Absolutely loved our stay! Great communication from Connie ahead of our holiday, and Andy was great whilst we were at the villa helping out with a few things like boat trips and even replacing the hammock which was broken. The villa itself was perfect for us - 2 adults and 2 kids (15 and 10). Very clean, in a great condition, and had everything we needed. We wanted our own space in a quiet area slightly off the tourist beaten track, and that’s what we got. We had a car to get around as we wanted to explore the island. Whilst not essential, I’d recommend a car if you stay at this property. It’s too hot in August to walk to the beach loaded up with bags!! Andy gave us 2 paddle boards and tennis rackets to use - added bonus as it gave us extra things to do which was great. WiFi connection was brilliant and great to have a smart TV for those moments the kids just want to chill. This was the best family holiday we’ve had. Kefallonia is a beautiful island if you get out and explore beyond the tourist areas. The hidden beaches are amazing - hire a speedboat locally from Ortus Boats for an unforgettable day - the local restaurants and bars were good value and managed by lovely people. And if you get a chance, take the boat trip with Dennis from Acropolis, which Andy recommended and booked for us. Loved every second and we will 100% be coming back!

Beautiful villains another amazing stay

We were here last year and loved it so much we returned. The place is stunning, Andy is so helpful and kind, he assisted us in booking a scooter for the week and getting us there and back to collect it.Lovely restaurants are within a mile and the shop down the road has everything you could need.We will return, it is so fabulous it has spoilt us for any other place !!Tahini fir another brilliant and relaxing week.

Great location and owner - nothing too much trouble

Loved this villa so much - a few days into our holiday - we were already talking about coming back. Lovely location down a very quiet road. Initially, it was a bit tricky to find - fortunately the owner Andy was waiting at the villa and talked us in. After he'd left us, we found a fab' greetings package - a very decent bottle of local wine, lots of water, olives, cheese etc. In addition, ample coffee pods, a dozen loo rolls and cleaning stuff. We all so tired after the 2am start, we snaffled the olives etc, drank some wine and crashed around the lovely pool and enjoyed the peaceful garden. As for location; it's ideally positioned between two fantastic beaches and all the tavernas are just about walkable. The nearest one is one of the best in the village but there are also two terrific fish restaurants on both beaches. We also fell in love with the bakery/bistro. There's a supermarket in the village but if you want to load up - ask Andy for directions to the big supermarket. Personally, I'd say get a car for this holiday; you'll be able to access things much more easily. A special thank you to Andy. Nothing was too much trouble. He popped by almost daily to take our rubbish and - when we mentioned the parasols on the beach were pricey - he dropped off 3 director's chairs, an umbrella and a cool bag. Even though I broke my ankle on this holiday; it was one of the best breaks (pardon the pun) we've ever had. As for the next trip - hoping to return in June.

Amazing holiday - perfect property

The villa is beautiful, everything has been thought of including a few welcome bits n bobs to eat and drink. Andy was a very welcoming, informative and helpful host, available, but not intrusive. The pool was immaculate as was all the outside (and inside space) We didn’t have a car (by choice) but there were several lovely tavernas within walking distance, as well as a local supermarket which sold absolutely everything. Everything was perfect and of course the weather was amazing Thank you Andy & Connie for a great stay- we do intend to return !

Summer Holiday September 2023

I am giving 5 stars for Connie and Andy’s villa It is located in a quiet secluded location with a lovely pool. The sun shone for 7 days. It’s only a short drive to the beech and there is a restaurant there too. The local shop is a short drive and has everything you need. Andy was very helpful, not only suggesting places to visit but on hand if we needed anything. There is also an excellent taverna which you can walk to from the villa. I would definitely recommend hiring a car. Nice to see other parts of the island. Simon’s car hire was excellent. I would recommend staying at Connie and Andy’s villa. Thank you both.

Brilliant Host and Enjoyable Stay

Andy went over and above in making us feel welcome and looking after us during our stay, in fact he’s probably one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. We had a lovely family holiday and particularly enjoyed the pool volleyball and evening bbqs.

Truly amazing

This was our second time visiting the property and we had a brilliant time once again. The villa has everything you need plus this year they had supplied a volleyball net to use which was great fun! As we knew our way around from last year it was easy to navigate around however we did find lovely new restaurants and places to visit. I would recommend hiring a boat for the day to be able to visit the beaches that are only accessible but boat. White cliffs is stunning and very picturesque. We hired our boat from Gina at Ortus luxury boat hire. Andy and Connie are great hosts and nothing is ever too much trouble. We would happily return and recommend.

We had a lovely stay. The host (Andy) was waiting for us upon arrival and gave all necessary information. Spacious rooms, all well kept and clean. Beach within walking distance, where we found a great place for lunch / diner. The host gave good follow up to a question we had, and he was easy to get in contact with. Only thing missing in the house was a frappe (coffee) maker, other then that a very complete accommodation and recommendable!

Two Week Vacation

Our stay at the villa was exceptional. The villa was extremely clean, welcoming and it had all the facilities to make our vacation in Kefalonia a great experience. The communication with the owners was very helpful from the time of booking until after the end of our holiday. They genuinely cared that we had a great time and that the villa lived up to our expectations. We would definitely recommend this villa as a place to stay for a holiday in Kefalonia.

Perfect Villa

This is a perfect villa to get away and relax. It is conveniently positioned to give easy access to the whole island and a great place to come home to everyday. The pool is clean and very inviting, the patio is well stocked with relaxing furniture and the garden is very private. We thoroughly enjoyed the friendly customer service, Andy & Connie are very professional and Andy regularly checks to make sure everything is OK. We would highly recommend.

Fabulous property great condition and lovely pool, owners were fantastic amazing support.

