We were told we could get 2 beds in a room. We showed up with 5 people for two rooms. Poor kids had to sleep on the floor!

Staff was excellent, very helpful, polite. Nice kiddos. Provided U.S. transportation. Rooms need updated. Shower curtain had mold on it. Need coffee cups, paper is fine. No fan, air conditioner, no hair dryer. Borrowed a ice bucket. Room was clean. Waste baskets are woven and tip over. Rooms are small.

Amazing place with amazing people
We had to make a last minute reservation in order to catch up with a cruise we missed due to flight delays. The transportation was amazing and staff was very kind and helpful. They even let us check in early and get some much needed sleep.

Loved everything about the hotel. They are very accommodating and go above and beyond to make sure the stay was comfortable. We were in a room with an ocean veiw and it was so jice to be able to sit in the warm alaska sunshine on the balcony. We had linch at the restaurant and it was phenomenal! Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Ketchican.

Surprisingly Nice for a No-Frills Stay
For budget accommodations I was surprising pleased. Staff is attentive and friendly. Free guest laundry, shuttle, anything I needed was cheerfully taken care of. Rooms are cute and super clean. Loved the drop-down teak seat in the tub/shower and the adorable Carhartt shirt throw pillows. Excellent on-site restaurant. As an Alaskan on a remote island who’s just here to handle things and shop, it’s great to be at the edge of town near the shopping and ferry terminals.

Extremely welcoming and accommodating staff, nicely updated and decorated rooms. We enjoyed watching the boats and planes come and go on the Tongass Narrows over morning coffee; rooms are small and quaint, but just right for a visit to watch my son play in a little league tournament.

Wally, Don, Haley, Joey, Whitney, Chef Mike, Alex ,Demiree, Sylvia, Anna…and everyone… you guys made a trip Of a Lifetime turn into a Memory that will never be forgotten. Friendly and helpful staff. Amenities were good. Only complaint I have is that the beds were hard...maybe time for new mattresses. Thanks to the Ketch for making our stay enjoyable

It was nice having a restaurant on property because there was no fridge or microwave in the room. There was also no AC and the room did get pretty humid at night when the door was closed. Had the room that backed up to the water so that was beautiful

Great people, but hit & miss on room.
Top marks for reservations and free airport van team. Awesome people. So so actual room, and at $300, not a good match. Ground floor parking lot side room under the stairwell, so notable all night noise from upstairs hotel room guests and more coming & going on stairs. Stale, not clean smell in room on arrival. Staff was nice, trying to help with fresh air fan, etc. Some other room cleaning misses, too. Ahain, great van and desk team. Thank you.

We were fortunate to get this room the entire island was booked for the night we arrived except for this room because of that the price paid was exorbitant considering the room itself.

Just disappointed to discover that the restaurant had already closed for the season...it was the reason I picked the spot...well, that and the price. Only other negative...there was some kind of brownish stain on my white comforter...end of season so ???

The staff was absolutely amazing. The rooms are dated but who cares with the best chef, wait staff, bartender, and front desk manager. We can’t wait to go back!!!!!! Thank you for making us feel special and thank you for your hospitality!

the staff was friendly and helpful...when I missed my flight out they were very helpful then also.....even let me store some Cajun sausage in the freezer.....it was very much appreciated.

The employees treated us very very well. Making sure we had what we needed. That said.. some things missing included refrigerator, ( they had to rob from another room ). Ice bucket ( they had to rob from another room). No window screens. and Restaurant was closed a lot of the time. I believe they wasted a couple of View Rooms for laundry room etc. A little maintenance would be good for this place. Overall a decent place... but has great potential if fixed up.

While it sounds like we didn't quite meet your expectations on this stay, I hope you will give us another shot next summer. We have some big plans to upgrade the facility this winter!

Beautiful view
Very clean,beautiful view from our deck of ocean and mountains. We enjoyed watching boats and planes. Staff was very friendly. I had a concern on security, our sliding glass window had no way to lock it, even a broom stick in the groove wouldve worked.

Great stay
The front desk staff were great. They were willing to provide transportation to/from airport and ferries and even dropped us off downtown. The bus is convient also with a stop near the hotel.

Very comfortable room. Great location near town. Wonderful food in on site restaurant but the most outstanding thing about this property is the amazing and friendly staff! Everyone there was just so nice and helpful. A very enjoyable stay. Recommend highly!

Share a washcloth?
Worse than spartan. One washcloth and one hand towel provided for two people, no Kleenex so I guess we were expected to use TP to blow nose, classy. We were provided three hangers, asked for more but told there weren’t any. Stayed 5 nights and no resupply of TP nor change of towels. It was advertised with daily housekeeping, with COVID I can understand adjustments, but not just flat out lack of service. Had to ask for everything everyday and pick up ourselves. Office staff were gruff. Housekeepers often seen sitting on beds and smoking while on the job walking around property. But it seemed clean.

The rooms were not ready at check in. When we did get our room the sheets and comforter were still wet. The check in was hours late. We went to wait at the bar. The waitress got us new bedding. She was awesome.

the staff are excellent but the rooms are minimal and the ad is misleading - it shows a room rental with a balcony and view of the channel. However, when I checked in, I got the back of the hotel facing streetside with no balcony or view. The rooms are tiny and features minimal.
