Great Property

Ko Olina is beautiful and the property is fantastic for families. The condos are a little small for a family, but certainly adequate.

The resort was nice, the food by the beach at longboards was not very good. towards the end of the vacation there was another person staying at the resort who was outside on. the balcony smoking Marijuana which smelt terrible keeping us from enjoying our lenai view on the 9 th floor

Beautiful resort - but you pay for it

Checkin was uncomfortable. I was told the day before my arrival to be ready for potentially aggressive timeshare sales and to ‘avoid mentioning VRBO’ to minimise the impact of timeshare sales. Upon checkin I was told I would need to move rooms mid way through my stay (which I knew might happen) I asked if that could be avoided and after checking with the manager they said they could let us stay for 3 nights in one room and 1 night in another. Fast forward to the 3rd day and management tell me that I misunderstood and I had to leave the room Immediately. Without going into why this was highly inconvenient with a young toddler, let’s just say that there was zero care shown for my situation despite the resort changing the plan for my stay. The location is stunning, the grounds are fantastic for families and groups alike and the sunsets are to die for, just be prepared for high costs for anything you want to do on the resort.

Great stay!

The room was a little tight for four of us, but that's what you get with a studio unit. That being said, the unit was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. As for the resort itself, it has everything you'd want in a resort: great pools, location, and service.

Vrbo reservation issue

The reservation booked through VRBO was not clearly communicated that for 5 day stay, I would be booked for 2 days in one room and 3 days in another room. This was very disappointing, and inconvenient.

Great location and amenities

Reservation was pretty easy via Vbro. All My questions were answered by the property management. However, they manage a number of rooms and could not tell me which exact room I would get. That would have been nice to see the actual room I was getting. The “owner” sent me a text letting me know that’s if asked, I was a guest of there’s so I wouldn’t be hassled by the time share people. Nice pre-arrival tip! They did mention to reach out to them if I had any questions. I did ask about parking, but got no response back - odd. Check in process seamless and easy. We were in the Makai building (mountain side). Self parking had enough spaces and was secure. Easy access in and out. Our room was on the 2nd floor, perfect for garage, pool, fitnese, else access. Not needing to use the elevator was really nice! The pools were great! The kids had fun on water slides. Not a huge fan of people “reserving” pool chairs and not showing up for hours. We noticed a lot of people doing that! Beach access was easy and lagoons were a great to swim in. We rented chairs and umbrellas, which made it easier seeing the sun was really hot. Beaches clean and sand so soft! We attended a few of the morning classes - good instructors! Gym was nice as well - clean with plenty of exercise options. Our room was a bit small, but we made it work with 4 people (king bed and pull out). Would come back again, but would need a larger room. That said, could be a while since the price per night was not cheap.

Great for a family trip

Beautiful location, comfortable beds, staff was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Stay and play pass on the day we checked out was wonderful so we could spend a few more hours at the pool.

Beautiful resort!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Our only complaint was being asked to change rooms in the middle of our stay. However, the management was very accommodating and got us into the new room within an hour or so, since we had a wedding to attend that day.
