Excellent apartment. Well equipped and spotlessly clean including the private hot tub and pool. Mate, the owner is onsite and gave us excellent recommendations for tours and restaurants (he even gave us a tour of the local area in his car and his son took us to the supermarket)! Great setting with sea views, lots of space and walking distance to supermarkets, cafes, bars and restaurants. Highly recommended.

What a trip, the second time we have booked this property. This year we stayed with 3 generations of our family, all of whom had a phenomenal time. This property offers so much & easily accommodates a group of mixed ages. The pool, jacuzzi, play area and mini golf offer endless entertainment. Additionally the location works so well, a beach bar for breakfast coffee, many local fabulous restaurants, and supermarkets in close proximity. Stay here to enjoy the area of Kastela & beyond.Mate & his family were fabulous hosts, thank you all so much.

Amazing Stay!

Do not miss the opportunity. This house is amazing, comfortable and large this right between Trogir and Split and just a couple minute walks to the ocean, which you can see from your pool area clearly. There are restaurants bars and beautiful, strolling paths through this charming area of a small Kaštel that line the coast. Mate is a five star host, helpful and friendly and quick to respond. We will definitely stay here again. Very close to the airport and easy access to main roads to get to what you need to get to. Excellent!! Recommendations on things to visit right on.

Relaxing stay

The house had everything we needed. The pool was fantastic. I loved being able to see the sea from the pool. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for meals and games.The host helped to make our stay go smoothly by showing us the best places to visit and eat. He was so helpful during our stay. The beach is just a 5-10 minute walk from the house.

well appointed and very clean property

Mate could not have been more helpful. He even took us to the supermarket to get our shopping just after we arrived. The villa is split into 3 apartments. We were on the ground floor and had sole use of the pool (which was a little chilly), hot tub and garden. Everything in the apartment was spotlessly clean and of high quality. If you have mobility problems it might be advisable to hire a car. The nearest bar/restaurant was about 15 minutes walk and the nearest small supermarket was 20/25 mins walk. The house is 2 minutes from the beach. We appreciated the fact that there were plenty of towels and cleaning materials. It is a beautiful property and Mate was on hand for anything we required

Well let me start by telling anyone interested in staying here I highly recommend it.Our host Matte was wonderful and was very attentive too our needs.The property was beautiful and the house with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms was clean and so comfortable.Parking available which is important.Beautiful pool and hot tub with plenty of sitting space outside.City of Split about a 25 minute ride and airport about 10 minutes.Thank you Matte for a wonderful stay

Toller Urlaub

Das Haus, der Pool und Garten waren in einem einwandfreien und sauberen Zustand. Alles was in der Anzeige versprochen wurde, wurde eingehalten. Ausserdem gibt es in jedem Zimmer eine eigene Klimaanlage. Mate nahm sich auch Zeit uns die Umgebung zu zeigen und uns ein paar gute Tipps zu geben. Wir, 6 Erwachsene und 2 Jugendliche haben unsere Zei bei Mate sehr genossen. Obwohl er mit seiner Familie in dieser Woche selbst Urlaub machte war er jederzeit erreichbar und wir hatten eine tolle Kommunikation. Thank you Lukas for this perfect Holiday.

Gem in Kaštela

This is a wonderful place to stay in Kaštela! Mate is a fantastic host and has really made this villa a home away from home. We had great communication ahead of our stay and Mate was super responsive during our stay. The location is superb, with a beach bar for morning coffee and many restaurants in close proximity to the property. I would recommend staying here with options to explore the local area, and just beyond Split & Trogir. Thank you Mate & family! We hope to be back next year.

July 2024 week stay

We stayed here for a week in July 2024. The Villa description and photos are accurate. The Villa is highly maintained by the host, Mate and his family. Location is spot on being quiet but within walking reach of very good restaurants, bars and things to do. Split and Trogir are an easy Uber ride away and a must. The host Mate goes the extra mile for his guests as detailed in previous reviews. All in a very good holiday. Thank you.

Vacanza super confortevole

Siamo stati una settimana con la famiglia, ragazzi e nonno in questa bellissima villa, tutto era comodo e confortevole, ben funzionante il Wi-Fi , la casa molto pulita ed arredata con tanto buon gusto e bei colori . Il giardino fantastico con bellissime piante e fiori, una splendida piscina e jacuzzi a nostra disposizione . Una sera ci siamo divertiti a fare il barbecue trovando gia lì tutto l’occorrente. La villa e’ in posizione strategica per visitare la costa, a metà strada tra split e Trogir . Mate ci ha accolto sempre col sorriso nonostante i nostri orari anomali di check-in e out. E dopo le bellissime giornate di mare e sole e giochi in piscina sprofondavamo in un bel sonno profumato da tutta la biancheria. Vacanza perfetta! Grazie Mate e signora

Beautiful find! We hope to return!

