luggage somewhere and received a check in code that did not work. Tried calling for half hour in the heat outside the room before finally calling hotels.com to move. Hotels.com called with no answer and was starting to move us when we finally received help and were able to get in. Wish we had just moved!
