We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Azul. Martha decorated her condo just beautifully. The location is perfect as you walk right out your back patio and your at the pool. The golf cart is also a great perk. Take advantage of this and drive to the point out at the ocean, it's just absolutely beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Martha!

We had a wonderful experience. The house had everything we needed for our family of 8. We had the security of a gated community with the freedom to explore like it was a little private island. The house was clean and very accommodating. Host was so nice and communicated promptly anytime we needed her. We had so much fun and we are so thankful for the host and her property. Will visit again if given the opportunity.

Martha was great! Property is centrally located. Beds were comfortable. Jetty is convenient for fishing. Beware of mosquitos at dark! Would definitely do again!

The unit was clean as described in listing. Kitchen well stocked, although no dishwasher. The grounds/property were disappointing, very run down. Pools were small, main pool behind the unit was green. Not much to do on property. There was a sewage break while we were there, had a strong odor to the area. Had no water for 3-4 hours one morning. Honestly, if the unit had not been as clean as it was we would have left and found another property for our stay.

Weekend getaway

It was a great place to get away and to use for exploring the area. Kind of pricey though and not our hosts fault but the other guests staying next to us had a lot of drama with sheriff's there for hours on end and the neighbors were just messy. Had to step over trash their kids left on the stairs and glasses from their kitchen. Golf cart wasn't charged when we arrived and the downstairs tv didn't work. I am not trying to discount or discourage anyone staying here by any means as it wasn't our hosts fault.

Enjoyable experience but not “new”

We enjoyed our stay, and everything was clean and comfortable. However, potential renters should note that the two upstairs bedrooms share one small bath. There’s a second small bath downstairs - but no bedroom downstairs.There is also no dishwasher. The unit was comfortable but had a definite “worn” feel/look to it - not “new, luxury, modern,” as listed.However, with those qualifications, it is a great location for the Keys. Great restaurants nearby - and Publix is a quick drive away. I enjoyed setting up my easel on the screened in porch and painting while the guys were off fishing. The beautiful seaside spots in the listing are about a 5-minute walk away. Check-in was easy - and the host friendly and quick to respond.

Lovely getaway spot

Casa Azul is very well appointed. They have everything you need from kayaks, frisbee, requests, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella. The resort has a lovely area to enjoy the beach under private cabanas, great pools, and tennis/pickleball courts. The location is great - not too far from Miami and the rest of the keys. The best part was this place is spotless and they've kept everything in pristine condition.

Family get away

Our stay was perfect. The house had everything we needed. It was clean, well stocked with basic supplies, and more such as toys, chairs for the beach to name a few.The house was very comfortable. Martha was quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. We traveled with 2 young children who enjoyed the playground and the pool daily. It was a perfect week.

Great stay!

Check in/ out was easy. Host is very responsive. Very clean and well stocked. There was a wedding the weekend we were there so they took over the tiki hut area and played loud music the Friday and Sunday nights, so that was unfortunate. Lagoon was awesome, we bbq’d by the ocean every night (which we loved) so be sure to get charcoal as there is no gas bbq onsite. Aside from the loud wedding no complaints! I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

Had a great time!

We had a great stay! Location was great—a gated community that was surprisingly uncrowded. Great communication with the host-she responded quickly to questions and sent someone over the same day when we had a maintenance issue. The house was clean when we arrived and had plenty of towels and kitchen supplies for our use. There’s a large-size washer and dryer as well which was super convenient. The king beds were very firm; the bunk beds a bit softer. The community had tons of walking space around the lagoon, to the harbor, and down the jetty— you can see the sunset from the jetty! We really appreciated the use of the golf cart. The close pool was a decent size and there were plenty of pool chairs. The second pool was tiny. There’s a nice playground with swings for younger kiddos. What was so awesome was that the unit was one of the closest to the pool and the playground— we could walk right out our door and we were there!! A couple of FYIs- no dishwasher and not a lot of storage space in the bathrooms (but plenty in the closets). Also, the pool was unheated and freezing despite it being low 80s outside. None of these were dealbreakers.

Perfection in the Keys

Martha's home is so comfortable and has all the amenities you will need. The kitchen is wonderful to cook in and the large table perfect for our family gathering. The beds were very comfortable and the home has towels and everything you will need. The location is absolutely the best. This location has great pools, access to the ocean for boating or kayaking, and the lagoon is amazing. It has cool fish and made it fun to snorkel. The ocean front area has charcoal grills and covered picnic areas for a great evening dinner by the sea. The golf cart makes it super easy to get around. You reay won't need anything if you stay here. There is a grocery a few minutes drive away and after that just relax. The home has a screened in patio perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. Thanks, Martha, for a great vacation!

Nice place

This was our first time at Kawama. It was a fun place to stay. The lagoon was cool... lots of fish including some big tarpon. And it was nice to have the little beach and the little peninsula to fish off of. We loved having the golf cart. It was nice to have security at the gate. The area feels very safe secure and family friendly. The house itself was nice. Photos are accurate. I didn't realize there was no dishwasher and that neither bedroom has an en suite bathroom, (and the bathrooms are pretty small). But we made do without those things. The AC is very powerful! The decor was very nice. The location of the unit was excellent... close to everything. The host was responsive and helpful. Check in and check out were super easy.
