Spacious RV in great campground
We enjoyed our stay in this RV with attached screen porch. Check in was easy and unit was incredibly clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of closet space and comfortable bed. Campground is well maintained and very clean. The pool is beautiful and there were plenty of chairs to relax. We enjoyed paddling the kayak in the mangroves. Hammocks by the water were great for a nap.

First RV stay
The RV was dated but well kept. Very nice screened in porch. I couldn’t get the stove top to work but the new air fryer was a welcome bonus.

Great host
We enjoyed our stay at a convenient location in Key Largo with pool and marina access. Everyone in the community was very friendly! The lodging was clean and equipped for basic cooking/grilling. In addition to the bathrooms and shower available, the community has two bathhouses that were also very clean and convenient. The same goes for the two laundry facilities. I would definitely plan to stay here again if I return to Key Largo!

A Little Slice of Heaven
We had a wonderful time at this property. Jeff was so nice and even helped us discard luggage that was damaged by the airlines. You’ll love this little retreat off the beaten path but so close to great food and attractions. All the places that Jeff recommended fulfilled our expectations. We will be back!!

Screen porch
The trailer is older but clean. Great location across from the bath house. The screen porch was great, had our coffee and drinks out there every day. Kept the no see ems off of us! Nice pool and a great place to walk or ride bikes!

Everything we needed
We enjoyed our stay in Calusa Campground. The home was as described in the listing. We found the bed comfortable. The mobile home is not new, but everything was clean and well stocked. It has new microwave and air fryer which made meals quick and easy. The air conditioning worked great. Thanks for a great stay in Key Largo!

Convenient location
We vistited for a fishing trip so we were gone most of the day and mainly utilized the propery for somewhere to sleep. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby and close to the state park. The private boat ramp was great, and we were able to park a 17ft boat on site. Quiet on weeknights but got a bit loud/busy on the weekend nights. Would recommend bringing some additional bath towels but linens and some basic items were supplied. Host was very helpful in answering all my questions and made sure everything was going well!

The property was clean and we loved biking around. There is a kayak but we were informed of a resident croc so we were afraid to launch it in the rv park. The rv was clean but needs a few repairs. We were comfortable though and the air worked great. The owner is responsive and courteous. It is a great location!

Amazing location
Very clean, well equipped. Old camper everything worked. Loved having access to the bikes and kayak. We were able to kayak with a few manatees. Everyone was very friendly including the campground staff. Host was very quick to respond to any questions. Close to groceries and shopping.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The trailer is older but in good shape. We slept well and enjoyed walks around campground. Pool was awesome and warm. We saw manatees every night. Publix foodstore was just across highway so we had meals at trailer. We went out on day trips, the location was close to many attractions. We would stay again. The movies and new sound system were great too.

We needed a place to stay in Key Largo and this was centrally located to all of the places and activities we wanted to visit. We were 10 minutes or less from so many great restaurants and excursions. The RV was in a gated community so safety was covered. There was plenty of room and everything was clean. We would stay here again for sure.

Jeff the owner was very helpful and easy to reachy to reach
The pool is closed for repairs and empty. Also the deck above pool was locked. These were 2 things that attracted us to this property. We texted Jeff picture of pool area Jeff than offered us a refund and helped us locate another mobile home in Key Largo Kampground which worked for us. Very accommodating!!

Trailer was in Good condition and owner responsive. Had a little trouble getting access code to lock box in order to get into trailer, owner responded quickly. All cooking was on outside grill. There is a additional outside burner, however that tank was out of propane. Could not cook inside as I was unable to use gas stove.

Sorry about the check in troubles, and I’m having issues with getting parts for the oven. In the meantime the outside burners are being used. There’s always an extra propane tank on the property, if I would have know it ran out I would have told you, sorry!

fun and relaxing, close to cool activities!
We loved renting this motor home! The space is roomy and fully-equipped. There is a nice breeze sitting on the screened in porch. We especially liked the two-person kayak that we used to explore the mangroves and bay (we are 95% sure we saw a manatee!). Bring your muscles though, the kayak is heavy to carry to the dock! We loved how easy access the place was to parks, food, shopping and other activities.

Very good time!
We rented a golf cart and cruised all through the camp ground. Loved the pool and the hammocks. It’s really a great spot, close to restaurants and things to do. Our place was really clean but the public facilities were kept clean too. Loved it.

Nice place!
The property was clean and well kept. It had all of the amenities we needed. It was a very nice neighborhood and everyone was very friendly. I loved being just a short walk from the canal. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location and park!
Loved the central location, close to everything. Park was nice and unit was close to pool and laundry. Unit was clean and spacious enough for the 3 of us.

A cozy place to stay in a gated community
We enjoyed our stay in this property. It was very clean, surprisingly quiet and was spacious enough for our family. It's a little dated and has a few little quirks like the door to the master bathroom doesn't latch and a couple outlets didn't work. The pool was nice, there's bath houses with additional showers, docks you can fish from, playgrounds and basketball/tennis courts. Overall it was a good value and we're glad we stayed there.

