Wonderful Stay at L&L’s Apartment!
My wife and I spent three nights in the apartment in June 2024 and had a great time. The apartment is very nicely appointed, very comfortable. The kitchen has all we needed - coffee maker, good frig, all the needed equipment. The king bed in the master was very comfortable. Our favorite space was the porch overlooking the Kennebunk River. We had all of our breakfasts there (from Old Salt’s) and all of our dinners (from Cape Porpoise Kitchen).
Owner Lani works in the area and was a great contact. She’s from the area and had great advice on restaurants and activities.
Things to do? By all means do a sail on the Schooner Eleanor! It’s right there in front of the building. Kris and Rich have a beautiful boat and manage the 2-hour sail very well. Walk the nearby streets, especially the old sea captain homes. Cross the River and walk the trails at the Franciscan Monastery. And of course there’s tons to do in the Kennebunks!
