Good place to stay if you like horses. Stuff is friendly. Food is good. Plenty activities on the side.

This is good quick trip to get away from NYC, but it's very expensive for what you're getting. It is all inclusive which makes it easy not having to worry about meals, but the meals are very basic. For Dinner we ate burgers, hotdogs, and ribs (tad dry), breakfast was fine an omelet station would have been great, and then for lunch, they literally lay out cold cuts and you make your self a sandwich. Again, I didn't go up for the food, but at the rates we were paying, I didn't expect to have better options. Otherwise it was a really nice time. I'd go back but only if we get a deep discount deal.

a perfect family reunion location
I organized a family reunion at Pine Ridge, bringing together family of all ages (2-72) from across the country. We had a fantastic stay, from first pony rides to the jumping pad to shared meals and s'mores at the campfire. The rooms vary (it's an older property being slowly brought back to life and remodeled). Food was delicious and plentiful. The people who work at Pine Ridge couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating, whether they were helping with special diets or our private gathering or nervous riders. Special shout outs to Vicky, Eva, and cowboy Mike. Prices were very reasonable, and we loved the all-inclusive aspect and atmosphere. My only suggestions for the future would be more water stations (with souvenir canteens?) instead of generating lots of plastic bottles. And newer mattresses and pillows. We thought wifi only in the lobby worked well; it kept us from working or being stuck in our devices. Weather was glorious. It's such a pretty area. Be sure to visit the Walkway over the Hudson while you're nearby. Thank you for hosting our extended family and helping us create amazing memories.

Poor Experience
Room: Small and very outdated, I booked 2 king beds but got 1 king, 1 queen and bunk beds that took up half the room. Beds extremely uncomfortable, sinking and very loud creaking. No fridge, no coffee maker, no microwave, only 2 outlets in the room. Front desk rude and very unaccommodating. I booked Friday and Saturday as 2 separate reservations and called 3 days earlier to inform the hotel so that i would not have to move rooms but they had me move anyway. Our room key also randomly stopped working we were locked out of our room. Staff give incorrect information about events/activities/other or most say they don't know. Tried to sign up for horseback riding and was given wrong info so we had to go back and forth between front desk and barn. Once at the barn there was nobody there to even ask for help. Food is inclusive but only an hour window for each meal and poor selection - mostly fried food. Indoor pool is only open 8-10 pm so my child could never enjoy it. Forced to use outdoor pool that had freezing water and all the children were shivering even though it was 85 outside and sunny. On our last day we tried to use the Atm to get cash for tips for cleaning crew and servers who did a great job but the atm was not working. Credit card reader on the vending machine did not work.

Hello! We are saddened by this review. We do have several new employees, but we will use this as a training tool. Our reviews in general are amazing. We are sorry you did not enjoy yourself.

Family get together at the Pine Ridge Dude Ranch
We had a wonderful time at the ranch. Our granddaughter loved riding the pony, the food was good and it was nice having everything taken care of so that we could just visit and enjoy ourselves.

Too expensive for very low value. Phone in the room doesn’t work. Bugs found in room. Horse rides were very nice. Lunch is very poorly prepared and displayed. When you pay close to $500 per night for each room you’d expect the food to be a bit more than bread slices, cold cuts and dry brownies. Would’ve been a nice trip should they have kept the room cost around $250 per night ( our family is 2 adults and 4 children so we had to take 2 rooms for 1 night)

Thank you for your review. We will take your comments and improve on the lunch. We have a buffet style lunch since most guests are to busy with the activities to have a formal sit down lunch. I did look up your reservation. Your room rate per room was $277.16. This represents a discount you received thru Travelocity. We hope if your ever in the area again, that you will give us another chance.
