We had a great time at the cottage. The house is right on the water with an expansive view of the lake. The portion of the lake close to the dock is shallow and great for kids. The house itself is gorgeous with high ceilings, large windows with lake views, and a big kitchen. The host, Vicky, was very accommodating and very easy to communicate with. We definitely recommend the cottage and would like to revisit.

My family and I stayed at Vicky’s cottage and had the most amazing time. Vicky was very accommodating and check in process was easy. Location is beautiful and we were able to witness the blue moon over the lake and have great family pic with moon in background!! We will definitely be staying here again! 5 stars! Mark

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The listing is accurate and detailed. The cottage is well appointed with everything one needs for a cottage stay and either Fenelon Falls or Bobcaygeon are just 10 minutes away. We would not hesitate to stay at this location again should we return to this area.

Vicky was a wonderful host and the cottage was better than we had hoped. It was perfect for our family getaway. 10 minutes away from both Bobcaygeon and Fenelon falls with many hidden beaches and shops in the area. We are definitely planning a return trip.

Met with 7 friends we’ve only known through Zoom…all knitters. Had a wonderful stay. Above and beyond fully equipped kitchen, BBQ. Beautiful location. There were a few burnt out lights, but we made it work. Thank you so much for opening up your place to us. Vera & The Flock Ewe Crew

Our group of 12 friends had the best labour day weekend at this cottage. There was enough room for all of us to enjoy together or apart, both indoors and outdoors. The lake was gorgeous, quiet, and super relaxing. So close to Bobcaygeon to pick up a few items we forgot to bring and, more importantly, for the Kawartha ice cream. Vicky was so welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed. BONUS: Cute little ducks and chipmunks throughout the day!

Right from the start the communications with Vicky were thorough, friendly and prompt. Upon arrival we were thrilled to find the cottage exactly as pictured- large spacious great room and kitchen with comfortable seating everywhere. Love having a separate seating area for the fireplace to snuggle up and read a book on one of the many rainy days. The kitchen is very well equipped and we enjoyed making most of our meals there. The wifi is really great- I have to mention it as both my husband and I were able to work a few days there on video and never had an issue with connectivity or strength. This place feels like a real family cottage. It is cozy, comfortable, rustic and well positioned on the lake. While we were only two of us due to Covid times, we would have had more than enough room for the eight originally planned. We also appreciated that the outdoor furniture was comfortable and sturdy- sitting by the lake as the sun went down was a treat each day. Thank you to Vicky and family for sharing this awesome retreat and we hope to stay again one day. P.s you must get fish and chips from The Corner Fieh and Chips only 8km away!

This was a fabulous cottage. It is rustic, as mentioned, but still has many modern amenities. Vicky is an excellent host who is very responsive to all questions and requests. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this lovely cottage in late October. It is clean, beautiful, spacious, fully-equipped, tastefully decorated, and well situated. It’s even nicer in real life than in the photos! The owners were on hand to welcome us personally and gave us a tour of all the amenities, making sure we had everything we needed. The local area is very scenic, and full, fun days ended with nights by the fire. Our senior Labrador enjoyed the flat lot with gentle access to the lake and room to run in the fenced yard. It’s rare to find such a nice place that is also dog-friendly. The town of Bobcaygeon is delightful and is only a few minutes’ drive away. The owners even brought a forgotten item to Toronto for us on their next trip here. We were most appreciative of such thoughtfulness. This was our first visit to this lovely cottage, but it won’t be our last.
