What a cute little place! Everything from the heat, hot water, hot tub, kitchen appliances - worked perfectly! The beds were super comfortable and overall cozy vibe and very clean. Can’t wait to stay again, the hot tub and fire were both perfect after a day of skiing.

It was a bit cold when we arrived, but by the time we were back from dinner it was warmed up and we settled in. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Perfect retreat! Home is cozy and inviting. View is beautiful! Host is kind and responsive. You can tell that the host wants their home to feel like yours and for you to enjoy it as much as they do. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cabin. The host is an exceptional communicator and met all of our needs. The cabin has everything you need (dishes, cookware, comforts of home). The only thing that was a bit difficult for us the first night was the temperature. During our stay, it was in the 90s. The portable AC unit is in the kitchen, making it more challenging to cool the bedrooms. However, I believe the weather was unseasonably hot, and we only felt some discomfort the first night. By the second and third nights, a breeze had set in, making sleeping very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely escape!

This cabin was everything we needed to recharge! It was clean, well stocked with essentials (and with nice stuff- organic hand soaps, new scotch sponge for dishes, even dryer balls in the dryer!). My family enjoyed playing games on the front porch, unwinding in the hot tub (which was very clean!) after hiking the Chasm, and evening kayaking and fishing on the lake! The house was the perfect size for our family of 4. Especially loved the collection of books and all of the antique decor. So cute!

Nice place in in good spot

Very happy with the stay here. The cabin itself was clean and thoughtfully laid out and I had no issues with mice or other pests like I've had at other cabins. The property is right across the street from the lake which my senior dog loved fetching sticks in. The firepit and hot tub were great to have, and the hot tub was actually clean which is always nice. Its also in a good location for day trips to the surrounding areas like Lake Placid, Burlington VT, and Montreal. There also is not that many other houses in the area and its quite secluded and peaceful.Robin was responsive whenever I reached out and thankfully didn't mind me moving the AC floor unit around. I stayed during a couple of 90-95 degree days and the AC still worked well. Can definitely recommend this place if you're looking to

My friends and I had a wonderful stay. We utilized the hot tub, boats, and grill during our stay. The owners were very responsive leading up to our stay and during it. Room heights are short in the bedrooms and bathroom - we are short so this wasn’t an issue for us but may be for those 6’ and up. Kitchen was well equipped with plates, pots, dishes, utensils, etc.

beautiful quiet cabin

The girlfriend and I stayed for the weekend, even though it was a rainy weekend we got a lot of hiking in and were able to cuddle up on the couch in front of the fire place. Also loved the hot tub to soothe our sore muscles. Highly recommend this place and the owners

Outstanding!

A perfect place to calm the mind, kick back, and relax. The cabin is exactly as we expected, and perfect for our long-overdue getaway. Even our dog was happy as he met a playmate. They had a great time playing in the lake together. We closed out each day with a soak in the hot tub. And the fishing in the lake is very good. Robin and her family were GREAT hosts and very attentive to our needs and comfort. We look forward to coming back in the fall for another reset.

Fabulous place

This place was located very close to Plattsburgh where my friend and I went antique shopping and thrifting. Then we visiter Burlington which is vlose by via ferry. The cottage was quaint, charming and near the water. The place ws very clean and had plenty of room. The the kitchen had everything we need and a large dinning table. The porch also was a great feature as well. We really enjoyed oir stay and i am so glad I found this place online.

A perfectly christmasee cabin!

We had a really nice family time. The great room is so perfect for gift opening on christmas morning. Everything felt warm and cozy. Very quiet place, nice views. Exactly what we wanted and expected from the pictures. Thank you! :)

Relaxing girls weekend

This was our second time at camp pocomoonshine for a girls trip we enjoyed the lake during the day we brought our paddle boards and cruised around the lake and evenings on the enclosed porch watching the sun go down also the record player was a hit and of course the hot tub to end the evening would definitely stay again we may try and make it an annual trip

Family Memories

What a perfect spot for our annual siblings trip!! The Cottage had everything we needed.. we enjoyed perfect weather for kayaking, walking, laughing around the campfire and reminiscing about our trip to the lake 50 years ago!!! The cottage was so clean and inviting... so nice to enjoy complete relaxation... our only complaint ... the time spent there passed much too quickly!!

Excellent late summer vacation

Camp Pocomoonshine is a classic Adirondack lakeside retreat. We heard loons calling the minute we opened the car door! The beds are comfortable and there are lots of cozy places to read or watch TV, so everyone had some space. The place was deliciously cozy on a rainy night and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed kayaking on pristine Lake Augur, soaking in the hot tub, and hiking and tubing at nearby Ausable Chasm.

Had a great stay!

This cabin was very well equipped and has a great dock for lake access. We spent most of our time on the water. The property has a canoe, kayak, and paddle board so the kids were thrilled. Thank you for sharing this little gem. Our kids want to come back next year! Ausable chasm was a very fun outing and we also enjoyed getting ice cream at sweet treat in Peru.

What can be said? Host was awesome and accommodating. We stopped at a grocery store before arriving at the cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. We lounged in the robes provided. Cooked dinner. Drank wine by the fire. Sat in the jacuzzi until we were prunes. Went out on the lake in the canoe (PS - best reception is out in the middle of the lake). We ventured around as well. Ausable Chasm is a must and we had lunch at Twisted Carrot which was recommended by host and it did not disappoint. We hope to go back!

Cozy Cabin

Eclipse viewing

Perfect cabin by beautiful lake. Hosts were wonderful- they put the dock out for us so we could see the eclipse. The only negative is that they are across a road from the water.

Adorable cozy cabin!

Picturesque cabin far off the beaten path. Be prepared to drive 20 minutes to town/convenience. A great place to stay if you're specifically looking to visit the ausable chasm.
