  • Only a handful of properties in Keswick town centre enjoy the benefit of a garden, views and private parking but Acorn Lodge Cottage has all three. A spacious 4 bedroom cottage to sleep 7.. Ground Floor:

    Living/dining room: 40" Smart TV, Bluray Player, Bluetooth Speaker, Open Fire

    Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Coffee Machine

    Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet, Washer Dryer

    First Floor:

    Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed

    Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

    Bedroom 3: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

    Bedroom 4: Single (3ft) Bed

    Bathroom: Bath, Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, gas, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot.. Garden with patio and garden furniture. Garage with drying unit and storage for bikes and boots. Private parking for 1 car. Please note: The neighbours have right of access through the garden.. Only a handful of properties in Keswick town centre enjoy the benefit of a garden, views and private parking but Acorn Lodge Cottage has all three. Its central location means that shops, pubs and restaurants are all within two minutes walk. Derwentwater and Walla Crag are easily accessible from the doorstep. This four bedroom cottage provides spacious accommodation for up to seven people and is furnished with a mixture of new and antique furnishings and modern appliances.

Lovely house in great location

House is as it appears on the listing. Kitchen has all you need in equipment and space. Comfy lounge to collapse into after a hard days walking. Easy and short stroll into Keswick, for all the shops and restaurants. Would stay here again, and have no hesitation to recommend it

lovely property in great location

This was the second time we booked this house in Keswick as we had such a great experience on our first visit. Overall accommodation standards are high. The house is nicely furnished, beds are comfortable , and there is a well equipped kitchen. Lots of space for a family so not cramped even with boots, bags, walking gear, etc Location is just a few minutes walk from the town centre.

Would have given tens all around but some of the furniture is getting a little shabby and needs updating but this didn’t take away from our enjoyment of the stay and we will be back for sure. A lovely property with a great location in town and with parking space and sitting out areas. It is in our favourite part of town close to shop and Lake. Our teenagers loved the equipment in Fitz Park. Found on-street parking for second car, very easy. Reasonably well equipped but short of the loving care needed to address things that were not working. The owner needs to stay there and realise how irritating little shortcomings can be. This was our third vist to Acorn Lodge and while location is excellent we felt there was a drop in the standard of cleanliness. The twin room was very dusty and had to be cleaned before use. The single room had several items left in drawers from previous guests and the plug on the iron was literally falling apart, quite dangerous

The cottage was booked for a family birthday. It had everything we needed. Very nicely decorated & lovely bedrooms & bathrooms. It also has a lovely garden & a parking space. I would book it again. & recomend it to others.

We had the most wonderful week staying in Acorn Lodge Cottage.

We had the most wonderful week staying in Acorn Lodge Cottage. It is situated in the perfect location, less than 5 minute walk into the centre of Keswick and about a 10 minute walk from Derwent Water. Conveniently there is off road parking too. The cottage itself is just delightful. So well equipped, spacious and having a sink in every bathroom is a definite bonus. We will be back!

The cottage was very nice, the showers were poor, not very good flow. The house could have been cleaner, however the beds were comfortable and the lounge spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and crockery etc.
