This is a beautiful, upscale condo overlooking the ocean and it is exactly as it looks in the pictures. It is plenty big enough for a family of 3-4 people. The bathroom is very large with 2 sinks and huge closet. The bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed, and the pull-out sofa was comfortable. We loved sitting out on the lanai watching the waves and since it was still whale season, we were able to spot whales every day. The Kapalua trail is directly below the condo which makes it awesome for morning walks. It is also within walking distance to the Ritz which is fun for morning coffee. The property manager was easy to reach and extremely responsive. Kapalua is a bit further from the action of Kaanapali and very quiet but an easy drive to Whalers Village or even Lahaina if you want a bit more action. A few suggestions that would make this place even better. Extra blankets for the beds as it was a bit chilly when we were there. The bedroom TV was not working while we were there. The property manager sent someone to fix it, but we were never able to change the channel. The remotes are confusing and often times left us searching for a signal or input. Normally we are not in Maui to watch TV, but we were there during the 2nd Kona low and massive rains along with March Madness had us a bit more interested in the TV. The fan in the bedroom makes a loud clicking noise above low. Binoculars in the condo to see the whales. Rent this place, you won't be disappointed.
