Beautiful location, comfortable home with all the amenities for a great stay. We often struggle with lacking kitchen equipment and dish/glassware at rentals. Not the case here. Great communication from the owner. Very responsive to a small issue we had with the cable TV. Gorgeous deck and we enjoyed sunsets, sunrises, and being able to bring our boat (ramp located just a few houses down at the Marina).

Great Stay

My family enjoyed our stay at this location. We were perfectly centralized for all the activities we wanted to do. The fishing was actually better from the Dock than going out to the reefs. A lot of great restaurants within a couple blocks. Thank you so much for letting us stay here.

Great stay, very relaxing and private location

Unit was well equipped with everything we needed, and we loved the shaded deck with plenty of outside seating. The new shared fingerling dock was nice and the property rear will be amazing once the rest of the hurricane damage is repaired. KCB is a nice laid back community that felt very safe, and property is walking distance to some nice restaurants. Nearby golf course wasn’t fancy but was a fun cheap way to get a few holes in. Owner was very responsive and easy to work with.

Needed Vacation

Didn't want to leave. The while family woke up about 6 every morning to take advantage of the day. Close to one of our new found loves, Bahia Honda. Kayaked and fished right off the dock. Already planning our return.

Perfect stay

This property is perfect has everything you need. It makes great use of the space and I loved the separate bedrooms as the one we’d stayed in on the same road previously you had to walk through them. Access to cabana club is great as was the beautiful patio and dock. Brad had a travel cot which Was a must for us on this trip with our baby. Great communication. Really enjoyed our stay here and hope to be back.

Great time! Great house! Great Location!

We had a great time at this property, will definitely go again in the future. 1 neighbor, water on two sides, great dock! The house was nice, plenty of room, the deck overlooked the water, great sun rises and sunsets. 2 min to the Atlantic side, Brad was great, everything was as it was described. Great place.

Wonderful In the sun!

Great place, ideal for access to upper, middle and lower keys. A short drive from places like the famous Bahia Honda state park. We hired a kayak which we launched easily with the kids and the lagoon offers loads to see. Saw rays, moray eels, nurse sharks and other small fish directly from the property edge. Excellent for boating or fishing and the wider area is superb for diving or snorkelling. Brad was a great host, very easy to deal with, super quick answering some questions I had about the local area and the place was exactly what we wanted, with all the kit you would need for an easy holiday. A great stay in a great part of the world.

You have a ghost ant problem. They like water and are very hard to get rid of. Other than that and a small problem with the AC one night, it was a great stay!

Had a wonderful week in Key Colony! The view/location of this unit could not have been better! The only small complaint I have is the queen bed is really loud when you move, so everytime my husband would move, I would wake up.. again that is a small complaint, everything else was as described, clean unit. Would stay here again!

enjoy this cottage right from the start,very clean inside and well kept up if you like to cook as well. enjoyed the sunrise each day and all the birds and fish we saw plus the boating activity and the sky ,Cabana beach club excellent, get there early to get a good seat. Nice to sit outside ,covered by an awning as well so you can get out of the sun.

What a location ! 270 Degree water view was as promised and delivered the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets . A photographer’s delight. We viewed manatees, dolphins and flying leopard rays daily. The public tennis courts were a short bike ride away. The complimentary Cabana Club with beach membership was a nice perk! Both the baths were updated and the kitchen as well and equipped with very nice appliances. Everything was VERY clean upon arrival. A portion of the dock was still under reconstruction but plenty of room on the shared dock.

Brad was very accomodating. The house was spotless and airy. Cabana Club just a minute drive from house. Nice beach, decent food and great pool. A very comfortable place to just do nothing but tan! Overall, a nice experience Would go again.

Waterfront (and side) Wonder

We absolutely loved Brad’s place, from the views of water on, yes, two sides, the rear deck that almost seemed to float over the water, to the well-equipped kitchen and clean, comfortable furnishings inside. The location is only a short hop from Key Colony Club where we were able to enjoy the pool, the restaurant and the beach on the Atlantic. Marathon is about midway down the Keys, and offers almost anything that nature lovers and serious eaters can want, whether you want to see the tiny Key deer or try every possible Cuban food on the many menus. We were sad to leave, and hope to return.

Great week in KCB

We just enjoyed a wonderful week in Key Colony Beach. First of all, another review said this rental was not good for children. This is definitely not true. My husband and I were there with our 15 month old son who is wild and into everything. He had a great time and didn't suffer any injuries that he doesn't get on a daily basis at home. We used some of the extra chairs to block off the deck steps so he could safely run around while we were outside. He loved running up and down the long hallway. There was a pack play at the house and it was great having a separate room to put him in. The location is perfect. We walked to the Cabana Club every morning and there were several restaurants to walk to at night. The Cabana Club exceeded our expectations with a nice pool, beach, and friendly staff. We rented a kayak for the week from Key Kayak. They dropped it off before we even got there and picked it up the morning we left for no additional charge. It's not a luxury house but it is exactly as described in the description and pictures. Really our only complaints would be the master bedroom bed is uncomfortable and loud, and there was no ESPN so we missed the NCAA college football championship game. Brad was very responsive before and after the booking. He took care of the couple minor issues we had immediately. We will definitely be back.