Perfect!
Enjoyed our 5 night stay. Spent time riding the bikes, lounging in the hammocks and thoroughly enjoyed the use of the kayak to watch the manatees! Jeff was easy to communicate with and promptly called me when I had a question about the kayaks!

Nice place & convenient location
The place was clean & comfortable. It had everything we needed & in a convenient location. Laundry mat is literally right across the street along with nice looking showers. We used the RV's shower since all of us are 5'4 or under so we had plenty of room. We watched the sunset down at the boat ramp with a lot of the locals & had a good time. The owner Jeff responds very quickly. Would stay here again.

Perfect!
Had a girls trip and stayed here for 4 nights. So much to do and the owners have everything there that you possibly need! Irons, coffee maker, kayaks, bikes, life jackets, AC, towels, hair dryers, fridge and freezer, coolers... and the list goes on! Easy to check in and out. Locals and visitors friendly and the pool is perfect for the hot days! Showers are super close and the screen porch is perfect to relax at night. For my first VRBO trip, I would say it was perfect. Jeff is amazing and responds quickly and is there in a flash if needed. Well maintained and very clean RV. I would definitely stay there again. The grounds are beautiful and the kayaking was awesome. great place to stay!

Perfect Place For A Stay In Key Largo
I have stayed at Calusa for at least the past 8 years and this was by far the best experience. Check in was easy. The unit was exceedingly clean and exactly as described. Perfect for our week in the Keys. Thank you!

The RV is in a nice community on the bay. Owner Jeff responded when we needed help.
The unit is a short walk to the pool and bay. It was great fun kayaking in the bay and seeing the manatees. Great sunsets seen from the shore and pool. We enjoyed our stay for the most part. The unit is also close to the laundry room and nice clean shower rooms. The kitchen is well stocked. We ate breakfast and lunch there and went out for dinner usually. The RV is older but clean. It has a nice screened in porch. It would be nicer with some more comfortable furniture for lounging and drinking coffee in the morning. Also the bed linens are pretty old and worn. Could use some new ones! Jeff had dish tv put in while we were there which is nice. The hot water heater broke while we were there so we were without hot water for a few days. Jeff had a new one put in so it should be good now. Overall the place is a good budget choice for Key Largo! We love KL!

We enjoyed our stay in this VRBO RV in Calusa Campground. It was just right for the 2 of us.
We had everything we needed to enjoy a quiet get away. This campground and RV are well taken care of and was a good overall experience on our first trip to the Florida Keys. The check in procedure was a little confusing and just wish we knew better what to expect upon arrival. But overall, a great place and great experience.

Great location
Key Largo is a favorite. Fortunately I have a sweet daughter living in the Calusa complex. Security is phenomenal and we enjoyed the "sunset" point plus viewing the manatees! Convenient to many shops and places of interest.

Very nice property!
My husband and I stayed at Jeff's home for a week. First impression was how clean it was. With the two bedrooms we had plenty of room. It was stocked with everything you would need for your stay. The screened porch was a nice addition. The property was landscaped very nice, the pool was a short walk and it to was very nice also. The bath house and laundry was right across the street. Very handy. JEFF was very easy to work with and would get back with you promptly through txt or phone. Enjoyed our experience being the first time we used vrbo.

Paradise
Our family of 4 rented this property for a week in February. It is a gated RV park with 24 hour security and has a beautiful heated swimming pool that is convenient to the RV trailer. One bathhouse and laundry is conveniently located directly across the driveway from the trailer. The trailer itself was very clean and larger than expected. The two bedrooms are located at opposite ends of the trailer and both have queen beds. The one bedroom also has a drop-down bunk bed of sorts that our younger son slept in and enjoyed very much. The master bedroom has a full bathroom including shower that was plenty big enough for us to use. The spare bedroom has its own bathroom (toilet and sink) which was great for the 4 of us. We loved being able to come in on the extremely hot days and turn on the A/C and watch a movie to get out of the blazing sun. Jeff was attentive with our needs as they arose. I would suggest that Jeff have a gate key card available as well as a key to the door in the gate in case you want to exit the park via foot. I went running along the paved trail in front of the campground so had a hard time initially exiting the park on foot-I asked another resident to let me out as she had a key and she suggested that we ask the office staff to obtain a key. Overall, a great time was had by my family and I would not hesitate to rent this place again. We felt like we were in paradise. Thank you Jeff!!

Nice Stay!
The 2 bedrooms gave me and my buddy plenty of room to enjoy our stay...the screened-in patio is a nice feature too! The community pool area is large with nice views of the bay. The only downside would be the sketchy Wi-fi connection which is obtained through Calusa, not the owner, but not really a problem for me since I have a robust data plan on smart phone.
