The whole family from Texas, Arizona, and from San Francisco flew down to enjoy the comforts of kernville and it was as expected , beautiful views , great water activities. The hotel is amazing, Wonderful host, great Amenities and Restaurant, bar's including shopping is all walking distance. Would recommend to anyone planning to stay in Kernville.The hotel owner John and the staff was amazing Thank you for all the memories, will be back.

When we arrived, the staff already had the AC turned on for us and had the key in the room waiting our arrival. Very cool.

Nice little lodge in a great location. Could have been cleaner, but it wasn’t filthy by any means. TV way too small for the size of the room, especially for how cheap TV’s are these days. Walking distance to everything. Have their own sandy beach on the river with a fire pit and chairs for guests to use. Check in simple, but if you arrive after midnight as I did, it can be confusing on where you can park when the place is full. There is a driveway around the corner from the office that gets a little hidden by parked cars, and you feel like you are driving where you shouldn’t be until you get down the hill and see the additional parking. Outdated, but that is part of the charm of the place. Overall, I would stay there again.

We love traveling the Kernville and this is are Go to spot, close to shopping stores, restaurants, markets, and the hotel is river front.

Riverview Lodge in Kernville was a great place for our over-nighter on the Kern River. The property is well-maintained for its age, and the lawn is lovely and verdant. They offer direct access to the river, and its within walking distance of all the shoppes and restaurants on both sides of the bridge. From an old river rat who has haunted streams throughout this nation, Riverview Lodge on the Kern River is a perfect spot to soak it all in.

Owners are always so kind and helpful, fast for anything you need. They have pumps/fishing poles/nets/barbecues just anything you may need. Always an amazing time. We always stay there anytime we are in Kernville.

This is our second time staying with Riverview Lodge and parking is great staff are amazing and very helpful. We need it. Air-conditioning is great and rooms are decent but can be better if upgraded.

The best thing about this rustic little lodge is the location! You have a private beach on the Kern River right outside the room! The owners are super chill and friendly! The AC was working its ass off to keep us cool on 95+ days but boy was it LOUD!! We literally had to go get earplugs😆 All in all, a lovely little family owned lodge for all of your Kernville adventures.
