Jardines delanteros y traseros con césped, asientos y barbacoa. Tienda de bicicletas. Estacionamiento privado para 2 autos; estacionamiento adicional en carretera .. The Bolthole es un acogedor bungalow adosado ubicado en una zona residencial muy popular pero tranquila de Keswick, cerca del Centro de Convenciones. Está situado en una posición elevada que ofrece maravillosas vistas desde el jardín trasero a través de Catbells, Causey Pike, Grisedale Pike y Ullock Pike, Skiddaw y Latrigg.
    La propiedad consta de una sala de estar, cocina / comedor, baño y dos habitaciones, una doble y una doble. Se proporciona conexión Wi-Fi y la sala de estar está equipada con un televisor Freesat con reproductor de Blu-ray / DVD. El jardín trasero tiene una mesa de picnic y un banco de jardín desde el que los huéspedes pueden disfrutar de las hermosas vistas de las montañas.     El bolthole está a solo 10 minutos a pie del pintoresco centro de la ciudad de Keswick, son tres parques y las hermosas costas de Derwentwater, desde donde el lanzamiento de Keswick transporta a los visitantes a algunas de las partes más pintorescas de Borrowdale. El acceso a muchos de los paseos por los páramos y bosques de los alrededores está a solo cinco minutos a pie. Keswick tiene un mercado dos veces por semana en el área peatonal alrededor del Moot Hall y alberga muchos festivales anuales durante todo el año que van desde el "Festival del Medio Verano" hasta jazz y blues, películas, cerveza y deportes de montaña. El famoso teatro junto al lago de Keswick y el cine atmosférico Alhambra están a pocos pasos de The Bolthole.

It would have been difficult to fit 4 people in kitchen.

It would have been difficult to fit 4 people in kitchen. Not much clear worktop space to prepare food etc.Did not expect to find crockery in cupboard in hall - expected it to be in kitchenFreezer iced up requires defrosting and drawers not very clean Whirly in garden broken. These did not detract from enjoyment of holiday. Found house cosy and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. Kitchen too small for 4 to eat at table and double room very small. Access to back garden is from side door through a gate so couldn’t let dogs have free roam from house to garden. Petrol station sold groceries 5 mins walk. Great shower. Views only from rear. We have just returned from a lovely week at this cottage. Conveniently placed 10 minutes from the town centre but with the added bonus of a garden and off street parking. Very quiet clean and modern cottage with stunning views. Well equipped kitchen plenty of hot water and lots of helpful tourist information. The cottage was clean and comfortable.

The cottage was clean and comfortable. A couple of negatives, the rear garden was untidy, long grass with previous cut not collected, gate to rear was also insecure.

Nice little bungalow, with garage for bike storage, and access to walks straight out of the door. Lovely views across to the mountains! A little bit further from centre of Keswick than ideal, but still walkable in 10 minutes. Would definitely recommend, and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

This is the second time we have stayed at The Bolthole (formerly Candlemass) and loved the newly refurbished bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, cutlery, cooking untensils etc. It is in a lovely position, with a great view from the garden of the fells, so relaxing, and really quiet. I always think it is a privilege when people accept dogs in to their properties - so thank you for making the whole family welcome. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here.

This well appointed bungalow is in a quiet location, within easy walking distance of the main street. There are many walks from the door too, without needing the car! It's comfortable and warm with all that is required for a fully self catering holiday. There is an enclosed garden too, suitable for dogs, and furniture to enjoy an afternoon cup of tea. The views are stunning too. We had a brilliant week, hope we can stay again in the future.
