A Walk In The Park

We stayed with homes by Christopher before and his homes don’t disappoint. Our home was perfect for our 5 week off and in stay while we watched our son play football at Carthage. There was plenty of room for us. The kitchen was well stocked and the main floor served us perfectly for our elderly grandpa staying for the 5 weeks. Being able to take a daily walk in the park was a great way to start the day. We will look for a Home by Christopher again.

Wonderful comfortable house.

My friends and I stayed at the home and loved it and felt very comfortable. We played on the foosball table. The host is so nice to communicate with he left us a bottle of wine, snacks and a danish kringle from the bakery and coffee, and water bottles. It also was close to town. Would definitely stay there again. Also lots of beds there you could have plenty of places to sleep. Would do it again!

Only one real bedroom

The house, location, and owner were great. Lots of thoughtful touches. However, there is only one bedroom with a door that closes for full privacy. The other bedroom is also the hallway to get to the upstairs loft. The upstairs loft beds do not have privacy. It didn't end up being THAT big of a deal for us, but I would not stay here again because of it. The spiral staircase between the loft and main floor is not suitable for most anyone over 50 or over 200 lbs. Everything else was great, though. Christopher was great. We just didn't realize the bedrooms were not actual private bedrooms.

Gem of a spot

First off, this is 2 blocks from the one and only SPOT restaurant - which our grown kids enjoyed for late night killer double cheeseburgers! ;-) The home is wonderfully clean, thoughtfully appointed and quite large. You could comfortably have 10+ folks stay here with plenty of room and still wonderful gathering areas. The basement is finished and provides a great activity area for kids and adults alike. Communication was timely throughout the process. It's wonderful to find a home like this that allows a large family or several couples to stay together at an affordable price point with much better amenities than hotels. This is a great find

Good stay

After a interesting beginning, our trip was great! Christopher was quick to respond. The house is so much bigger than it looks from the outside and I wish the weather had been better so we could have used the outdoor area. It was a great place for our new sailor to relax!

Excellent Service

We had a wonderful stay in Kenosha. There was an issue with the hot water heater, I contacted Chris and within minutes somebody was over to fix it. Chris was always responsive to my requests. As for the home, it was lovely. I would highly recommend this property.

Fantastic property

Chris was always reachable and very helpful with our questions. We felt welcome with the custom sign and treats awaiting our arrival. It is clear he strives for a 10/10 guest satisfaction. The property was amazing with so many beds to choose from! We would love to stay here again!

Great Place!

The house was clean and ready when we arrived. The neighborhood is quiet and back yard private! It was a great place to hang out with our sailor after graduation and for the weekend. The drive to the Naval Base is easy (a little longer than we had thought, but an easy straight drive). The lower level had a nice space to hang out as well- the whole house was cozy! We will definitely be back when in the area.

Nice Location and Property

The location is just minutes from lake Michigan, many beautiful parks and hiking trails! We were pleasantly surprised with the backyard patio, firepit containing firewood and little lights in one of the trees. Chris provides detailed check-in and checkout instructions. He responded to my questions or concerns within minutes! We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it for others!

Great place for a Navy PIR

We had a wonderful stay. 2 separate bedrooms and plenty of room for the children. The "home -like" feel of the property was great. This property was only about 35 minutes (17 miles) from the GL Recruit Training Station so it was perfect for our large family to visit the new Sailor. The neighborhood is super close to a beautiful park and felt very safe. The property owners made our stay very personalized as well. 100% recommended!!

This house is perfect in so many ways!

My 2 teens and I stayed at Chris’s property while visiting relatives who live nearby. When we got to the house, there were some amazing welcome gifts, including a delicious pastry from a nearby bakery. We all had our own rooms with big comfortable beds. We utilized most (if not all) the offered amenities- laundry machines, grill, even the pack-n-play for an hour or so when my niece’s family with infant twins were over. The neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance to a nice park with walking or bike trails. The house is also just a couple of miles from Eichleman Park - a sandy public beach on Lake Michigan. We went there several times for swimming and picnics. Also close to a slew of great thrift stores. This location is close to highways leading to everywhere else - we went to Milwaukee to Discovery World, followed by eats at The Safe House (check that place out if you are into spies and intrigue! Unique spy themed restaurant). My kids enjoyed watching their favorite shows on the big TVs and I chilled out on the patio during our down time. Chris was super responsive with all communications. I’m so glad I chose to book our stay here versus a hotel!! So worth it!! Thanks a million, Chris and crew!!
