MAYA’S SECRET TREASURE @ DUVAL absolutely hits the mark for a Key West crash pad right on the action but with enough privacy and comfort that you actually want to come back to the house instead of staying at the bar all night. You are literally over Duval Street, which means you walk out the secret door and you are in the middle of the show: bars, restaurants, Hemingway House, everything is a few minutes on foot; I was worried it would feel like sleeping on top of a nightclub, but the noise is more “Key West soundtrack” than disaster, and being able to ditch the car and walk everywhere is worth it. The place feels more like a modern private residence than a typical vacation condo: updated interiors, quality furnishings, a proper kitchen with all the basics stocked so you’re not starting from zero, and the bedrooms and living areas are laid out smartly so a couple, small family, or friends’ trip all work without everyone being on top of each other. The private pool and rooftop balcony are the secret sauce here; you get your own little oasis right off one of the busiest streets in Key West, with morning coffee over Duval and late-night swims making the place feel like its own destination, not just a bed near the bars. Last Key runs this like a white‑glove operation: they meet you at the property, walk you through everything, handle early luggage drop and late‑flight luggage storage, and are fast when anything comes up, with communication that feels like a high-end vacation rent