A truly beautifully presented property. We had a wonderful relaxing stay. The gardens are exquisite and provided plenty of space and tranquility for our young family to enjoy. The pool is a great size and there is plenty of space to choose to sit in the shade or sun! Mate and his family were very welcoming and helpful. Brilliantly located to Split, the airport and Kyke National Park with stunning waterfalls and views. We’ve found a little corner of the world we want to revisit and much to still do we didn’t manage to fit in!

Superb accommodation

We were a group of six adults looking for a comfortable villa with private pool in a relatively quiet location and a few restaurants nearby. Villa Lukas was the perfect choice. Mate, our host, was helpful in organising our airport transfer and we were extremely appreciative of his kind offer of a supermarket run so we could stock up on essential items for our stay. We did a mixture of eating out and self cartering, so further trips were made to the supermarket on foot as it was only a 10 minute stroll to the nearest one. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary crockery and utensils. Accomodation has an excellent layout with three good sized double bedrooms and a large open social living room/kitchen dinner. The pool area was also excellent with enough comfortable sun beds for all of us plus two outside eating areas. The icing on the cake was the use of a large six seater hot tub, perfect for an evening in to just chill out. We hired a car for a couple of days to explore the local area and would recommend a trip to Krka national park and also Split marina for a stroll around the old town area which has beautiful buildings and quaint alleyways. Plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes to choose from. All in all, a wonderful holiday at a great location and superb host. Thanks Mate

Great place to begin exploring the Dalmatian Coast

We have had a superb family holiday staying at Villa Lukas. Mate was a great host, collecting us from the airport and dropping us off at a supermarket to collect groceries. The Villa itself is a lovely spacious, bottom floor 3 bed apartment with sole use of the pool, hot-tub and grounds! It was immaculate and had everything you needed. Mate and his family live above on the first floor and he and his wife were unobtrusive but always available if required. We saw more of their parent who pottered about the grounds tending to the garden and the recycle area. Kastela is a great location to access Split and Trogir and the villa is literally minutes walk to beaches and local cafes, supermarkets etc. A highlight was a boat trip organised by Mate through a company called sea-runner.net where we had a private day trip to Trogir, the Blue Lagoon and Solta. Gabriel was superb and tailored the trip to our needs and pace. Would highly recommend. Comms with Mate were excellent and he welcomed our parents who joined us mid stay warmly which was really appreciated. Thank you!

Perfect place to stay!

We’ve just come back from a week’s holiday in this beautiful villa. The villa itself is really spacious, modern and clean and the air conditioning throughout was very welcome in the recent heat. The pool and grounds were beautiful and private. We made great use of the pool and also visited the nearby beach for swimming. The villa is in a great location with beach and restaurants within walking distance, great for teenagers to explore by themselves and also an easy drive to Split and Trogir which are both beautiful. The host Mate is wonderful and drove us around the area on our first day to show us the local shops, restaurants etc, organized a boat trip for us and helped us in every way he could while at the same time giving us complete privacy in the villa and grounds. A great time was had by all the family and we didn’t want to leave. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Nothing short of amazing!

Just returned home after a week in this amazing house. Owner arranged pickup at the airport (but only because we were too many to fit in his car). Took us to supermarket and private city tour on arrival. Everything was as described and in perfect shape. Can’t recommend this house and the hosts enough. For the guys: It is also the most romantic place to propose to your girlfriend. Split has some pretty amazing places that can help you arrange the setup :-)

Perfection place to relax and visit Croatia

We had a great time staying in Kastel. The accommodation was better than the pics could make it. We visited both Trogir and Split and spent a day Island hoping. Mate was a prefect host and took around the local area showing us the best places to eat, drink and were the supermarkets were. I think the villa is prefect for families and we would love to return again.

Fabulous property, great host and great location

The property is exactly as described , spotless clean with everything you can think you need thought off. Really helpful , quick communication a host who couldn’t do more from meeting at the airport to restaurant recommendations, to checking everything was ok. Great location for exploring Dalmatia!

Superb holiday staying at Villa Lukas. Mate was a fantastic host, even driving us to collect groceries and helping us with unfortunate hospital trip! Nothing was too much hassle for Mate! The Villa itself is a lovely spacious, bottom floor 3 bed apartment with sole use of the pool, hot-tub and grounds! Great location which is literally minutes walk to beaches and local cafes, supermarkets etc. Highlights were a boat trip organised by Mate through a company called sea-runner.net where we had a private day trip to Trogir, the Blue Lagoon and gorgeous Brac! We snorkelled off the boat and had an amazing lunch at a quiet little seaport on Brac coast. Day trip to Krka national park was also a highlight and the stunning Trogir! If you haven’t been go to Croatia and enjoy a stunning place, a great Villa, and fabulous hosts!

Wonderful, relaxing stay

We had a wonderful stay in Kastel Kambelovac. The villa is amazing, with great facilities, plenty of space, spotlessly clean and in a perfect location to access the beach and local bars, restaurants and shops. We loved the private pool and made good use of it during our stay. Mate was very helpful throughout the stay, ensuring that we had all the information we needed to enjoy ourselves.
