We had a great time!
I'm always kinda nervous about getting a vrbo if i don't know exactly where the property is located. But this place did not disappoint. The actual unit was immaculate. The property was great. It had a point where you could go out to the ocean, it had a couple swimming pools and it had a few awesome lagoon areas where you could swim with the fish. everyone onsite was super cool. my teenage kids were able to borrow kayaks for about 15-20 minutes with no issues. I would definitely look at staying here again. We've stayed at cheeca lodge and i think i probably save a couple grand just by staying here and it was waaaay better.

Excellent location for family vacation
The unit was as described and was clean, comfortable and updated. Excellent and fast response from the host when contacted. Great location on the lagoon and the unit is near both pools. I have rented many different units over the years at Kawama and this unit ranks with the best.

Fabulous Location
The three bedrooms were beautiful and provided ample room for the three couples in our group. The condo was fabulous. We enjoyed morning and evening walks to the pier. The lagoon was bigger than we expected and the men in our group went snorkeling ans and saw fish. We drove to local beaches, did the drive to the Keys, and went kayaking in the mangroves, but would have been just as happy spending all our time at the condo . We highly recommend this VRBO

Awesome Getaway

Well Appointed Key Largo Property
We enjoyed our stay at this unit within the gated Kawama community. Everything was clean and matched the online description. They provided everything we needed for the stay like plenty of bath and beach towels, bath soaps, paper products, 2 bicycles, and pool noodles. The beds and furnishings we’re comfortable and clean. The community pools are smaller, but the sea water filled lagoon is amazing. The Kawama community is centrally located so it was a short ride to John Pennekamp. The Everglades are about an hour away and the lower keys were accessible for day trips. My only criticism is the cookware. Like most rentals, the pans were of the scratched Teflon coated variety. It’s rare to find ceramic pans in a rental unit, but if you cook a lot you may want to pack one or get one at Beall’s while you’re here. We would absolutely rent here again.

Great Place for the Price
Overall a great stay. Some maintenance is needed throughout, however it's a nice place for the price. Recommend taking a walk out past the marina to enjoy the sunset.

We enjoyed the stay very much. The house was in a safe quiet neighborhood. Plenty of utensils and toiletry items were provided. Beach and Pier were a quick 5 minute walk from the townhome, which is a great place to relax. The only minuses were the small compact bathrooms with extremely small windows. However the bedrooms had no windows at all.

AWESOME PLACE!
Absolutely loved the condo! Very clean and perfect location, the hosts were super responsive and the check-in and check-out process was very easy. As a STR owner myself it is great when you find a property that is exactly as the pictures show. We would absolutely recommend and come back again! :-)

Very enjoyable stay
It was a very nice clean and comfortable stay. There was some minor repairs that were needed but overall we would definitely come back. Bathrooms are a little small but nothing that we couldn't work around. One important thing to note is the 2 bedrooms upstairs share 1 bathroom with the 3rd bathroom being off of the kitchen. Definitely like the proximity to the ocean and the local bars and restaurants and activities.

Amazing condo and community, with a few caveats
The condo itself and the community are amazing. Having a lagoon and pool nearby was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable, the only gripe we had was the unit seemed pretty empty of smaller things like hand soap. The wifi didn't really work either but we were out and about most of the trip so that didn't bother us. All in all, a great place to stay.

Great property! The kids loved the lagoon and the fish. The pools were nice and the marina was within walking distance. We had some issues with Wifi that the host worked to resolve and even had a tech come out while we were there. However, the Wifi remained spotty during our stay. It wasn't a big issue for us. Overall we really enjoyed our stay :)

Delightful
The rental was perfect for our family of 6. The location of this property was wonderful as a home base for exploring the Everglades and Biscayne National Parks. We enjoyed kayaking and watching the fish in the lagoon which was right outside our door. The jetty within walking distance provided a picturesque view of the ocean. We were 5 minutes from a marine mammal responder center where we all enjoyed connecting with the dolphins. We were also a 10 minute drive from Captain Sterling's eco tours where we enjoyed an incredible pontoon boat tour of the mangroves and were able to see dolphins and manatees in the wild. It was a wonderful trip!

We had 3 couples stay at this property - The unit was clean and everything was as advertised. Very happy with the unit - we did not have any issues. Everything was just fine, but we would have loved more items in the kitchen (mixing bowl, enough flatware for 6 people, cookware, serving dishes,...) and in the bathroom - hooks, washcloths. All could have been cleaner, especially air vents and shower floors/corners.

Wish I could stay longer
We had a bit of a hiccup at check-in, but the owner was quick to respond and rectify the situation immediately. The condo was beautiful and comfortable and felt like a little oasis with plenty of space for everyone. My kids loved the little lagoon in front of the condo that was filled with fish. The property was centrally located and I can recommend visiting the Dolphins Plus Marine Mammal Responder just up the road.

Amazing time for a few days with family. The place was ready to go when we arrived, no issues at gate, and a perfect spot to recharge. The lagoon was a amazing. Lots of fish to watch, feed and swim with. Location was perfect; close to everything. Everything worked (as some mentioned other wise) well and simple instructions were supplied. Overall, great few days off! Next year we stay longer.

We thoroughly enjoyed this house. Our granddaughter enjoyed the complex playground and pool. We enjoyed walking around the grounds, too.The beds were comfortable. Kitchen cookware needs updating. We would have appreciated more direction on how to turn on some light switches and upstairs TV. Highly recommend dolphin experience that is on the right just before the small bridge as you go toward the house. Also the gate guard had us turn right to go the entire 1 way system when we could turn left and house was just up on the right.

review of stay
The property is older than it appears. The beach is not a true beach and misleading. There was no heated pool. the AC broke downstairs and couldn't be fixed despite the owners attempt. We did receive a credit for the issue which was nice of the owner. I would recommend to the owner to put up hooks for bath towels and put something in bathroom showers to hold soap. Provide a few more towels for guest. I will say when I pulled the linens off one of the beds the mattress pad was disgusting. The location is excellent and key largo is a nice place to visit

Good stuff!
We had an awesome time! The location and unit was perfect for our group of 8! Property was great so many amenities and great views! Stairs were definitely narrow & steep - we found them pretty slick so it may not be an ideal spot for some but worked great for our group! Guard at front gate had such a great personality and was very helpful and the owner was super accommodating for parking request! We would definitely come back- good stuff !
