  • Your gateway to the mountain lifestyle awaits! With two separate living spaces and a west-facing deck, you will find plenty of room to relax inside this home, nestled against Mt. Baldy on the Warm Springs side with open space. Kick back in front of the two stone fireplaces. Relax with a book or take in the partial view of the mountains. The full kitchen combines perfectly with the dining area and family room, so it's easier to enjoy a leisurely meal together.

    The bedrooms in this home are arranged for both privacy and coming together. The main bedroom with an en suite bathroom is just off the living on the main floor, separated by a door for privacy. One of the guest bedrooms features a view of the backyard. The two bathrooms include Carrara marble countertops.

    Sun Valley is just three and a half miles from this home, perfect for guests who want to be close to the mountain but enjoy the tranquility of a neighborhood. Dollar Mountain is just over four miles away if you want a different mountain experience. For those that brought clubs instead of skis, Sun Valley Golf Course lies just under four miles away. More locally, enjoy trout fishing and various hot springs based along the Wood River.

A little hard to find the first day because Google Maps gave me wrong location. Use Waze. As far as the place, it's nice and peaceful. Everything in this town is 10 minutes to every thing else. Only 1 bedrom is on the main floor, the rest are in the basement without windows. We had people staying in them no problem.I love the detailed booklet and the labeled everything... from light switches to where to find the wine opener.PS - Do NOT exceed the speed limit. There are cops everywhere and they ticket at 10 over the limit.

AWESOMENESS

The home was clean, spacious and very accommodating. The bathrooms were updated, kitchen equipped with plenty of cookware and the layout is awesome. Nothing fancy just a good old-fashioned solid resort home located on a cul-de-sac with no traffic at all. We will look to rent here again on the next ski trip to Sun Valley!!

Sun Valley Ski base

Booked for first time visit to Sun Valley knowing little about the area. As it turns out, this was a great location for our group of friends for a ski week. Location was within a 3 minute drive to parking area for Warm Springs Day Lodge and lifts that take you directly to the top. Restaurants and shopping a few minutes down the street in Ketchum. Rental was spacious and provided 4 separate bedrooms. House was adequately equipped for our stay.

We will be back!

Property was clean and conveniently located. Description of listing is accurate. Main floor has master and master bath right off living area. Would be nice to have a 1/2 bath on main level so everyone has an additional bathroom without using master. Lower level has three bedrooms and 1.5 baths with additional den area. This is perfect for a large family vacation. Washer needs to be serviced. We would have to restart a couple of times. It would be nice to have TV’s in bedrooms in basement. Overall, excellent vacation and place to stay. We felt like we were in our home away from home. It’s a cozy home and what has been updated is a nice addition. We would definitely stay here again and loved Sun Valley.

Not everything goes as planned

We were informed many times via email and text that our rental home would be ready at 4:00 PM on Thursday February 8th. I checked in via a text to Vacasa at 9:00 AM on the day of our check in to learn if we could obtain an early checking say 1:00 or 2:00 PM but we were again informed that our home would be ready at 4:00 PM; no problem at all as we knew the rules well in advance! When we arrived at 3:51 PM our home was not cleaned, beds not made, dirty towels on the floor, dirty dishes in the sink. So there I am with 5 other people having to call Vacasa to see how to remedy the problem. I spoke with Carlos C and he connected me with Nikki the Local Property manager. Nikki had a crew at the home by 5:00 PM who managed to clean the entire home by 7:15 PM. Just a bummer that Vacasa sent us so many communications that our home would be ready at 4:00 PM and then after our 8 hour drive only to find it a mess. So we went and hung out until we could enter, unpack, etc at 7:30 PM. Missed our dinner reservations and Vacasa credited us our cleaning deposit but the evening was shot. Not super excited to rent from Vacasa again concerned that this will happen again!!!

This house was a great disappointment. A stench pervaded the place. It is a very old house that hasn’t been updated. Bedding had been left in washer, which didn’t help the smell. We left 3 days early, with our faces puffy from allergies to mold.

Quiet and spacious

The location is close to the bus stop, nice yard for the kids and felt private. Well stocked kitchen and linens. Management was a bit slow to respond but did respond (wasn’t an emergency). Would absolutely stay again.

Need heating fixed

Location is great close to ski and sledding slops. and is set up for a large family gathering. The house has cold zones and hot zones. The master bed room is freezing cold. Need to wear long johns to bed. The bed rooms down satires are to hot to sleep with covers wearing t and shorts. The living area also can get very cold. This made the house uncomfortable to stay in.

Wonderful house, very clean, updated and comfortable... 2 rock fireplaces, new carrera bathroom countertops, 2 mountain bikes ... indoor heated parking garage for 1 car. ... kitchen great. . .. outdoor decks with chairs. wildflower patches. very peaceful end of cul de sac.. My family loved this place.. .. hope to come back soon.

Loved our stay here

We stayed here for 10 days with our kids and in laws. The house was big enough for everyone to have their own space. The house is tucked away at the end of the street. The location was very close to town. Our recommend this house!!

One major problem air conditioner 77-78 degrees until about 3:30 in am. This was rough in summer when we came back from hike.

Perfect in every way!

What a great vacation home! Comfortable, clean, spacious and wonderful location. The bedrooms are nice and bathrooms are updated. Downstairs bonus room with TV and fireplace was an extra added plus! It was nice having a garage to park in. We’ll definitely be back!