Great villa with a fantastic pool and amenities. We would recommend it!

We had a great stay in the villa and really enjoyed our time in Kefalonia. The villa was well equipped and had a great pool and outdoor space as well as a fantastic bbq area. Walking distance to the beach and to some lovely restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble for the management team and they were available throughout our stay for information and help if needed.

A perfect holiday

This is the perfect property for a family getaway. We have 2 children aged 9 and 7 and they loved everything about it. It's great if you just want to spend the day by the pool and it's also in a great location if you want to use it as a base to explore the island. There's also a fantastic beach with 2 brilliant tavernas and a beach bar just down the road. Connie and Andy were brilliant hosts. In the run up to our holiday Connie kept in touch with friendly and useful reminders and tips. While we were in the property Andy was always on hand to give advice on where to visit and what to do. Thank you both. I can't recommend this property and this island enough. We fell in love with both as a family and we will certainly be returning soon.

Fantastic villa with amazing hosts

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the villa. Andy took our flight details luckily so he knew when we would be arriving which was great as our flight was delayed. Andy was there to greet us on arrival along with a welcome pack of milk, bread, meats and wine and to make sure we has everything we needed. During our stay he was very helpful on offering advice on places to go and making sure we were enjoying our stay. Our departure flight was during the evening and they kindly let us stay later than our check out time which was extremely helpful and generous of them. The villa had everything we needed including a spare set of goggles, beach ball, parasol for the beach, hairdryer and much more. The beds were very comfortable and the air con was much appreciated in the heat. The outside area is a great size and we spent a lot of our time playing volley ball or having a bbq. We stayed as a family of 2 adults and 2 children and it was perfect. The children had the upstairs bedroom with there own bathroom. The pool is a great size and plenty of sunlougers and chairs. We hired a car during our stay because even though the villa is a 20 minute walk to the beach it was too hot for us to do this especially with the children. I would recommend hiring a car when visiting as there are so many beautiful beaches within a 10 minute drive and parts of the island you would never be able to explore otherwise. The airport is a 10 minute drive away. The area where the villa is situated is extremely pretty and you have everything you need around you. The local restaurant down the road which is in an orange grove is a beautiful setting and delicious food, I would recommend booking a table to eat here. On Avithos beach which is a 3 min drive there is a beach bar which sells drinks and lunchtime food such as toasties and sandwiches. Above the beach on the hill as you drive in is another great restaurant called preview which again I would highly recommend. Most of the beaches have bars and sun loungers on them and we found they didn’t get too busy. There is plenty of choice on places to eat locally and the mini mart has everything you need to cook at the villa. We will definitely be booking to visit again next year. Andy and Connie were fantastic hosts from start to finish and nothing too much of an ask. Thank for making this the best holiday yet!!

Fabulous Oasis

We had an exceptional experience renting this property. The host (Connie) and Manager (Andy) couldn't have been better - even forewarning us to book car hire early, because of the shortage of rentals on the island. The villa was perfect for 2 people (equally for up to 4) and the pool and patio area were very comfortable and well maintained. On arrival we were met by Andy (he had been in touch over the previous few days) and given a welcome pack (bread, cheese, wine, cured meats etc.). That summed up the generosity of the hosts. All in all an excellent stay and I would heartily recommend to all.

Perfect stay in Kefalonia

Villa Anthia was an absolutely delightful place for us…nice and peaceful yet within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and mini-market. The closest restaurant being 10-15 minutes walk…the others and the beach a little further. The villa was beautifully maintained and had everything we needed. It is very close to the airport as others have said but not on the flight path so the limited number of planes that come into Kefalonia are not an issue. But a car is a must, especially if you want to see other parts of the island -which we would recommend you do as the coastline is extraordinarily beautiful. The villa is one of just four in a very small development - you can even play tennis if you are daft enough to in the heat! There are rackets and balls in the villa. It was really hot all the time we were there - over 30 degrees every day but there was plenty of air-conditioning available in the villa to make sure you could keep cool if you needed to. Hot water was always available for showers and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc plus the little things like having dishwasher tablets and clothes washing liquid available were good little extras - believe me sometimes places can be very bare with ‘self catering’ taken to the extreme - but not here! Connie and Andy were brilliant to deal with and having Andy close by, on site, was fabulous and nothing was too much trouble for him to make sure that we had a really good holiday - even meeting us at the airport to make sure we found the villa ok. Plus, he was a wealth of local knowledge to tap into. All in all that personal touch was really comforting and unusual in our experience as many owners can be hands off. So, if you want to go to Kefalonia…this would be a brilliant place to stay.

Amazing villa in an amazing location

This is a most beautiful villa in a fantastic location. Andy and Connie were the most brilliant hosts, incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Ever day Andy was on hand to offer any advice needed or to provide anything at all. The villa is in walking distance of 3 brilliant tavernas and 2 gorgeous beaches (one a few minutes away and the other one about 15 minutes walk). The pool is wonderful. The villa is only 10 minutes drive from the airport and Argostoli where there are lots of tavernas and bars. Our two daughters said this was the best place they have ever stayed. I cannot recommend this villa or the location highly enough. We are sad to leave.

Excellent Holiday Villa

We had a lovely holiday in this deceptively spacious villa. It is set in quite a large plot and has a great patio, pool and barbecue area with well maintained gardens. The villa has a rustic feel but with modern facilities. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were perfectly adequate for us as a couple and would probably suit a small family too. Andy the owner has several villas in this area and was always on hand to give his helpful and friendly advice. Villa Anthia is located close to the airport and to Argostoli but we would recommend hiring a car as Svoronata is quite spread out. There were several restaurants and a supermarket within a 10/20 minute walk. All in all we would highly recommend this villa.
