Perfect Penthouse

This penthouse was ideal for our family. We have two teenage daughters so having their own rooms, private pool and ample living and chill space was just what we needed. Easy walk to town and abundance of fantastic restaurants and shops. Pool man came most days and Matt was always on hand to offer helpful advice, deliver water for the dispenser and arrange any bookings like boat trips, transfers and beach clubs. We would definitely stay again which says it all!

Rumi Penthouse....just brilliant!!We had 7 nights at Matt's Villa which from start to finish was a great experience. The Villa had everything we needed and more for 6 adults aged between 26 and 55yrs. The rooms were spacious and spotless and the large open area outside with the pool was just great. Every communication we had with Matt was a positive one....the birthday cake was such a nice touch. The location is great and only around a 10 minute walk down to the town centre and seafront....we always booked a taxi to return as only 200tl and a pretty steep return journey!!Kalkan far outdid our expectations, the town was so nice and such a chilled atmosphere. We ate out every night and the food in all the restaurants was top notch, along with the drinks! The roof top restaurants and bars with a view really were something special.This was our first visit to Kalkan and it won't be the last....we will definitely be contacting Matt again to look at booking Rumi or any of his other Villas if available

Mathews apartment was fabulous ,spacious clean and had everything you need ,lovely pool with jacuzzi and stunning sea and mountain views. All bedrooms had ensuites and plenty of wardrobe space.Spacious living and dining area, very well equipped kitchen with ice cold drinking water cabinet.Matts attention to detail and hospitality was second to none, and we had a fantastic stay.

A Fabulous Property

My husband and I stayed in the apartment from 1st-12th May. The apartment is really lovely. It is located close to Kalkan and two good supermarkets. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable and the shower great, with loads of hot water. The outside space is excellent, it is sunny from sun up to sun set. The pool is fabulous, having been totally replaced this year and is a real feature. The neighbourhood was very quiet, especially in the evening. The apartment is very well equipped, not that I did any cooking. All in all we had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend Matthew's fabulous property.

Brilliant Stay

We had a lovely week in Rumi apartment. Everything you needed had been thought of from a welcome pack to BBQ firelighters. Matt the host was absolutely brilliant and couldn't do enough to help. He booked trips for us, delivered water for the water cooler in the apartment, and even printed off our boarding passes for us. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The pool was really nice for a cool off, and bigger than it appeared to be in the photo's. The main town was only about 10 - 15 mins walk away, and if you didn't fancy the walk back a yellow taxi is only about £3.00. Would highly recommend this apartment, with Matt as the host, for an excellent stay in Kalkan.

Fantastic Stay at Rumi.. we will return!!!

5star Penthouse Apartment. Very modern with everything you would need for a relaxing stay. Matt, the host went above and beyond looking after us whilst staying in beautiful Kalkan. Nearest supermarket a short 5 min walk. The main drag into Kalkan 5 mins also. We fully recommend and would definately consider rebooking on our return trips..

Amazing property - right close to the centre

Matt was an absolutely fantastic host. Always there to answer any query and make anything available. The property is situated very close to the centre. 10-15 min walk away from everything. (Do keep in mind that Kalkan is very steep and a lot of roads with some crazy gradients) The property is well equipped with all necessities and is quite luxurious too. Everything was very clean. The package of goodies for the pantry was amazing - more than the basic necessities! Nothing was an effort for Matt. He was in touch with us right from when we booked the property to the day we left. Kalkan as a place is a one of the quieter towns along the Turkish Riviera. A lot of activities-one day trips that can be done from this place. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and almost all of them having amazing food!

Great property

Rumi is a fantastic property in a great location, within easy walking distance of Kalkan centre. Bars, restaurants and the beach are all accessible from this property, though taxis are plentiful if needed. The apartment is large, modern and spacious and was well equipped with all the family needed for a comfortable holiday away. The owner is a great host who was in communication with us from the point of booking, helping with transfers, recommending restaurants and beach clubs, and booking taxis. He was available throughout our stay, and met us at both check-in and check-out to ensure we had everything we needed. The pool was a great addition, large enough to cool down in after a hot day in the sun. There are a number of shops all in walking distance too that provided everything we needed for our stay. We had a great week at Rumi, and look forward to returning.
