Incredible Gem

This property is so perfect for a small group of friends or family that don’t mind going on a short walk to get to Creek Street or downtown. The views are stunning, we counted 15 Bald Eagles at one time, especially when the fishing lodge below is cleaning their catch. The owner is extremely nice and happy to help you enjoy your stay. Would highly recommend this place to stay!

Great Host, Great Location

John was a great host for our Bed and Breakfast stay, he served a robust breakfast for 3 days of our 7 day stay. Seven of us stayed at the property. Property has a fantastic view, eagles, float planes, fishing boats and cruise ships every day. Easy walk to downtown for the parade and dinner. Ketchikan parking is always tight so it was great to have a parking spot. Highly recommend this property.

Dad's 50th State

Alaska was the 50th state for 83 yr old Dad to vist and we chose Ketchikan. Captain John was very helpful and accommodating. The place was clean, charming, and a great place for our group of 6 adults to relax and plan our excursions. The view is AMAZING! Location is perfect for our needs. I would stay here again and I highly recommended this place.

loved the view!

So fortunate to spend a sunny week enjoying Ketchikan and the view from this comfortable location. Spent our mornings on the upper deck watching all the activity on the water and the afternoons enjoying the sights around the area. Area buses are available after a short walk down the hill. Captain John is a great host!

Fishing getaway

We had 6 men staying in this property which was definitely the maximum. Probably really comfortable for a group of four. John, our host, was spectacular. Very generous and accommodating in all respects. View is great and accommodations were clean and comfortable. Only real drawback was the lack of a cooktop but we were eating out anyway so it really didn’t matter to us. John really went beyond what is normal to make sure we were well accommodated. Great place and great time!

Wonderful accomodations!

This exceeded our expectations! The apartment was furnished with lovely antiques, tastefully decorated and was spotlessly clean. Kitchenette was nicely set up with mini-fridge, microwave, tea kettle and plenty of coffee, tea, hot chocolate etc. Our host was very responsive - one day there was a minor internet hiccup, and he had someone over to re-set the router immediately. Beautiful view, quiet bedrooms with good beds, and a pleasant 10 minute walk into town. Highly recommend!

Ketchikan kayak trip

We came here for the weekend to do some kayaking. John was an amazing host. It was an easy check in process. The views were beautiful. The location was perfect. We could walk to town with an easy stroll. To top it off, he made us breakfast Sunday morning. What a pleasant surprise!

Great location and amenities

The location near downtown was great, and we enjoyed the views from the upstairs porch. The kitchen and living space were just what we needed for a short stay. John was very helpful, and the property is clean and well-cared for. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

wonderful stay

John's place was just what we needed. The view was spectacular! Sitting out on the patio was very nice. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom facilities were great. John made us breakfast which exceeded our expectations, he was a very hospitable host. We had a nice dinner at Ocean view restaurant highly highly recommended!! If you want to stay in Ketchikan near the town and the cruise ships this is a great spot to stay.
