We had a wonderful stay at Villa Asteri. A truly beautiful villa in an amazing setting. The views are stunning, I would never have tired of them! As the villa is set up into the mountain a bit, a car is essential as it’s not really walkable to get to the resort centre. It only takes 5-7 minutes in the car and then you’re in Skala resort centre where there is loads of free parking and plenty of lovely tavernas, shops, cafés and small supermarkets, plus the long and lovely beach. Outside of the villa, Kefalonia is a beautiful island, so clean everywhere, easy to get around and just a relaxed unpretentious feel to the whole place. We will definitely be back some day.

Just heavenly

Everything about Villa Asteri was just wonderful. We’ve had the most relaxing holiday in many years and hope to visit again. Highly recommended. Views absolutely stunning as is the villa and it’s facilities.

We have stayed at many villas over the years and have to say this was the best so far. The view is amazing, the facilities and cleanliness of the villa is excellent and the location perfect. Listening to the goats passing by whilst reading on a sun lounger was perfect.

Superb secluded villa

My wife and 2 children (10 and 12) spent 2 weeks here in August and loved every minute. The booking arrangements were very straightforward, and the directions to, instructions for and local info supplied about the villa were excellent - including the various recommended local eateries (the nearest 10 minutes walk up the hill and the others a short drive away). The villa very much lives up to the impressive photos, and the island is beautiful and ideal for a relaxing holiday.

Fabulous 5 Star Villa

We have just returned from a wonderful weeks stay in Villa Asteri. We were looking for a quiet location close to Skala and Katelios and think we found the perfect place. The villa is extremely well equipped and immaculately maintained. But it’s the stunning views, especially from the wonderful infinity pool, that we will all remember about Villa Asteri.

Asteri Villa ~ Old Scala, Kefalonia....... absolutely perfect!

We have just returned from the most fabulous week in Kefalonia, the minute that we spotted villa Asteri online we knew that it ticked all our boxes, and we were not disappointed! The booking process, the flights, hire car arrangements , directions & villa info was all spot on! The villa was spotless and the welcome food was a lovely touch. We have stayed in many villas over the years and this has totally raised the bar! We can not recommend it highly enough! The swimming pool was stunning... clean, warm and with a beautiful outlook. The surrounding area was wonderful, it was nice to get out and explore the island, such friendly people and yummy food. We had the most wonderful time.... the only thing we would change is we wished we had stayed another week! Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome...... 😀

Superb villa in a beautiful location

We can highly recommend this villa. It is very well laid out with spaces for sun and shade. We particularly liked the outdoor seating area. The views are stunning and the smells from the garden flowers on the veranda or pool are heavenly. The villa has everything you need to dine in but we ate out nearly every night at the numerous tavernas in the local area. A car is essential, the local supermarkets well stocked and the island of Kefalonia is a gem. Highly recommended

Peaceful

We found the Villa high up in the hillside, so quiet and peaceful with nothing to hear apart from the goats, as they walked past with their bells jingling around their necks. We made use of the pool early in the morning, then sat outside and had breakfast, can't beat it. A beautiful place to chill. The only recommendation I could possibly help anyone with is, when you book your hire car, get one with a 4 wheel drive. We had a large Fiat saloon and had to return it after 2 days to Addcar because when we went round and up some of the steep hills we could smell the clutch. Addcar (recommended) were very understanding and understood the problem, they gave us a 4 wheel drive automatic, same steep hills, problem gone.

An outstanding villa with a view to die for

We'd driven by Villa Asteri on a previous visit to Skala (lovely, unspoilt place) and determined to try to book it in the future. It was as wonderful as we had imagined. The owners have thought of everything and it was a beautiful haven on the most lovely, still-unspoilt island. We will return.

Fantastic villa in a fantastic location.

Stayed here for a week & we absolutely loved it. The villa was so peaceful - most of the time all you could hear were the birds singing & the occasional goat bell. Although small, Skala had some great places to eat & a few shops to look around. It was fairly quiet when we went (last week of May) but that was perfect for us.

Exceptional villa with amazing views and infinity pool

Have just returned from Villa Asteri which exceeded our expectations. It is in a tranquil location with an amazing view from the terrace. Our only problem was choosing which of the multiple outdoor areas to take in the amazing view. The pool is great and the villa is immaculately clean with cleaning service twice a week. The welcome pack was fabulous. It is an easy short drive to Skala and Kaminia/mounda beach. You will definitely not be disappointed booking this villa. The view of stars at night time was also great and how we ended each day of our holiday.

Beautiful villa with a stunning view

From the moment we made our initial enquiry the owner, Michael, was extremely helpful with everything including car hire. The villa lived up to all expectations from the website! It was extremely well resourced with a stunning view and we quickly felt at home. The pool was a little chilly as we were there at the very start of the season but we still managed a dip nearly every day. The cleaner came twice during our stay & it was nice to have all our towels replaced. We can’t recommend this villa highly enough. We’ve had a wonderful week - peaceful & relaxing! Many thanks

Fabulous view from a luxury villa

The villa is exactly as it appears in the photos and has a most amazing view. Although only a few minutes drive out of Skala, it is in a secluded, peaceful setting. It is very spacious and comfortable with all the home comforts you could wish for. Fabulous pool and plenty of outdoor furniture. Lovely touches such as the welcome pack of basics and cleaning twice during the week. A perfect stay.

First class.

The villa was exactly as it showed. Beautifully furnished especially the outdoor space which we utilised all week. Did not watch the TV at all. Spent the evenings outside chatting. Kitchen was well equipped. Had everything we needed. Having the property cleaned twice during our stay was a luxury. Fresh towels and bedding... perfect. The host replied quickly to my messages and was very accommodating. And finally the views were to die for.

Luxury villa in a spectacular location

What a fabulous villa, certainly the best villa that we have ever stayed in. The spacious, clean and well laid out accommodation made our stay extremely pleasurable. The villa was equipped with everything that we needed. The fabulous outside area with the infinity pool provided plenty of space to relax and soak up the rays and when it got too hot, the air conditioning indoors and insect screens on all of the windows and patio doors ensured that we had somewhere cool to retire to. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, very peaceful and relaxing and would definitely recommend this luxury villa. Hopefully we will return next year.

True perfection

Very complete, stylish and luxurious villa with spectacular sea views. My family had a perfect week in this great villa. We have rented quite a number of villas in the last 10 years but this one exceeds the expectations. Heated infinity pool, great outdoor lounge and dining area, villa cleaning twice per week, fully airconditioned. Definitely recommend the villa! E J

We loved the fact you felt you were in peaceful location yet close to katelios and skala.The views are awesome .The villa is immaculate with the pool a centrepiece and outside bbq area.Waking up to the goat's bells is a real pleasure .We would highly recommend .
