We really enjoyed our stay in Key Largo. The house was very spacious. We had 6 adults and one child age 2. There was plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked, complete with a PRO Ninja air fryer! The guards at the gate were very friendly. There is no parking at the house. We parked in the common area but on the weekend, finding a parking spot was challenging. Trucks and golf carts occupied many spaces. The outside dining area on the ground floor was wonderful. The pool water was very warm, but we still enjoyed it! Thank you for sharing this beautiful Florida Keys home with us!

Key Largo weeklong stay

I leave reviews to hopefully improve the experience for the next. With that being said I also would book this again but with these changes needed first. Sheets were laundered with scented detergent, had to wash after the first night, no wash cloths, the upstairs shower took minutes to get hot, not enough toilet paper, paper towels or towels. The cookware was subpar at best and the broken picknick table and rusted over blackstone should be removed. I didnt recall the mention of cameras in the lower areas but make sense given the setup of the community, parking is what it is and something you have to deal with. The TVs need a more turnkey one remote option and some of the tvs need a remote. The stairs will get slick as someone in our party slipped after it had rained. The balcony chairs downright sucked. Door stops behind the doors. One of my guest explained it best, commercial resorts are hospitality based and anticipate the needs of their guest to create a enjoyable experience. Most don't travel with all the little things. The view location, amenities and pretty much everything else was enjoyable and fit our needs. We do appreciate the opportunity to enjoy this rental.

Family Keys trip

Had an awesome time at this property. You really can't beat the location. Right next to the pool which was great for our family vacation (kids were there all the time). The community is very laid back, everyone was super nice. Lived watching sunsets from the hammocks right near the pool. Highly recommend, house accommodated our big group easily. Owner was very responsive and helpful as well. Would definitely book again!

Wedding trip with friends!

We stayed here for a friends wedding with a group of friends from college. The house provided plenty of room for couples, and was comfortable for everyone. Great location close to restaurants and activities. The resort is wonderful for walks in the morning and kickball if you play! We loved being able to play and have an area to walk in the mornings. With the 24/7 security the area felt very safe. We will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area! The hosts were great at communicating when needed!

Fun Girl’s Scuba Trip

The house was great! Fully stocked kitchen, bedding was nice, beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked great, plenty of outdoor area to hang scuba gear to dry, the community where the house is located is pleasant. The pool is right next door. We walked in the campground daily. It’s very safe. The owners were so quick to respond!

Wedding Trip

8 of us in town for a wedding and we had a great time at this property. The listing was accurate and we had everything we needed. The house is within a gated campground with a mix of houses, modular homes, and buses. The campground is clean and safe. The house is right next to the community pool. The food truck and water views are a one minute walk. The host was very responsive to questions. Would book again.

Wonderful House (rude manager)

Two families came together with room for 8 to coexist. The sunsets were incredible - manatees in the water - amazing pool w/fun top deck where we could see our kids fishing on one side & swimming on the other. Would stay at campground again but not here. Rating -When we arrived -the hot water & lower level lights didn't work. So at 752pm New Years Eve I texted the manager. We figured late that night that showers after traveling all day wouldn't be happening & went to bed. Fine...it was New Year's eve...we understood. At 11:48 am (after multiple texts, calls & messages on vrbo in the 16 hours) I received a call. The call started with asking for my husband because "women don't usually want to mess with breakers" I assured him I could do it & calmly proceeded. After being told he was out of town - I was asked to climb up behind the washer/dryer/cabinet set to check on the tankless water heater. In the process of doing this - I merely told him how FRUSTRATED I was to be paying a lot for a house with no hot water & not getting a call/text back quicker. He then says in a very MEAN strict tone "if you are going to be verbally abusive - I WILL hang up on you" So I proceeded to be obedient so nothing else escalated. An apology is all I needed!! "I'm so sorry we didn't get to you sooner."NONE til a basic one later on vrbo. Completely unacceptable. Never a call back- (things got fixed) just Horrible customer service to a guest who was just upset & NEVER rude.Hire new help great house

Key Largo in December

Nice lodging. Good for large groups. Comfortable and good separation for kids/parents. Roger was welcoming and explained how they are set up. The single on-demand hot water heater was not adequate for our group size. Kitchen place settings only set up for 8 or less (e.g. only 5 coffee cups, silverware, etc..) Make sure you get paper products (toilet paper, towels, etc.) and dish washer tablets on Day 1 or bring with you! Same with any spices, etc.

Calusa Spring Break

We had a group of 11 that stayed here for 5 nights. House overall was great. A few things needed: Lightbulbs burnt out in upstairs bathrooms, water pressure poor in some areas, not enough beach towels, door lock didn't always work....had to mess with it to get it to work. Rented pontoon which was fun, however the fuel gauge did not work. Otherwise, close to nice clean pool and water canal that leads to open water. Office and security people were very nice and helpful. Overall fun stay.

Great place right next to the pool. Plenty of room for the whole family

Great location in the keys. Right next to the pool. Friendly neighbors. Really good Cuban food truck, make sure you try it. Close to Publix. Front desk folks not the friendliest. Security was really nice and super helpful.

Blue House in Key Largo

We rented the house for a group of 14 for four days. When we arrived we found one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, no laundry detergent, no dishwasher detergent and no blankets in two of the bedrooms. The kitchen was very under supplied, there were not enough plates nor utensils for our group, no spices, not even salt or pepper, cooking oils, food containers, or garbage bags. We arrived on a Wednesday and all the garbage cans were full, scheduled pick up was on the day we were leaving. If these issues were addressed this place could be a solid 4 star. We did enjoy fishing in the canal, the comfy outdoor area, the pool and seeing the manatees.

Key Largo, FL House in Campground next to Pool

Our time here was 4 days - during the week thru a weekend. The house was great! It had room for our group of 10. We were in town for a wedding and it served its purpose. The house was nicely decorated and was comfortable. We used the pool a few times, but on the weekend it turned loud as we were there during spring break and it was a campground with water access for boats. Golf carts were used by almost everyone but us. Overall we enjoyed our time at this location. It was close to a grocery and other stores. We had a car and parked in front of the unit. We then headed back to the MIA airport from here. Great stay!

Perfect surprise!

The property was as advertised... such a great surprise as we were worried about location being a "campground" .. the community was great, location perfect, amenities just what we needed, very clean and spacious home. And the neighbors lovely. The host was super nice and accommodating to all my questions. Would def book again!!!

The big house

My only complaint is that the pool was unavailable and I was not notified. The owner (Roger) was great. I had a maintenance issue that he took care of right away, and a missing item was replaced immediately. The house has a lot of room but parking is lacking.

Vacation for family

Overall an excellent place to stay if you have a large group. Outside lounging area easily accommodated our group of 13. The inside living space a little tight for this large a group. Our biggest problem was insufficient outside trash cans.

Perfect stay!

We had 4 couples down for a birthday getaway and the Blue House was perfect! Everyone had enough space to relax and enjoy their time. Close proximity to the pool was a plus. Certainly would recommend this property for you Key Largo vacation!

Father's Day Fun

My family enjoyed the house. There was enough space for 12 of us and we loved that the house was right next to the pool. Roger was very responsive when we needed anything. Just note that the office closes at 5PM so make sure to arrive sooner to get your parking decal.
